Everything seems fine while selecting the file, icon and name to add the game but when I try to start the game it just crashes. Is this a common issue or maybe something about my device?

I believe the "harem-hotel-win.zip" file is corrupted. "An error occurred while loading the archive". I've downloaded twice. However the MediaFire file "Harem_Hotel-v0.16.2-pc.zip" works. 👍
That explains why I was having issues with unzipping. Unfortunately, I've noticed MediaFire always downloads a lot slower than Mega or Google Drive. When I tried to use it after the Mega zip failed it gave a download ETA of 8+ hours.
Personally, I'm just hoping it ends up on Steam because I feel like that would make downloading and updating the game a lot easier.
Just got a chance to try, and my phone doesn't even want to start the download. I guess I'm just going to have to hope that the next update fixes the Mega file.

I can't help that well without exact quotes. But it sounds like you're talking about the first time you discover that Lin takes wednesdays off. You would need to enter her room once.
As you can see, in the this photo, it's Thursday(jueves in spanish), and Lin appears in the kitchen in the morning, but this is from version 0.15.2. actually in 0.16.2, lin no longer appears in the kitchen, being the same day and the same time as in 0.15.2. (Both versions with full story)
Here you can see, 0.16.2, lin doesn't appear in the kitchen on Thursday mornings, and no other day, I already check every day at the same time and when I go to her room at the same time he says "lately I haven't seen lin in the mornings in the hotel"
I don't know what this dialogue means when I go to her room "she must be in here", any day in the morning. sometimes says that she is in the shower, but never in the kitchen

Maybe try downloading on phone, and then transfer over to your pc. I did it this way since I noticed my phone downloads way faster than my pc

Have you installed a mod? They prevent saves from working unless the mod is updated, and all of them still seem to be outdated.
