working on the tileset and facing characters' size issuees

I've decided to write this in a devlog although I'm not uploading any new content, just want to let anyone who is interested know what's up with the project.

I'm currently working on the first tileset for my frogs. In the process I understood that I have too much inspiration to just make one set of tiles. I've already come up with several themes, but of course I'm going to work on them one by one and now I'm aiming to just make the first one and then see. The themes are:
1. cake valley
2. chocolate dungeon
3. jelly forest
4. frog village

I had to think quite a bit about what tile size would be perfect for my characters. 32x32, although big per se, seemed too small for my characters because they can't stand with both their feet on one tile. To make a long story short, I've come to a conclusion that I'll have to resize all my frog sprites to work best with the tiles. I won't delete the original sprites though, some people have used them already, and two size variations might be valuable for different things. In the screenshot you see the original size of my frogs on the left and the third, smallest frog is the size I think I'm going with.
(And on the right you see a steed sketch I've made - this is the first character from this world who is not a frog, there will be more. the steed is obviously supposed to be ridden, so there will be sprites with frogs+steeds)

Now my plan is
-finish the first tileset (cake valley)
-and then resize all frog sprites
-then go on with the rest of the tilesets

While resizing the frogs I think I'll also tweak their colors just a bit to be seen better in front of different backgrounds I have in mind. hopefully this all won't take me very long. But I think it's the right decision.
