Cheering The Captain

This week I focused on the quest, as mentioned previously. Most of the gameplay is finished, but I need to write some dialogues/ending and whatnot. Plus, I still need to figure out what I want to change for the different paths (I have two possible starts, depending on whether or not you got stuck with Marintas's charm). The core should be the same, but I wanted a couple of differences in there.

I also wrote a new scene with Gabriel, so cheerleaders who are into him can get some action with him. I also fixed a bug with his scenes (new saves could trigger all scenes at once, which caused other problems as well) and changed a little his path, so you can refuse him when he asks if you want to start dating.

I got covid again, but I am not doing TOO bad. I don't think I lost too much time over the weekend, but we'll see if I need to delay the release a tiny bit.

Speaking of which, I should get the game to the testers this weekend. For this week I'll try to write the scenes I mentioned last time (so orc village and Marjorie), finish the quest, and then I'll get working on anything that might be included to the update.

Release date should be monday at the earliest, but let's say wednsday just to be safe. That, as they say, is it. I don't think I am forgetting something, but if I am we'll blame it on me being sick. Until next time! ^_^

this game has to be easily the most largest and complex rpg ever at this point , it already was when i played it 2 years ago , i hope you get to continue to make games after your done with caliross ,

Thanks! I wish I had paced things better (development should have been finished a while ago already), but at least I am happy with the game itself.  A new game is already in the works (early stages at this point), and I hope I'll be able to go on for several years (I do have what I think are good ideas and plots for many games, so my main problem is finding the time to work on them).

well considering the impeccable story and ways to play of caliross , i highly doubt you could make a bad game if you tried lol

Never underestimate the human ability to disappoint! :^
Jokes aside, I wish I could clone myself, and work on multiple projects at the same time. I have some ideas people would really enjoy, I think, but every game takes several years, so it's a long wait.

i would volunteer to help if i could , but im to ill to be reliable and plus my coding skills is marginal at best xD

XD Thanks. Well, it's not as if I am a good programmer either, I just do whatever is needed to get things done. I am not even sure I'd be able to delegate effectively, I am too used to doing almost everything by myself.
