Battle Royale is going to be released as pretty simple, with no major gameplay changes other than a circle and spawning with 0 ammo, being able to pick up ammo drops to increase your ammo. Then we'll see what features need to be added/changed to balance it and make it more interesting. Good ideas though! I like being able to incorporate kill-points somehow.
To elaborate on what ISS4C_F0ST3R said, itch.io generates a new temporary website every time I upload new files. Since saves are stored on the website, when a new website is generated it loses the saves on the old website. The only way to fix this is to play on https://rugbug/net/redmatch2 or download the game.
In the next update I am adding in cloud-based user accounts so players can keep data as it will no longer be stored on itch, but on a separate server which will not wipe data when there is an update, so you will be able to play on itch.io again. Until then, I recommend doing one of the two options above.

I like this game, very fast paced balanced. I would be cool if there where some more server options so you could do things like sniper only or disable upgrades. And skin customization, like hats / cosmetics.
There is skin customization, not sure what you mean there. Go to customize > skins. You can also set a custom one using any image URL. Hats/cosmetics may come in the future.

3. It's due to your connection, unfortunately. The only server is in the western United States, so if you live anywhere else, you'll have a very high ping.

Why don't you upgrade your health? Then the guns aren't one shot kill anymore, and the Rifle has an advantage.
Love the game! It's easy to play, fun and not one of those games where you have to have skill or a rtx graphics card to play!
