question, will there be a sexual bit of content to this title? I'd love to see a nude Ruri and of course other ladies. I ask because when the trio of males ended up naked, there were censor bars on their genitalia. Being Bi I though Hinata was rather cute

I will look into it if I receive more complaints. Regarding sexual content, I have already stated my position in recent posts; I do use HS2 models (Transitioning to Blender in process) but to make it short: there won't be a pornographic depiction of characters, and there won't be a clear depiction of genitals, partial nudity, and the trio case all the way. Ruri and Hinata are cute, can't argue with that. For more questions, you can always use a specific channel on my Discord server or ask them here.
Oh, I must have missed that, I only recently started your title in its current version (chapter 6). You probably hear this alot but I wont stifle a devs creativity. Not every game needs sexual content though as nice as it is. Maybe place “no sexual content” on the page to help quell those particular questions. Just a suggestion.

- What is the uniform setting for the academy? Like, I see Byakuya has white tie, white blazer. Inei is black tie, black blazer. Yusei has Grey for both. Make me kinda confused.
(btw, I still think the first design for the uniform at the end of chapter 4 is the best. You CAN'T go wrong with sailor uniform, the male one Byakuya wearing also looks cool as hail, overly and anime clinche cool, but it suits the game, and cool :v. The 2nd design for Chapter 5 looks overly English style, too English, that even the whole chapter becomes gray tone :V. The new female uniform feels like it goes a little too far on the noble school idea with the decorated cloth on the neck *don't know what it is called*. In short, girls in sailor uniforms IS great, bring 'em back, pls :) )
- I notice the changes on the extra page. The new profile section looks nice. What is the intention for the third section though? It the "???" section next to tutorial.

About your questions:
Ren means "lotus" in Japanese, while Inei means "shadow/shade." I won't tell you the exact reason Ren decided to use those nicknames, but their symbolism might give you a clue.
I explained it in Chapter 4, but yeah, as uniforms keep changing, I don't blame you for getting confused. White uniforms are for the butterflies (students from healthy families), gray is for normal students, and black is for Shugosha.
The first design is cool but inefficient. I already explained why it's a bad clothing model, but to make it short, it doesn't follow the character's physique and is very limited in movement.
The uniforms are meant to give a noble feeling as this is a private academy. The sailor uniform was an error, as I forgot that it's still a winter uniform for the students.
The intention for the "???" section is a secret.
The first one can't be accessed if you decide not to tell the truth to Inei in Chapter 4; in that case, he will speak with Akira. The second one is, again, as I mentioned in one of the comments, "Finish the game with perfection and imperfection."

Listen, Kuro this is the best game I ever played, the story the humor, and the music I'm not sure if that music is custom made the one that plays at the start of the first version with the Flowers, or when the sculpture woke up I liked to know the name of it. Although why I am writing is content feels too short. I rather you spend years working on the game then fully release it in its full Glory if possible, make the game story very very long. The music the interactions it's literally perfect visel novel.

I Love Everything About The Game :) Just want more romance scenes that's all. Other then that to me this game is perfect and i like all the girls that are love interest.
To be honest, if u DO want to get rid of the voice of 'nsfw' ,the only thing u need to do is to abandon HS2 for modeling.The model quality is now quite overweighs the story itself(since it is exactly the most beautiful hero and girls i have seen, yet good but not perfect story). And if u want to get more focused on the story, maybe u should pay more attention on the skill of storytelling , and consider more about 'what is a interesting story'. Contraditions are the key of comedy. Sometimes it gets too flat.

