I adore the artstyle and animation of this game, and I've really enjoyed playing it so far!
The only major issue I have with the game is the wendigo/deer creature. It following you around the entire time becomes very annoying. It keeps me from my crops and it is pretty much always the reason I die. It camps outside the house, causing you to inevidably die to either the wendigo or the shadow creature. In my opinion, it would be more enjoyable if the deer comes and leaves like the other creatures do. Aaand, if the deer doesnt guard your front door, haha.
I would also love to see an option to save your progress in the future! That'd give us players more freedom to play the game whenever and wherever we want.

I think this game is amazing and has amazing potential! What I would love to see, is 2 different game mods. One for hardcore (where you die and start over) but I would find it relaxing is there would be a verdion of the game where you can respawm without losing your progress. Maybe that this gamemode where you don't loose progress can be "endless" where you don't just beat the game as with the hardcore version but just have infinite playtime.
Mixing horror and farming is a good one, never done before and now we all know this mixture is excelent! Although, once you learn the game its really easy, but not boring or anything, thanks to some "buddies" theres always something to do (or rather, be afraid of), i love the fact that the enemies are always there with you, they never actually stop chasing you, they just rest a bit but the game makes sure that they you never feel alone (in a bad i mean). The thing that couldve been more anxiety inducing was if the crops would spoil, so for example if you go to the safe zone for wathever reason, you could comeback and instead of a fully grown crop, you may find dead plants or something because you didnt watered them. I think that the games needs to be harder, wether or not you know how to play it, kinda like dont starve is, doesnt matter how pro you are, at the end of your world, you will probably die to the most basic thing in the game (hounds, fire...) i think this game needs to punish the player more for making silly mistakes and overall, a harder game would improve that. But i think that dying is pretty much a bad idea, i mean, dying for nothing that is. Since you will die a lot in the first few times, id think would be great to have something saved or similar for the next run, like, imagine if you could bought or do something that would be consistent through the runs, like exp system or something like that. Bringing dont starve in comparison again, for ds dying is a lesson to the player and make it learn by its mistakes, but i think that making it just a lesson in this very game may not be the right thing, bc you die a lot and the game world/objective overrall is not so ambicious and big (no offense intended) as dont starve. I think the game has IMENSE potential, i wish i could help the creator, unfortunately i dont have a credit card and my country is not friendly towards paypal, i hope this game gets improved and we can see a release of a full version someday. About the graphics, i dont think theres much to say, its pretty, very pretty but very scary when things get ugly. The only thing id point out are some gui going behind the character (progress bar of the boat) and the audio of the creatures doesnt seem right at times, unless your right behind an enemy or really far away you cant tell what direction they are at, this happened a lot to me with the clown, at mid distances you cant tell where to go, it seems like a mono sound if your not really far or really close.
This game has sure a lot of potential, you can feel the passion in the project and the professionalism overall, i really recommend to stay tunned on the creator and this project.
In the end im just giving my opinion on the game, its really refreshing and great to see such a inovative idea!
They've said in other comments that multiplayer is complicated to make, but they're going to keep it in mind for the future :) I really hope it eventually becomes a reality
I dunno if this has been answered already but will this game come to steam one day? I am not familiar in playing or downloading games that are not on steam or epic games. But I am still very interested in this game!
Brother, just saw your game on Tiktok. And heres a suggestion- Is there regular deers? If not how about regular deers as well so its not always "go hide when u see deer" and you have to guess whether its deer or not.
Also If you include sanity level like "Dont Starve" it can be chef's kiss for example when u approach regular deer, ur sanity increase while other monsters drop ur sanity when u get hit
if ur worried about maintaining servers just make it so we the players have to host so we can multi farm and maybe even attack some of the monsters together have some interactions with eachother... i beleive in yall good luck<333
I honestly LOVE your game and i would like to see it on steam for 10/15 dolars.I would buy it instantly. And i have got an idea: what if every time you die there would be some message from the monster like in cuphead and with that there would be why and what killed you and how to avoid it.

