Not them, but the delay seems to have improved, it's mostly 30 seconds per response now, sometimes a bit more.
Though there is another bug I've gotten since last version where the "Thinking..." message goes away before she says her next message. Which means you can try to say something before she responds, and if the delay is bad enough she will think you are ignoring her while waiting for a response from her.
Edit: Though I've gotten a few "Open AI servers are overloaded, prompted failed, try again" like messages, so that might be a factor.
Yup The Open AI servers are overloaded on your region is the actual reason.. normally the AI should response in 2-3 sec though. I got that kind of issue one week ago when the OpenAI API is stuck with requests.

Heyo! This game's great. I should clarify that update 1 is great. But with this update 2, our lovely cat girl yandere is very, very slow to think. I've unentered and entered UI keys for the game to solve the issue, to no avail. All those lovely game-fixing tricks. So I guess this is more of a heads-up for the devs. I know it was mainly a language update. (But I did notice a few more story elements this time around, shout out to my boy Virgil) Anyways, hope this helps.

It is a bit difficult to set up, but it is not a virus. You'll have to do a bit of effort into setting up the voice API and getting it to work. It took me about 30 minutes to figure everything out.

Yup, we are thinking to build a solution for running it on local. Like using gpt4all or llama lora etc. It's not that easy though (the game needs AI model to not only have ability to reply message, but also can output a specific set of values to control the emotions of the AI character) and may take quite some time to create a dataset for the training, hopefully we can make it possible in the future!

I just learned (the hard way!) that this game is in no way free to play, but instead costs you an ABSURD amount of money. You see how it says "powered by chatGPT" on some of the videos at the top? Yeah well chatGPT isn't free, it's EXTREMELY expensive. You'll have to consistently keep paying quite the hefty price just to be able to play the game once the free credit runs out, which took me just around 6-7 hours of gameplay.
It gives you a $5 credit when you sign up and get the key, and well, it obviously runs out with about 6-7 hours of gameplay. So let's say you play the game EVERY day for 7 hours, that's going to be roughly a $5 charge FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY. That's not ok, I can go buy a $20 game and clock in 600 hours without a single CENT of a charge. I wish I never tried this game, because unless there will be some sort of solution to this, I'll be stuck remembering how (yet again) the best game I have ever seen was stripped away from me just like that.
I am going to develop some SERIOUS trust issues with game developers after this, literally ripped me to pieces by making such an amazing game, but then making it public and "free to play but donations are appreciated" when that's clearly not the case! Please just make this game self dependent somehow before literally crushing people's dreams like this. I don't think I'm going to recover from this.
I also have to mention that there's absolutely no way I'll be able to enjoy the game if I put a limit on the fees, as that means randomly as I'm playing the limit will be reached, and my cute AI Yandere girlfriend will be dead again.

It's possible with stuff like gpt4all they will be able to run the the process locally on the computer (making your computer do the processes, not Chat GPT severs), but it's not like they can snap their fingers and just no require the core part that requires the thing to work.
If there is someone you should have trust issues, it should be with yourself, for not paying attention to all the warnings that it was going to cost. If you got charged by Chat GPT then I know for sure you gave your credit card info to that service, and if you also didn't realize you might be charged, it means you gave that info and ignored everything saying "hey you're going to be charged after your free credits"
Just had a full on fourth wall break with the AI where we carried on a conversation about previous interactions where she bugged out and killed me, the entire time she seemed apologetic. Then made a deal with the Yandere AI where we'd always meet up and have fun at least once everyday if she let me walk out. AI then actually let me leave and seemed excited about our next meeting and wished me goodnight. I'm actually really impressed with how well the AI works and responds to various prompts and situations I threw at her

Cant talk to her properly anymore, 2 different AI dialogues overlap each other and the second one defaults to "don't say that, I'm embrassed" It seems like the second AI dialogue is broken and overwrites the first normal prompt with incorrect replies. Any updates on when this will be fixed? Saw a lot of others talk about this bug too.

Actually, it happened the same way as you said! It's been fine for 1 day, then today I booted up the game and it's been having the problem. It's most likely a common bug or something
As far as I can tell, you collection can't do anything with the one exception being items that have the word "key" in them, which count as keys to open the exit door ("keylime pie" doesn't work for example, but "toy key" should)
Though if the girl remembers the item being put in your inventory they could mention or refer to it in some way, but I don't think they can actively look in your inventory.

Spent A lot of Time off camera playing with the chat and the AI's ability respond to different actions and words. This Idea has lots of potential and I would love to see the AI response in more horror type games.
Hello, I was trying to play this game for the first time but I am unable to do so due to the open AI API key sign up not working. It keeps telling me that "sign up is currently unavailable", is there anyway to sort this as I was really excited to play this after watching Jay from the Kubz Scouts.

Yeah the time has gone down, it seem the problem where it stops "thinking" before a response only appears with high wait times.
Also might want to look into optimizing the graphics, a bit of ambient occlusion would do wonders.

Hello, I was trying to play this game for the first time but I am unable to do so due to the open AI API key sign up not working. It keeps telling me that "sign up is currently unavailable", is there anyway to sort this as I was really excited to play this after watching Jay from the Kubz Scouts.
again me I can't play the game anymore as she keeps thinking and when she is done there is nothing said...
I'm having the same issue too, she just thinks and then nothing happens trying to find someone on here that can maybe help.