As for the story, I'm still learning and improving (hopefully), so I would be glad if you could specify exactly what my story lacks.
I really hope you consider carefully before making the final decision on switching models. This game has very strong anime vibes and honestly I cannot think of a more suitable tool than Honey Select 2. If you use DAZ or Blender you lose the anime style, and if you use KoiKatsu it would be too anime. Besides, changing character design in the middle of the development could be very disastrous. I understand that this game is not finished and any change is possible, but you did choose to publish it in an unfinished form in advance and many players already had an initial impression of it. I of course am not forcing you or anything and I know Honey Select 2 is not the best option in the world, it has way too many limitations and is extremely unoptimized, I just hope you could consider carefully before finally abandoning it. And maybe keep the current character design/model if it's possible. Sorry for the rambling, I just love the current designs too much to let them go :(
No need to panic, the program I chose to use is Blender. Regarding the models, I recreated them to look almost exactly the same, just with better topology, texture quality, and better hair. Honey Select not only gives me a bad reputation, but it's almost like a fight every time I want to make something. For example: To import clothing in it, I need to make it in Blender, create textures in Substance, rig it, weight paint it, transfer it to Unity, test it in Unity, if it works, create a mod, play with textures because Unity sucks, transfer this mod to HS2, test if it works, notice a problem and repeat those processes until it finally works. As I'm not knowledgeable enough to make body parts disappear while wearing clothing, there will always be parts like neck or hands going through the texture, which will require me to spend even more time photoshopping them or spend hours remaking weight painting and testing what works and what doesn't. The optimization problem seems to be quite a well-known phenomenon, so I won't talk about it. Oh, there is also a lighting problem, and the only way to apply bouncing light seems to be through HDRI's, which is not good. Anyway, the point is, now when I can make something better and quicker, sticking to a program that hates me is quite nerve-wracking. The transition will not be a sudden one; I will inform everyone and show my progress later.

You seem pretty determined on this so I believe this would make the game better. You have clear goals and ambitions, are not afraid of making bold changes, and that's what impresses me the most. Trying to load past saves and it's giving me a script error. Any ideas? I'd rather not have to start from scratch again. I think I've had to this at least once before.
If you still haven't played ch5, it makes sense, as I rewrote the script, which caused this problem. I posted a save file for the players who had this issue, but it seems I deleted it. I don't have time right now to create another save file, so my only recommendation is to use the skip button. Sorry.
After ch4, I did a cleaning/organization of the entire code, which caused this issue. Those who played ch5 should not have problems running ch6. If you do not want to replay up to ch4, skip it.
I use Photoshop a lot when creating fight scenes. About 80% of Ren's fight renders were edited by hand, so you can imagine how much time it would take if I had to use adjust each frame in a single animation.

yea She's a locked character for Ren only , u can see who they "prefer" when u go to the main menu , click on the flower(?) on the top right
go to characters
on the bottom right , where it says "on" , click on it , on each character you'll see a red flower and a blue one(red for Inei and blue for Ren).
if u see that a character has both flowers , it means that character is an LI unlocked for both personalities(Maeda) , if u only see one flower ,it means that character is an LI locked to 1 of them
This is a great game! I downloaded it yesterday and couldn't put it down until I finished it.
The overall story is quite interesting and kept me captivated from the first few minutes right to the end. Without giving any spoilers, I will say that the clearly well thought out background of our main character has a nice build up throughout the story so far and I'm always excited to take a break from the current moment to dip into the backstory of our main protagonist to learn more about why he is the way he is. There is a certain level of mystique in the games story that I find riveting and keeps me clicking away to find out more.
The girls feel realistic, each having their own unique flair to them that really helps bring the world to life and provides a wonderful flavor to the character beyond a basic "Adult content" doll that I find some games tend to have. I even started to like our little "phone" companion!
The work done on the actions scenes is also really well done! I can often find myself just clicking through actions scenes quickly as they seem limited, but not with this game! I find that each scene is crafted quite well and really helps capture the moment and action. The timed events also add an interaction to the scenes which I thoroughly enjoyed. Not to difficult but enough to make me feel like I was interacting with the scene, instead of just being a bystander watching the protagonist do his thing.
I found myself chuckling quite a few times throughout my playthrough. Unlike some games, I didn't find that the jokes were forced or cringe, rather they flowed naturally into the scene and added a nice touch to the dark themes of the story.
I Love this game, and I can't way for more to come out. Great story, character models, environment, action. I highly recommend trying this gem of a game out.
Hmm can I ask something is this some kind of kinetic novel which is don't have a choices? All you have to do is to scan and read all the dialogue for story and you can't choice your ending? It's some kind boring. Don't offend but that's my opinion. I'm just asking I hope it's not.?
did u have inei fighting Maeda (at the gym)? if u did , play the game from the start again and pick the same choices (that u picked in that old save, u don't need to change ur choices)
after the fight , if it doesn't send you to the menu , then u can continue the game without any problems
Definitely loving the game so far and can't wait for more. Characters are hilarious and beautiful and the story is great. Started it one moment and before I knew it 3-4 hours blew by and phone went from 90% to 35%. Heh.
Its always funny seeing some of the games like this and how they start, like, bruh, do a blood test or something to prove who he is and to figure out if they're related. Its not hard. I'm thinking too much into it, but it would be nice to see every once in a while. So far, I like the game, haven't encountered any choices yet.

