I like the look and feel of this one. I'd play a longer version. Nice job!

Good game! The assets were well-selected and integrated, especially the animations, and I liked the lighting. A pixel font would be the cherry on the cake.
I found an issue where moving on a slope after jumping does not cause the walk animation to play as it should. However that's very minor, and I would check out a full version of the game if you make one.
Great animation and pacing. I really enjoyed this jam. I would definitely play a longer version of it. My one critique is that I think the sound effects could be a little quieter. I think the music being at volume is wonderful.
This is a really good foundation to build something from, I liked the vibe and the animations were nice, the boss was fun and the mechanics felt smooth good job.
The game was really short lol. I was moving around trying to find more to do at the end even though I read the sign saying that it was short. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. But this was a cool short game. The music that started playing when I fought the monster was super intense. Startled me a little but it was cool. Yeah cool submission
Very nice sound and feel to the looks, and parchment speech boxes. Would be great if it were expanded upon someday too!
I see huge potential; the aesthetics of the game are nice; the music and sfx feel good as well; I think you should implement the story into the game more; the “shifting” mechanic needs more explanation because it’s just there; and I think the boss should be harder because it was so easy beating him; and the music you chose for the boss was so out of place that I think you should replace it; but overall, good job! :D
The game looks nice, feels a bit empty though. The sound effects are good, there should be hit feedback sound effect. The shifting ability is confusing at first since you have to do it near the crystal, but the game told the button to do it at the start of the game instead of the first crystal. The battle music is a bit off in my opinion. Animation is satisfying.
Good job on the game.
I loved the art style and music, sprite animations were lovely, and it reminded me of a great metroidvania (like maybe Blasphemous, with its eerie, medieval goth atmosphere.) I was a little confused about interacting with thing, because 'e' brought up empty text boxes. Also, were those dudes with swords enemies? I couldn't fight them. But this feels like the beginning of a very cool project, if you keep working on it.
Thanks for playing :) The empty boxes are a bit weird, there should be text in them. Could be a new bug, I'll look into it.
The sword dudes are friendly. Eventually I want to give the player the option to aggro them, but for now you just talk to them. The first one gives you the key to the chest, so you can't open it before talking to him.
Good base for future project, keep working on it, I am looking forward for the future version.
Smooth movement and attack animation, controls felt like they'd be really easy once it's finished out. I'd be interested to see where it goes from here!
This felt like a really nice basis for a future project. Nice music selection and overall cohesion for using asset packs. Excellent work!
Really bad footsteps sounds, too loud, like that guy walked on my ears.
Really enjoyed the music battle, thought, it was unexpected, and emphasize dimensional shift - good work! And lighting, even without normalmaps, make the picture better. Cheers for parallax!
Very nice and fun to play. I liked the eerie atmosphere. Continue with it, it has great potential.
Great job doing this solo! I really like the aesthetics and the music goes well with it. I like where you were going with this and really wish there was more to the game, but I understand about the time limit.
