pls add an update for jelly drift android, because i still cant watch a replay, and that imposible Time record by Mr. Dani, and more feature that pc had please add it to the next update ok. by the way also there had some bugs on mobile, like cant recover, cant watch replay, didnt had a stats car, and for more bugs on mobile, please repair it immediately ok.
I don't mind that there's races, but the AI has rubberband syndrome real bad. I love hitting that perfect drift in time trial, but why does the AI set a 1:41 time on Pink Plains, only next round to set a 1:38? clearly it doesn't reward good driving lmao, and even so, you have to beat them to unlock more tracks and cars. It's kind of a shame really.
I didn't mention how much I enjoyed this game lol. It's incredibly challenging to battle with the cars being on the verge of control at all times, racing by the tip of your seat. It's just irritating to progress you need to beat something that will always improve at a faster rate than you.
Very satisfying contorls, only bad thing is the opponents don't drift, drive on rails and have more mass than you, making them really hard to crash or defend against. If they decide it's time to crash you during a drift, you better get outa the way fast or you'll end up on the side of the road in seconds
i don't think the enemies have more mass than you - however since their AI always tries to drive as fast as possible, if you're even just still accelerating (or worse, just crashed and are at a complete standstill), the wonky workarounds to make driving "feel right" instead of being realistic will cause a very unexpected impact, since the opponent has more *momentum* than you do
actually scratch what i said - the enemies can increase their engine speed when behind to keep it fair, which gives them way more momentum than you even can get, although their mass is still the same
the reason people hate the game is dani like physics and he goes yes but people who hate physics will hate it.ke physics but he put the drifting physics tooo far
the physics are unrealistic because there are multiple physics cheats to make the drifting and driving "feel right", which causes everything else (i.e. flipping over or when you have 4-wheel grip on a vertical surface) to feel wrong
The "AI" is completely and utterly unfair. They get free resets, can push you off the track with ease and don't succumb to losing grip at all, which makes them directly better than you and honestly more a nuisance than a challenge.
If rewriting the "AI" to be better is out of your league, maybe you could just require players to beat a certain time rather than race against an opponent.
Also, the controls are whack and aren't explained whatsoever. Customizable keybinds will solve this, but it won't fix that the cars feeling like utter shit to drive and are borderline uncontrollable at times, making actual racing pointless.
"controls are whack and aren't explained whatsoever" aight but it's just WASD to drive and then spacebar for brake, you don't even really need the spacebar to beat the AI and all of Dani's 3 star times, so does this really need explanation? besides, keyboard/controller input was an afterthought, you realize the intended control scheme for this game is a banana, right? What customization could you want? arrow keys work fine too and there's no excessive keybinds that could possibly justify wanting to use ESDF/RDFG/TFGH or any other shifted control scheme
The AI isn't unfair, it gets free resets yes but so do you, internally it's literally hooked up to the same car object controlling the throttle, brake and steering in the exact same way you can, just automatically instead of from inputs - but i can agree, the AI might be a bit too good, but at least it's not unfair, just feels like it
Good game, but the controls are on the verge of being unacceptable. The car drifts from the slightest movement, and once it’s drifting it doesn’t stop.
Also, a lot of times when the drift gets you off of the road, going back is hard, since the road is a little higher up than the terrain.

The game is alright i guess, but the controls feel really weird and in race mode the other car doesn't has the same physics that you have and also has more checkpoints wich makes it feel really unfair.
It's a nice free game, don't get me wrong. But the other works of dani are much better.

if you don't want rubberbanding AI, you can play time trials where ghosts always drive the exact same and never improve until you beat it

How do you reset the progress in the game? I completed the game, unlocked everything, got all of the stars and I now want to try again from the start.

It's just a fun little project.

By the way, there is a way to get good with the controls. Play for a few days, and you'll get better.