From a story perspective, it wouldn't make sense. However, there will be other characters like Maeda where you can choose the route.
The new update was really great, the exams and reika part is peak comedy!!!! But what with the sudden greyness color tone? If playing straight from 4 to 5 then it will feel kinda weird at the sudden change to some kind of mystery horror theme game though it is not really an issue or anything since it maybe intentional for future content maybe? idk. My only issue is WHY THE GREY UNIFORM TOO ??? The white one looks so good at the last update, It really suits the elite academy vibe. Now everything in chapter 5 looks like we're in some kind of super strict middle-class public school. It just feels really wrong to me in this setting. Though, all in all, thank you for your hard work. I really love your game, it is one of the best in terms of visual design and writing for me. Wish you best luck in your life <3
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Regarding the visuals, I noticed that Renpy had a strange method of adding saturation to the renders, which resulted in images appearing more reddish. I fixed this issue and made several overall improvements, such as enhancing skin shaders, textures, and so on. I also decided to create a more natural and darker atmosphere, which aligns with my initial vision for the game. As for the new uniforms, I have gained the knowledge to create my own assets, allowing me to depict the uniform in a more original and traditional way. Additionally, I now have the flexibility to modify it if needed, which was challenging with the previous uniform. Not to mention, the previous uniform lacked movement flexibility and required adjusting the characters' physique to make it look good.
Things are getting interesting now huh I'm excited what comes next in the next update you make Kuro :D I'm curious who that person was at the end another assassin maybe ?? who knows.....

There are 2 personality. I never play any visual novel like this. So,its kinda new for me and i kinda didn't like it. Its kinda like multi-protagonist's. So ,if i playe with just one personality will i miss any girl?
I'm unsure how far you've made it into the game but yes, as it mentions some of the girls gain affection from some personality choices. I believe you can also see who they 'prefer' in the Character Menu by clicking the On/Off button in the bottom right.
I totally forgot about the Ruri button on the quick menu. Filled out all of the Gallery except one image that I'm missing.
It'll probably be obvious in hindsight but would it be possible to get a hint for #8? I thought it might be tied to the choice during the bit with Akira in the lab but choosing the one I know I didn't go with the first time didn't change anything.

if u see that a character has both flowers , it means that character is an LI unlocked for both personalities(Maeda) , if u only see one flower ,it means that character is an LI locked to 1 of them

I've only played Grisaia Phantom Trigger, and I haven't finished it yet. Anyway, no, it is not based on that or other Grisaia games.
This is a great game! I downloaded it yesterday and couldn't put it down until I finished it.
The overall story is quite interesting and kept me captivated from the first few minutes right to the end. Without giving any spoilers, I will say that the clearly well thought out background of our main character has a nice build up throughout the story so far and I'm always excited to take a break from the current moment to dip into the backstory of our main protagonist to learn more about why he is the way he is. There is a certain level of mystique in the games story that I find riveting and keeps me clicking away to find out more.
The girls feel realistic, each having their own unique flair to them that really helps bring the world to life and provides a wonderful flavor to the character beyond a basic "Adult content" doll that I find some games tend to have. I even started to like our little "phone" companion!
The work done on the actions scenes is also really well done! I can often find myself just clicking through actions scenes quickly as they seem limited, but not with this game! I find that each scene is crafted quite well and really helps capture the moment and action. The timed events also add an interaction to the scenes which I thoroughly enjoyed. Not to difficult but enough to make me feel like I was interacting with the scene, instead of just being a bystander watching the protagonist do his thing.
I found myself chuckling quite a few times throughout my playthrough. Unlike some games, I didn't find that the jokes were forced or cringe, rather they flowed naturally into the scene and added a nice touch to the dark themes of the story.
I Love this game, and I can't way for more to come out. Great story, character models, environment, action. I highly recommend trying this gem of a game out.

