Hey, I have a problem with the Android Port. At the beggining of the game, when Sam's talking the game just crashes, this happens everytime. I tried to reinstall the game and it keeps happening. I've downloaded again and played it, but it keeps crashing, thanks for reading this.
Hey, sorry for the late reply. The Android port is working on my phone, so honestly I really have no idea what I could do to help solve that issue. Nobody else has reported crashing, and I'm not even sure how you'd access the crash logs for the Android version to figure out what the problem is.
My understanding of Ren'Py on Android is that it's kind of jank, so my ultimate (unhelpful) recommendation would be to play on PC if at all possible, or maybe bring your problem to the discord so someone more knowledgeable about Android might be able to help.
I've been awaiting more content since you first released the VN, and I'm glad I did, was an amazing couple hours of play-time. You've done amazing with the characters personality, and looks. Not to mention the story is getting there, did not expect to see that cliff-hanger... Gettin' spooked for Casper now. Thank you for creating, and updating this game, unlike others not being grateful...
Fantastic game so far! Tore through the whole thing way too fast, but enjoyed jt immensely. The characters are all incredible and well written, and the dialogue and overall story are wonderful. My only minor issue currently is a lack of any sort of scene replay that I can find, which is only really an issue right now to know if I missed any scenes. It doesn't FEEL like there were any choices that would have led to closing out any big scenes, but i'm constantly paranoid about that kind of stuff in VNs.
Dude, be grateful you even get the game... It's been an amazing 3 updates from August. Sometimes there are shorter updates, and longer updates. Updates contain certain parts of the story, and end shorter, or last longer. They've done great with the VN.
The first two update's where great, but the drastic change in everyone's personalities all of a sudden in this update, has killed any interest i had. Feel's like femdom/humiliation.
The only disappointment I have is that it was too short, I was genuinely pissed when it said that i had reached the end of the update. I may not download it for a while until the updates pile on so that I can binge. these are like book novels for me so i need to be buried for hours at a time. Bonus points for not limiting the length of the names I dont understand why people do that cringe. Let me use my ridiculous long names that would be impractical in real life
If you want to be taken seriously and appear professional as a developer you 1. stick to your word 2. support your game on EVERY platform you use for it.
If the dev has an Itch page for it, I shouldn't have to go trawl through the internet to find the release he has promised.

It’s very clear that the developer has put a lot of time and effort into the rendering of his characters. You look at other games made with Honey Select 2 and all of the girls look like exactly the same super shiny sex doll and the guys either look like they’re either twelve or eighty. I am seeing modeling techniques being used here to really make the program work and they look absolutely gorgeous! It feels like a lot of time was taken to break the look of this game away from others and it shows! Combine this with a rapid fire witty dialogue and the underlyings of a truly fascinating story and you have the makings of a new masterpiece. There currently isn’t much content, but what there is shines bright and clear!
Once in a Lifetime and Eternum from Caribdis. This is definitely somewhat inspired by Cari's work. Also, Fates Collide and Twisted Fates which I'm pretty sure are also inspired by Cari. The tone, content, and atmosphere are similar. If you like Unraveling August, you'll probably adore everything Cari does. I'd recommend starting with Once in a Lifetime if you haven't already devoured what's out for Eternum.
The Arson Betrayal and Shale Hill Secrets are different, with Arson having more film noire elements and Shale having a more oppressive atmosphere. If you've ever seen the movie Brick, Shale has a little bit of that vibe. Shale HIll's production and story telling are really, really tight.
Evermore is also worth it, and has some overlap, but it starts a little bit awkward. PrometheusEVN (the creator) is still finding their voice but the story and composition are picking up nicely.
If I'm not wrong, August is also partially influenced by Harem Hotel, which is good, but a very different vibe.
Honorable mention would be Tales from the Unending Void for a sci-fi with a similar balance of tension, but more of an "on the run" feeling and nowhere near as much comedy. It also more seriously explores tension around familial relationships.
Some of the best dialogue I've ever read its got some great humor but not so much its obnoxious, just enough for the character to be real in the context of the game, not bland please keep up the great work you are making an absolute banger of a game.

Not kind words I'm speaking the truth :3, Most games around the adult category are very easy to predict and is almost always the same plot with mediocre character development.Dialogue is absolutely fantastic here as well as character development so far from what I was able to play, would be great to see a roadmap on what you plan to do with the game even if you dont have a website just a basic roadmap on whats planned and a rough estimate when I would love to follow the development of this game.
But so far great try not too burn yourself out though and dont overly stress yourself out a lot of devs seem to want each update to be a level up from the last and end up running out of ideas and just never finishing the game because of it once they feel like they cant outdo the last. Let it come gradually, natural development of characters and the twists you've added so far have set the bar high and are masterful in all honesty as many of the comments have praised. You'll get some hate if the update isn't as much(as they would like) but thats because they expect way too much to happen in a short span of time already. I would love to beta test for you if you need second opinions since ofc most writers are never satisfied and its good to get early feedback to get a understanding on where its lacking and stuff....May I ask are you working on this alone or do you have a dev team working with you?

I'll be testing android when the next update is ready for testing. There will be some 4k videos that I'm not sure are going to play well with android OS, but if that doesn't work I'll probably look into just converting them to a lower resolution.
Basically, it's in the works but it won't be ready until the next update (hopefully soon). As for joiplay compatibility, I couldn't tell you as it's the first I've heard of it, sorry!

So far I LOVE this. One thing I can say is that the way you made the story reminds me of Eternum, A LOT. But PLEASE don't rush updates. There is a lot of potential in this game and I feel like you can go above and beyond with this game if you take your time. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT UPDATE.
