Can you make it so the armies at other parts of the country, actually try and defeat the emeny country, because like they put most of their army at the borders and the other units are getting steamrolled by the enemy troops.
idea (very difficult) make nations spawn with better names, if the country originates in germany, make it something to do with germany (German Empire, n@zi germany, Weimar Republic, exc) if it spawns near russia/Belarus/Ukraine border make it something with any of them (like Belarus, USSR, Ukranian SSR, exc) with turkey it could it ottoman empre, byzantine empire, turkey or maybe even greek city-states
it would be difficult to add (especially in countries like russia, which are quite big) but if succesfull could certainly make the experience better, having names you know and recognize without having to spend 10 minutes changing every name manually.
The names are generated from a list of names so Greenbay is just a name from that list because it doesn't calculate where the cities are and give them the correct nation name.
One problem I have with this game is Canada, its layout is weird but other that that it's a great game! Keep up the good work! Edit: If you do every fix Canada up a little bit could you maybe try and add Newfoundland.
The new Oceania map is in a... weird "angle". I mean at first glance it looks wrong, though it is right, but most people would say this is a weird angle
Just a suggestion, but I think nations having flags will be cool! There can be either randomly generated flags or you can set them. although this is just an idea
I was legit going to post this myself 😂. Great idea though. Should definitely be a part of the game. Maybe you could even click on the flag symbol and choose one of the preset flags or even draw a flag yourself.
Ideology would be cool, like different ideologies have different stats. Like fascism having a greater chance of winning a war but a higher chance of revolt.

Well you can make your own map, but if you check the discord and ask around, someone has made or will make you a pretty good custom map :) Also great to hear that it's a fun game to watch with a group!
Maybe add things like pre-set up maps, i want one with every country in the world but it's very tedious to place it in the right spots and to rename all of them and then you can only play it once and have to do it all over again for another round
Yeah it actually is. if the said country has a green city then after the destruction of the original capital, the green city will become the new capital. From what I know the only way for a nation to get a green city is to annex a rebellion, the capital of the rebellion will become a green city.
idea list: bigger and more detailed maps (a world map with the same accuracy as, lets say, the europe map. ships: ships would make so much sense instead of just crossings, and it would mean you can invade from anywhere even if you aren't bordering it and/or next to a crossing like istanbul or something 'my country mode': being able to make a country completely yourself without the country's AI interfering whatshowever (and without god mode to alter other countries) power scaling (2 small countries can currently defeat a big one if they attack at the same time, which to me doesnt make much sense.) limited army size that replenishes slowly after every war (so you cant have infinite battles

For some countries like mine Credit card are not supported means i cant have money,i cant even afford 1 cent so its gonna impossible to play games,Sad.
please add ui for how many landmasses there are ( in some sort of debug menu toggleable at the begining of the game) it can also be toggled in the middle of the game
FINALLY A MAC VERSION!!! :))))))))))))))) (it works fine, the only thing is that you have to download the itch app for the mac to launch it, you can't download the game directly onto the mac like I tried to do. I probably should have known that I had to download it but I am new and only have it so I can play this sick game.)

and also for placing countries make it where you place it it's named that instead of random names like "majorburg"
What month is the planned release date on steam? I know that pinpointing a specific day is hard so only asking for the month.

I will add some sort of ideology system to the full game. Haven't yet decided how it would work and affect combat etc yet.

In the steam version there will be an option to enable enclaves or disable them. just a heads up though, it will be paid, in case you didnt know.
