This Visual Novel was absolutely incredible! Certainly far better than the old stuff like My Stepsister Hitomi, and a number of other ones. Maybe a bit better than even Monster Girl Quest. (That one was a Hell of a doozy!)

It's amazing that you used 3d modeling to transition your creativity and really bring the characters to life. Even the legendary Stabby Stabby had a lot (and I mean A LOT!) of presence in this game. Actually, is this even a game? It's practically a demon in its own right! lol

Although there are a few points I've been only slightly disappointed at due to not having the necessary choices available, it's also understandable from a young adult's perspective to not completely prepare and all that.

So, besides what I found both incredible about the game as well my own opinion and insight for it, I just wanted to say that I have started my own Doujinshi for this, a sort of rewrite for it were things different from the MC's past (get this: I actually named the MC Satan for one playthrough. No "All hail Satan" moment, but still, pretty funny!), mainly if there were a Deus Ex Machina involved with one of my own personal characters that I usually write about in my books.

Anyways, what I wanted to ask you and your team directly about, Caribdis, is if you would like to at least read the book I'm making (Absolutely free, moreso considering it's your own work and property) and if you could give me your thoughts and opinions on it at a much later date. Mind you, I'm still working on it, but will be willing to give it to you after its completion.

Regardless, excellent work, chap, and please keep striving to do better than you did yesterday! Just like the MC, YOU CAN DO IT! (Little Nicky reference)

P.S. Really loving all the references, and maybe I should pay Ulric a visit and get my own Angel's breath for the road.

Also, ETERNUM is wonderful! I am soo hyped for how you will make the story go! And is it possible for you to get a Voice Actor for the girls in any of the games? It's fine without it but it might be an exciting prospect! **Please do not be pressured on doing things so quickly! Although I would like the entire game fully finished right now, it's better that you take your time just as you did with Once In A Lifetime.** 

This game was really enjoyable and mostly I loved about this game was the choice you make will have some great consequences in the future. Girl's are really nice in this game. Great job by the Dev and thanks for this game.

And about the storyline its was good so far, but the ending could have been better.

The story was really good and enjoyable plot wise to play and follow and Eternum so far is the same way. Although I do have to ask with the story being as good as it is do you plan on every continuing or making a part two to Once in a Lifetime because honestly the story seems like it could get better with some sort of continuation.

but as the story progress the became better and better. The story 10/10 since mystery genre in this game blend well with story. There are lot of veriety at the end of they story. They ending made me teared up out of the happiness🥲.looking forward for your new game update

Btw, any plans to release this on steam? I would gladly buy it. I have played many VN games and there are many great ones and I wouldn't want to put any of them in any specific order but yours clearly won all the prices. Last time I played something that left me emotionally jarred was when I played Witcher 3 and I would even dare to say that this belongs to one of my top games of all time and I have have played hundreds of games.

Did this whole game in (almost) one sitting because I NEEDED more of your work after the start of Eternum. (Loved the eternum reference in the car btw) I've played a lot of VNs in this genre but this one was so well executed, the humor was a great touch. There were so many times I was hoping something was about to happen and then it would, sometimes even better than I expected. I would go as far as to say this was my favourite VN but the start of Eternum was just so good I'm conflicted. Either way, fantastic job and keep at it!

Really enjoying this game so far and looking forward to playing Eternum once I finish OIALT but I was wondering if there was a way to change my character's name? Maybe by editing a certain file, if so what file would that be?

This Visual Novel is an absolute masterpiece! I´ve enjoyed it so much the animation the charakter design is another level i fall in love so much i played some VN but no one got me like that and the end pictures with the music made me cry cause it was over damn this really is great work !!

I never been much into anime and japanese stylized stuff and all that and because of that I avoided this game at first (big mistake) but damn this game made me laugh and cry and I cannot wait to see more of your future content. Beautiful renders, very good animations and story! You just earned yourself a new patreon supporter!

Man im not really a fan of visual novel type of this kinda game i always prefer ADV or RPG, but maaaaan! this game instantly became my favorite of all, it changes my perspective about vn games and i've never been so attached to a visual character like i've been on this game's character (specially to Lauren and ofc Stabby Mike haha). I've already replayed it like idk 7 or 8 times already to achieve different endings but man i'm not planning to uninstall or delete it. I'll be waiting for this game's future updates and improvement, not saying it really needs improvement it's already awesome and lit as it is now so i'll be continuing to support this game throughout its future development.

I'm speechless! Out of all the novels I have played this is definitely my favorite. The humor, the story, the scenary and the characters are superb both in Oialt and in Eternum. The effort you put into your works astonishes me :) Keep it up!

it is very perfect novel. I laughted so much and i enjoyed scenes. I played it from beginning to the end and i can tell, that i was very impressed. Beautiful story, The best characters and i liked , that mystery there. 

