edit: ok i did all maps backwards other than akina downhill cause that impossible to reverse race it in medium difficulty. the ae86 is super fast by the way and impossible to beat with the black car with 0 drift, which is my favourite
It says there is a download for Mac but it doesn't work for me, does that has something to do with the M1 chip instead of a Intel chip or am I doing something wrong?
When I've downloaded it and try to open it it says that there isn't an app to open the file in.. how do I fix this?

The AI works with a comeback system so essentially the farther you are ahead of the CPU the faster it drives and vice versa when you are behind. So when you drive backwards right after you pass the CPU the CPU slows down tremendously think that you are losing when in reality you are winning.

*these kinds of games encourage "Dev bullying" whereby developers gain pleasure from the sufferings of those who they trick into playing their games*
1. AI drives like God himself were driving Chariots in heaven - NOT FUN
2. AI cars are 1000x heavier than my car (i might as well be a paper airplane to them ) - NOT FUN
3. rage-inducing oversteer.. i smash into enemy cars driving at nearly full speed and they send MY car drifting into oblivion - NOT FUN
4- i manage to kn0ck the AI off the map for 20 - seconds and it catches up to beat me every time - NOT FUN
5- i DRIFT up a hill for like 10 seconds straight ... no points.. no rewards of any kind... ( just that worthless POS AI driving up the hill FASTER than me while also NOT drifiting )... for the win - NOT FUN
6. The faster my time is the faster the AI is - i beat my record and the AI is always one step ahead - NOT FUN
7. if you want me to never download another game of yours and drag your name the please leave the AI how it is and kiss off -your jokes were slightly funny but this game is awful

Bruh the game only has 5 levels, if they were baby mode it would be no fun. After two days I Beat all the levels and I am still having fun, getting my best time, and all of that. I'm sorry you are butthurt about a developing racing game, but that's just how the cookie crumbles.

It's probably a compatibility issue with the M1, you might want to try using a VM or deleting all Jelly Drift files and reinstalling.
or just use the chmod + x command like me and it will work fine
command line syntax (if still in the downloads folder): chmod 755 /Users/$USER/Downloads/Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/Jelly\ Drift

try making the game executable via command line: chmod 755 /Users/$USER/Downloads/Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/Jelly\ Drift
and going in to system preferences going to Security & Privacy and click allow
PS: macOS isn't trash you just got to know your way around the os ;)