Hmm can I ask something is this some kind of kinetic novel which is don't have a choices? All you have to do is to scan and read all the dialogue for story and you can't choice your ending? It's some kind boring. Don't offend but that's my opinion. I'm just asking I hope it's not.?

I downloaded the new version and surprisingly my save is death.
So can you deal with this issue please My old save files was from version 4.
did u have inei fighting Maeda (at the gym)? if u did , play the game from the start again and pick the same choices (that u picked in that old save, u don't need to change ur choices)
after the fight , if it doesn't send you to the menu , then u can continue the game without any problems
so I did have inei fighting Maeda that cause my save die ? And I can play from that point ?
the same thing happened to me, the only way i could play it further was to make a new save
loading a quick save that i had on that part didn't work either , so i had to play it from the start and it worked
You can click on the Ch5 Public Release devlog and read the last part. I have provided two save files for those experiencing save game problems.
Definitely loving the game so far and can't wait for more. Characters are hilarious and beautiful and the story is great. Started it one moment and before I knew it 3-4 hours blew by and phone went from 90% to 35%. Heh.

Its always funny seeing some of the games like this and how they start, like, bruh, do a blood test or something to prove who he is and to figure out if they're related. Its not hard. I'm thinking too much into it, but it would be nice to see every once in a while. So far, I like the game, haven't encountered any choices yet.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Regarding your question, I assume you're asking if Inei can romance characters that are locked to Ren? If so, then no, it won't be possible. From a story perspective, it wouldn't make sense. However, there will be other characters like Maeda where you can choose the route.
The new update was really great, the exams and reika part is peak comedy!!!! But what with the sudden greyness color tone? If playing straight from 4 to 5 then it will feel kinda weird at the sudden change to some kind of mystery horror theme game though it is not really an issue or anything since it maybe intentional for future content maybe? idk. My only issue is WHY THE GREY UNIFORM TOO ??? The white one looks so good at the last update, It really suits the elite academy vibe. Now everything in chapter 5 looks like we're in some kind of super strict middle-class public school. It just feels really wrong to me in this setting. Though, all in all, thank you for your hard work. I really love your game, it is one of the best in terms of visual design and writing for me. Wish you best luck in your life <3

Regarding the visuals, I noticed that Renpy had a strange method of adding saturation to the renders, which resulted in images appearing more reddish. I fixed this issue and made several overall improvements, such as enhancing skin shaders, textures, and so on.
I also decided to create a more natural and darker atmosphere, which aligns with my initial vision for the game.
As for the new uniforms, I have gained the knowledge to create my own assets, allowing me to depict the uniform in a more original and traditional way. Additionally, I now have the flexibility to modify it if needed, which was challenging with the previous uniform. Not to mention, the previous uniform lacked movement flexibility and required adjusting the characters' physique to make it look good.
Things are getting interesting now huh I'm excited what comes next in the next update you make Kuro :D I'm curious who that person was at the end another assassin maybe ?? who knows.....

There are 2 personality. I never play any visual novel like this. So,its kinda new for me and i kinda didn't like it. Its kinda like multi-protagonist's. So ,if i playe with just one personality will i miss any girl?
I'm unsure how far you've made it into the game but yes, as it mentions some of the girls gain affection from some personality choices. I believe you can also see who they 'prefer' in the Character Menu by clicking the On/Off button in the bottom right.
