That's supposed to be fixed in the latest patch, but if you can, check your title screen to see if it says "V1.31" or not and let me know so I can be sure!

You can adjust your control stick deadzones by going to Options > Controls > Remap Inputs > Calibrate

Check the title screen to see if it says "V1.031" in the top left. If not, your S ranks will only show on the menu if your highest score was an S rank. V1.031 changed this so it would save your rank separately from your score, but if you're still having issues after switching to the latest version be sure to let me know!

If you can't navigate to the Clear Data button through the in-game menu, try going to "HKCU\Software\LJ LephemStar" in the Windows Registry Editor, and then deleting the "Scratchin' Melodii (Demo)" folder inside. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Definitely sounds like your hardware's specs are below what's recommended, it definitely isn't supposed to run like that. I've added a recommended system requirements section to the page now. Sorry about that!

More proper in-game explanations for the mechanics are planned for the final game. For this version of the demo, everything in the hub world had to be completely remade, so as stated in the launch screen, not everything has been finished yet at this time. Sorry for the confusion.

If you go to the options and hit "Remap Inputs", you can change them.

Please read the troubleshooting section of the page. I've been able to use mine with this game, so it should work. Since it's a 3rd party controller, there are just a few things you have to do first.

Ah sorry, the funk value during the song is technically counting a different value from the one in the results screen, haven't gotten around to renaming and/or putting them back to the same value yet. Just know you aren't missing out on any points! The missing points just redistributed themselves to the other values in the final results.

Hello! It sounds like you have Steam running in the background, sometimes its input interferes with the game, so you should either make sure it's not running or go into Steam controller settings and uncheck "PlayStation Configuration". There are other possible solutions on this page's troubleshooting section as well. I hope this solves your problem!

Could it be that you're trying to use them wired instead of wireless? It seems when running the game natively it only detects it if it's wireless.

Can't guarantee but I'll see what I can do! Until then, perhaps try setting it to windowed mode and picking a smaller resolution in the Options menu.

Hey, I'm sorry you're having problems! Do you by any chance have a really low-end computer? I've tried my best with optimization, but I do think there unfortunately might be a breaking point where some devices just can't run it.

In the current build, you should be able to use it by adding the game's exe to your Steam Library as a Non-Steam game and then switching to the "PS" controller layout in the game's options. Sorry for the late response!

It was a ton of fun figuring out the puzzle here, once I got a feel for it taking advantage of the movement got really fun! Tons of potential for cool levels if this ever gets expanded upon :D

Thanks! At the moment I've got it covered, I've actually kinda been making the soundtrack a bit faster than I can keep up with developing, so I've already got a bit of a backlog to fulfill LOL. If that ever changes though I'll be sure to consider!

The next build will be more optimized, so hopefully that should help when it comes out, but do keep in mind that there's only so far I can go with that and some weaker computers might just not be able to run the game well, unfortunately. Remappable controls are also on the way as well.

If everything's setup correctly on your end, the Dpad should work, so you might wanna double check the troubleshooting guide if you haven't already, but regardless, the next build will have much easier controller setup so it'll work for sure there!

That file has an error log I can look at to (hopefully) see what the problem is and fix it in future builds, sorry it's happening to you!

Controllers have been very unpredictable and tricky considering everyone uses a different kind on PC, but if you've already tried everything in troubleshooting, the next demo will have native controller support which should (hopefully) kill the problem at its core. Thanks! The current to-do list includes warnings for upcoming Support bars, more tweaking to button prompts, and potentially a "Sing-along lyrics" option where they appear under the buttons if I can get it working,,, so hopefully those will do justice!

Hi, a lot going on here so try these out: First, that looks like a case of your Pro Controller's joystick drifting upwards a little. (Perhaps try calibrating it in your Steam Controller settings?)  As for the buttons being swapped, You should either change to the "XB" layout in options or just go to your Steam's controller settings and disable "Nintendo Button Layout" there, as when that's on it swaps the ABXY buttons to match games that only have Xbox button prompts. Not sure why your DPad isn't working, but I tried using the same controller as you and got proper results with my Steam Controller Settings setup like this. I hope this helps!

Heya! For keyboard users the game uses "S" for select and "D" for cancel.  Sorry for not making that clear! (Although if that's not working either there must be another problem, so just let me know!)
