Hello, first of all, I'd like to say thank you so much for making this as for I made a video game out of it: "Starship Invasion by rubsz (itch.io)". Your assets very much made me make this game a breeze. Hopefully some more additions maybe haha.
That said, so far the community has decided that the collection focuses more on fantasy themes. But the option for having more of this type of content is always open :)
Like all your assets these look amazing, but can they actually be used commercially? It's extremely obvious they are based on Warhammer 40k and Space Marines, Imperial Guard and Genestealers to the point Games Workshop could argue they are copied, and GW tends to take their IPs very seriously.
Thanks for reaching out, I totally understand your concerns. From what I understand, you should be ok as long as you don't include any trademarks, registered names, or places in your game, or mislead anyone into thinking your game is an official product of a specific franchise.
The asset pack is inspired by dark sci-fi, and reflects the pop culture interpretation of this genre's tropes, but in the characteristic artistic style of Minifantasy.
Given that your intention is to craft your own story set in your own universe, I believe you shouldn't encounter any issues. But remember, I'm not a lawyer and my knowledge doesn't cover all the legal aspects from every country. If you think that your project might raise questions or concerns, it's always a good idea to get some professional advice to make sure you're on the safe side.

Hi, I bought this today, but I'm getting a bunch of errors that files are corrupt. For example, SpaceWarriorDieShadow.png, SpaceSargentDieShadow.png, and most of the GIFs.
I tried the zip version and everything worked fine in there. The rar ones still had the problem when I retried everything. I'm all set now though. Thanks for responding!

I made a face Animation for an "ChatSystem" or stuff. You can add it into your Asset or Let it sit here for Download for others I Offer it as CC0 to you - and everyone who wants it :) I used the Colors of your Assets to fit them nicely :) Scale: 8x8 5 Frames per animation - again - Thanks for your awesome work!

I could hand you the aseprite files if you want, but I have to tell you that you will hardly see any differences with the png files as they are basically identical. I work directly in the sprite sheets as you see in the pngs, so if you are looking for an aseprite file with all the character animations separated by different tags, unfortunately I don't have it.

Minifantasy is a community-driven project, so I don’t really decide myself what the next asset pack (or Patreon exclusive content) will be about.
The way it works is:

Did you try to remove the folder from your machine and unzip it again? If that doesn't work, try to download the zip again from Itch.
I have just downloaded it myself and I'm not getting any errors, so I think it was probably a file extraction or download issue.
Please let me know if some of the above has helped you to solve the problem.