I played this on stream tonight and absolutely loved it! The art style and atmosphere are perfect, and even without the spooky elements the farming mechanics are still so much fun!! It was great figuring out how to work around the enemies and it was so, so satisfying to beat it! Great work with this game, I'll be looking forward to your future creations! 💜

this game is AMAZING. i literally cannot stop playing it. i 100% plan on making more videos on this game. My feedback- it's very hard to learn what the insta kills are. and once you learn about them.. you have to hard restart. game was insanely easier with a controller. mainly because the plant button gets in the way of the movement. IF you can make it where you can switch the input keys or make the mouse R/L plant and water. that would help. but also.. im not a crazy good gamer. game reminds me of RimWorld- i keep learning more and more thus i keep playing because i'm learning. anyways.. 10/10 game. insanely good

By all means, this game is fun and well made. It's quite hard though, with the thin time windows on certain whimsical fellows and the quite quick appearance of actual literal wendigo who can and will camp you outside your shed. This leads to having to make note of numerous threats at every step, not having the slightest window of respite. The game does provide hints on how to deal with these threats, however from my experience it does it after the player has already figured them out. Overall good game but challenging.
Ive been in the mood for a good peaceful farming game ! I was not ready for how scared this made me lol Great atmosphere and love the monsters! The only issue I had was that the music would play and let me know when to hide from the monster but I was unsure when It was safe to go back out.
After seeing CJU play, I fell in love, and had to have this game. Absolutely love everything about it! It took me several tries before I realized the clown event needed stereo sound to track him down in time, but I got my revenge.... by running off with his balloon. =P
I usually end up playing well over an hour per session, I think I made it through night 5, the tension filled farming is just too fun stop. I would definitely play an expanded version, or a sequel. =3
This is the first pc game I've ever downloaded and started playing today (came from CJUs gameplay). I'm absolutely loving this right now and will be having my husband play later. Only issue I'm having is being able to find the music box guy. I was only able to find him once and it wouldn't let me take the balloon. I can hear the music really loud in some areas as if I'm right on top, but he is nowhere. Then later I came back and he was there, but can't get balloon.
Thanks for your feedback! The clown can appear anywhere randomly every time it comes. You have to listen carefully to find out where it is. If you find him and he is offering you the balloon, you should be able to grab it with no problem.
hi, husband here. i got to say this was so creepy and fun i was cursing at the screen every time something scary happend. music box uhm no. shadow guy and runing man at the same time no thank you. you have such a strong game here and even with some minor tweeking (like a clock, hiding areas other then the house that could get destroyed if hit to many times. counters for the mobs) this game is really simple and easy and terrifing you did such a good job. not to mention your main character and the crow are so absolutly adorable. i told my wife that it gives off Over the Garden Wall vibes(not just cause of the pumpkin) i wil be loking forward to what you do next.
id add more levels, you leave on the boat just to go to a new map. it would be really cool to arrive at a dock just when you think you make it and you have to keep playying. but on a new bigger farm with all new terrors and challenges. even addding a bunny to eat your bush if you dont get to it in time, or a bird that destroys your fishing rod. a boat breaking down animation. putter into a dock and as you slam into place your bag of money drops into the river and the crow tells you you something sad and cryptic like "oh man a new farm, looks like this one has critters too maybe there wont be any monsters. better get started before you rot in that hat cawh cawh cawh" and so on and so forth. further away patches and smaller buckets could extend play time.

As the creator puts it on Android and uploads it to the play store, the game breaks it, I mean, it puts it on a multiplatform and it gains worldwide fame. A very good game to see, stepped out does nothing.✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Hey great game although I was forced to play the Korean version. Although I've tried multiple times to install the 1.1 version, it saves as a raw file making me unable to launch it. At the end, I just installed the Korean version because that was how badly I wanted to play it asap. Is this my computers problem, or a bug?
Uhhh, okay, weird bug. I started the game and was prompted to use F to advance the dialog which worked fine. finished talking with the crow, but the second I got control to move around the game stopped accepting any input outside of the escape key and mouse. But if I plugged in a controller it accepted input from both the controller and keyboard, however if I unplugged the controller it went back to not accepting input from the keyboard outside of the escape key again. I'm gonna play it with a controller but I figured I'd mention this odd bug and how I "fixed" it.

If the deer is camping your crops, just move to other planting area.
If the deer is camping your door, you can trigger him and hide quickly, he will go away of the door.

yes but the "hardcore" mode should be normal mode and the one you said should be endless that unlocks after you beat the game

That would take a lot of work. Right now I'm focused on updating the game with new content.

la resolucion es del tamaño de toda mi pantalla xd.

Have you ever thought to add chinese in Pumpkin Panic? Many Chinese love your game.
For example, what the crow says at the beginning of the game can be translated as:

Many Chinese are willing to assist you with translation, and most of them don't want the money.
The game is open for people to create translation mods.
Until the final version, the game will not have official in-game translations.