I can´t lie, but i was very sad, that i saw end, because that game had me haha.

I was suprised, that there was trip to the Japan, because i love culture and more. Aiko is my favorite character. I can tell, that i fell in love with Aiko, because she is lethal and beautiful haha. 

What i admire are games there. i had to remember numbers and answer some questions in show before trip to Japan, it was fun. 

like i said, i liked game so much, i see so much work there and you wrote beautiful story, beautiful characters and beautiful monsters haha.

Hey man i have a question to ask, i am confident that i did nothing wrong on rebecca's route but in the end i couldn't convince her to abandon her wedding and come with me so i always end up getting "lost path" so just wondering if its just how the way it really ends or is there another way around?...

I left a moderately sized review expressing a lot of how I felt about this game. to put it concisely; what an experience this was Caribdis. From start to finish it was one engaging moment after another. Thank you for making this and ill be following your other works as an avid fan. 

I got a real kick when I realized that Magnus' Manor is the very same mansion used in the original "Escape the Ayuwoki" game before it was updated to the Steam Edition. Total flashbacks to Markiplier's playthrough! Appropriate too cause that game was scary as hell.

This game is the definition of "Came for the titties, stayed for the story." 10/10

Hello, I'm having a problem installing the game on my phone. I tried a few times, but it keeps saying "App not installed". My device is Redmi Note 8 and it runs on android 10 currently. And I also have plenty of free storage space left. Does this game not work on android 10 or is it some other problem? I really wanna play the game.

Man, I've played so so many games within these categories and I've gotta say. This one beats them all for me. Once in a Lifetime is simply the best.

It has such an amazing storyline, like please Caribdis are you sure you're not an expert game developer?

It has the amazing animation scenes, the hilarious yet wonderfully entertaining plot. Just wow, I mean, I've always recommended it as the go-to game on itch.io. It's just that good.

I've, myself, beat the game again, and I'm pretty sure im about to hit the Play button the again. And I'm not the type of player that goes and repeats the exact same game over and over, but we're talking about this masterpiece!

I got my first and only crash today. (spoilers follow, please don't read if you don't want to ruin the game)



Just after talking to Rebecca and trying to convince her to not get married i talk to Carla and then it looks like i'm in a coffee shop or something? then it crashes. I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:

So i used rollback and clicked as soon as it started transitioning and it is continuing now. Not sure if there will be more problems. 

I have played many games and I mean many games and this game is by far my favorite one !! Keep up the great work Caribou! Looking forward to checking out your other game !!

Okay, after playing this addictive game again and finally scoring that secret ending, I have but a few things to say:

DISCLAIMER: SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

1. ALL HAIL STABBY MIKE!

2. ALL HAIL THE GREAT CARIBDIS!

3. The option to play an EVANGELION soundtrack at a wedding makes me respect you even more.

4. I legit cried like a wimp when I heard that ending song.

5. My unbiased opinion, I rate this game a 9.5/10. Calling it a 10 would be my biased opinion.

And 6. Eternum HERE I COME!!!! (pardon the pun, ahem.)

I had this game suggested to me by a friend, and I have to admit, this has been the best AVN that I've ever encountered. The plot, the characters, the humor, just everything. Not to mention how hard I laughed, I created a Patreon account just to contribute to Caribdis, and then immediately downloaded Eternum.

Absolutely a 10 out of 10, no question. I browse hentai VNs just mainly looking for something to get off to, but my God this took me by surprise by delivering an engaging, repeatedly funny plot to go along with the great H scenes. I laughed out loud quite a few times in between the A+ sex scenes. The closet scene with Judie was so hot.

 Great fucking work Caribdis, definitely downloading Eternum right away!

This game is just so awesome!  Although I wouldn't say that the main plot is a very novel one, the writing is extremely good with nice pace and solid character building.  The H scenes, meme moments, references to other artworks all fit well. There is no single second I feel: the dev(s) just jammed this thing here. Great work!

Having finally beaten the story, i can say that i am in the stabby mike club for life. My literal only "complaint" is that there were no pregnant sex scenes since it had a pregnancy tag, but that's just personal preference. i have to give it 9/10 absolutely banger of a game that was made.

Holy shit. I was looking for something to waste my time with and have a bit of fun but... Damn that was amazing, completed it all in one go! The story was great, H scenes amazing, and the choices were genius wtf. Can't believe that choosing to free Stabby or not was gonna affect the whole game like that! I hope you continue on with your work! I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on them. I'm gonna miss the MC and his girls.

It felt like the devs were mind readers... The fan services, comedic timings, the eyes -_-, side characters (Stabby, Tom, Jack) and of course the story, the H and the heroines, they are all so amazing that I almost couldn't believe it. 

Thank you very much for this wonderful masterpiece. I'm just a random struggler on some random Asian country but I hope my words are enough as encouragement or a show of a fan's appreciation to this work.
