i cant play the game for some reason when i try to download it and start the game it just freezes and crashes or if i try to download on gamejolt it wont work can anyone pls tell me how do i play it
Hey! So, I was looking through the files and was confused when I saw the OVRPlugin in there. Is there a reason why, or was that just left over from, like, testing. The main reason I'm curious is because if it is for VR support that would be so cool. (Sorry for re upload I accidentally just typed "C" the first time lol}
That was leftover from way back in it's development but was never used. Never got a chance to truly test VR for it unfortunately. Most of my games actually do have that plugin, but was never truly used. A shame cause I would honestly love to explore the possibility of making VR games or older games be VR compatible. That's something I'll have to explore more in the future!

Somehow your save file must've gotten corrupted. I've seen this happen to a few people who only just fresh installed the game and I've no idea how it happens. But if you go to your Appdata\Local\AtC_BB\Saved\SaveGames folder and delete the .sav file, next time you boot up the game it should create a fresh save file and solve the issue. If you don't know how to get to your appdata folder, type %appdata% in your search bar and it should pop up.
The game folder should be called Around the Clock at Bikini Bottom (V1.1.0) (64 Bit) assuming that's the version of the game you have. The game folder should be stored wherever you downloaded and left it in, whether that be your downloads folder or some other folder you had chosen. Hope this helps!
I've seen a few people run into this. It has to do with newer graphics cards having some sort of issue with games that use older versions of UE4. There is a permanent solution out there, but I forgot what it is. The easiest but temporary solution is to disable your internet on your PC before launching the game, and apparently that fixes the issue. Tho you'll have to do that every time you launch the game. X_X
Amazing work dave! I replayed this game after years and even though it is sort of dead, it is just as fun as it was back in 2021! Keep up the great work man!

The file path should be Appdata\Local\AtC_BB\Saved\SaveGames and you'll find your .sav in there. If you don't know how to get to your appdata, type %appdata% in your search bar.
i know how to get on appdata but when i go i dont see the local atc bb saved saves games folder also i copied the entire folder name and i dont get nothing
You might be in the wrong place? When you open appdata, it'll take you to Appdata/Roaming. You need to backtrack to just the Appdata folder and there you'll find your Local folder.

P.S: I tried playing it on Windows 11, but it always says Fatal Error and crash.
I'm gonna have to wait until 2025 to play it on Windows 11...

INCREDIBLE GAME! But im having issues with crashing and if this game gets a sequel or update im the first to play it!
I've gotten to 2am, and here's what/why I believe the difficulties should be:
Glove World (9pm): Medium (the tunnel of glove is hell)
Squidward's Monument (10pm): Intense (Big Lenny, as far as I know, has no memorizable pattern and is quite frustrating)
SpongeBob's pineapple (10pm): Medium (the only random part is DoodlePatrick)
Patrick's Rock (10pm): Medium (The parkour is janky, but doable)
3421 Anchor Way (10pm): Easy (literally a snooze)
Barg'N-Mart (11pm): Easy (reminds me of pac-man, but maybe make it harder with the hitcount going from 3 to 2)
Tentacle Acres (11pm): Medium (not hard once you learn how to click)
Mrs. Puff's Boating School (12am): Medium (Mrs. Puff is somehow blind to you hiding in a corner when she sweeps or whatever it is.)
Goofy Goober's (1am): Intense (the peanut always shows up RIGHT when I begin pouring and the big green dude is kinda annoying)
Mermalair (2am): No clue, haven't beaten
Sorry for long post, I just like sharing my opinions.
For when you reach 8am (Sandy's Treedome) after 4 suff fr the flamethorower sandy will come out outside. this was kinda random but i figured u need it

the game is so fun but i raged so hard on dirty bubble battle it took me an hour i beat the game tho 10/10 keep up the good work dave.

In order to Play ATC you just have turn off the internet.
I JUST FOUND IT IF YOUR GAME CRASHES EVERY 20 0R 30 SECS ON ATC USE THIS TO FIX THE GAME
Calm down. Dave's not updating the game anymore so you should do your own research on this crash. It works on Windows 11 for me.
