You should be able to play your save files from the Steam version by default, as long as it's on the same device. If it's not registering you can take the saves from the Itch build save folder and put them into the Steam one. If you're playing on a totally different device, you'll need to transfer the saves by uploading them to a storage sight or onto a hard drive and then downloading them onto the new device.
I feel like there's an opportunity to add one more CG in Step 4. Specifically during the breakfast party at the Holden household. It would be really nice to see the whole cast in their glory. I haven't played the wedding DLC yet, but I hope there is a CG in it too
hellooo i actually love this game so much i actually got the game with the DLC's on steam unlocked since i couldn't afford paying it but i'm actually kind of struggling to get to step 4 i asked from a friend who played the same game but as soon as i proposed to cove it immediately gave me the end credits was there something that I've done wrong in the past steps? send help T^T
Are you saying you got the game from somewhere other than Steam or Itch? Or you're playing the Steam version without any DLCs? I'm not sure, unfortunately. I would suggest deleting the build you have and trying to download it again from the official store pages to be make sure that you have the most up-to-date version. There are older versions of the game that didn't include Step 4.

I've got this game on Steam already, but I just needed to come here too to say how freakin fantastic it is and how happy it made me!! hands down one of the best VN i've ever played , if not the best tbh. my hopeless romantic heart could'nt be happier. this game made me live so much emotions, it's so warm and relatable.
also the options for gender identity have made me incredibly happy! and i'm loving the various answers options, most VNs are very 'black and white'/either this or that but this one gives so many in between options, it's absolutely amazing

I'm afraid the game may not work on your device and so is considered bugged, or that because it's not from the Google Playstore the phone won't let it run. We'll see if there's a way to get around that, but I'm not sure if we can make the device accept the game.

I've never played a game that was as light and beautiful as this one. It was a wonderful ride. The characters are really likeable and the most important thing - they have soul. Amazing how naturally they talk, behave, react. After 7 hours of playing, i kinda got addicted and couldn't stop playing because it made me engaged in the story. I normally don't write any comments but this time i had to. Thank you so much for giving me and other people opportunity to have they hearts melted and show the pleasing and (mostly) stress-free parts of life. i really needed it and I think that people who need to feel this warm feeling would like to try this game too.
there is a problem when I play it (I play on android), I haven't even read the story at all, every time I press any button in the menu, the game just closes, I don't know if there is a problem with the game or my phone has a problem, or maybe it's because my phone doesn't support the game? I loved this game so much! I am overly tempted to get all them DLCs but I have already spent more than I should have on games and things this month.. maybe when I get some more money and there is a little more wiggle room to work with.. either way I loved everything. One thing I'm very interested in is Derek. Everything about him. He is awesome. Although I cannot lie I did get an overwhelming amount of 'the butterflies' during this.. I am so lonely, at least I have fictional characters to soothe my loneliness! (that was a joke. mostly.)
This is a amazing game in every way the story no matter what decision you make is amazing and the characters are all human and the Ost is perfection and the art stile is also one of the best I have seen I don't know how to say how good this game is just beyond perfect 11/10

The download generally starts automatically when the button is clicked, though does bring up a pop up with more suggestions. There could be a connection issue. Or, are you on the Itch.io app? Sometimes that has more problems than the direct webpage.
If you have a pop-up blocker that might be stopping the download as well.
so after i installed the step 3 DLC, it is said that i have to download the main file again. i thought i have to uninstall the game before downloading it again, but now apparently my saves disappeared and the DLC is not yet installed (even tho it is before). is this supposed to happen??
If your main game build is too old, it might not work properly with the DLC. So, you'd need to download the newest version of the game then add the DLC to that build instead. If your DLC isn't showing as installed, it might be in the wrong place. If you post a screenshot of your folder I could check it out for you.

I'm sorry! If Itch doesn't accept GCash there's nothing we can do to change their policy. And Itch is the only place it's available for Android currently, so there isn't an alternative right now. Maybe we can find another host site someday, though.

If the saves were extremely old it's possible they were no longer compatible with the latest update. I'm really sorry. That rarely happens, but unless something happened with your computer's data that's my only guess.
I LOVED this game! I will always be attracted to games that allow character customization. The characters were good too - Cove and his parents were my favorites. I definitely enjoyed going the slow burn route with Cove, and getting together with him at the end!
I want to give special attention to the artwork, which is amazing. The facial expressions, the special screenshots, all great. I definitely recommend this game.
Hi :(. I've played this game alot on pc abd I'm looking forward to playing it on the go on my phone. But, after installing it, an error occurs. Whenever I open it and try to tap anything in the starting screen(like new file, continue, gallery) the game just crashes. I've tried reinstalling a couple of times alr. Please help TT
You might need more memory to properly run the game on your device or a virus scanner/your general settings might be closing the program out because it wasn't downloaded from the Google Playstore and that can seem suspicious to a phone. The phone might not have enough ram to run it as well. You could try going to the settings and turning off the animations to make it easier to run, if you can reach the settings page. I hope you're able to get it to run!
It says there's no place to save. I'm afraid I can't be certain why. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if something went wrong with the build installing, or clear up some more memory on your device to give the game more room to work.
I was able to play the android APK now! It worked on a phone I recently just got, Samsung A13. This game is really cute, I'm glad I was able to play it ❤️
It might've been removed by a virus scanner because sometimes the engine we use is incorrectly flagged as dangerous. You can simply download it again from this page. The build being deleted won't erase save files, those are kept in a separate location on your device.

You don't need to open an .rpa file. You just need to put in the "game" folder of the latest build of the base game.

As far as i know, steam and itch.io are not compatible so if you want to play the DLCs on the phone, you need to purchase the DLC from itch

OL1 might be on an older version of the engine than OL2 right now. Maybe future updates will fix it.

You're supposed to extract the game from zip file. Once you extracted the folder, look for the application files named either Our Life or Our Life-32.
You may run into a "Do you want to run this program window?". Look for the "More Info" button to access the "Run anyway" button.
Then you wait for it to load and you should be able to see the main menu.
Let me know if this works for you. Because i've played the game with a Windows11 laptop and those instructions may not work for you.
