Bruh what about mobile players

Do you intend to release the public version of 2.5? If so, do you have a scheduled date?

Hello dev and everyone. Can you help me, please? I buy game in Steam, but I don't understand how to turn on cheats on a Steam version of the game (on PC ver. 2.0.8).

Is it chang in "preference" or where? Cuz I didn't know.

Its in the status menu, the last tab there. "Settings".

This assumes I enabled cheats on Steam (not sure why I wouldn't, but I am fairly sure it's there).

Unfortunately, I don't see there anything, except "NSFW mode".

Is it bug?

No, it's possible that I just left it as a feature for paid versions of the game. If you're playing on Steam then that's a free version.

Is the game still being updated

(+1)

Yes, you can check discord or Patreon for the latest project news.

Another way to verify is to look at the "more information" tab, the Last update was 77 days ago, so yes, when it gets abandoned it will show on the tab something like "8 months ago" or even years

It seems that the apk can't be installed on android due to it being over 2GB in file size.I suggest to split version 9 into 1GB by 1GB to install on Android phones

ni me carga el juego cuando lo instalo .-.

Yk, you should probably remove the paid Android version till you figure out how to fix the 2GB max size issue, because if someone buys the Android version without knowing it, they might think that they were scammed due to it not getting installed and will probably rapidly asking you things.

Yo, where’d you get your music from

Internet

It seems that the apk can't be installed on android due to it being over 2GB in file size, is there a way for me to install it anyways? Or is the only option to switch to third party/windows?

I'm sure there are others, but I don't know of any at current. I'm currently looking into fixing this problem though.

use the apk plus extra file methord this overcomes its and no size limit

That's interesting, however - I don't know much about it so I'd have to research it.

Hio, I'v been trying to figure out how to fix this problem. From what iv found any apk over 2gb will fail due to some technological thing. The phones will simply stop the download. They ways to get around this is

1. Make the files more compresses/ resize file to make them smaller/ remove files to make it smaller.

2. Use a file spliter that requires the app to be put together by another aplication when it's installing.  (Does not always work).

3. Make a smaller file and then have updates that can be installed over older versions.  Since an older smaller files is present the files almost always downloads it as an update.

4. Have an in App way to download more information into the app through the internet.

I would like to do version 3. I'll try looking into creating / utilizing a game updater for mobile. Do you have any suggestions where I could get started in that regard?

Apk appears to be invalid

Hello,
The apk won't run due to security settings for Android. You will need a 3rd party program to run it, or you'd have to play via PC or Mac.

Aww that's a shame :/ I play all my games on android. I'll try windows for this one.

I belive the size being more than 2 gb is the issue

Android has 2 gb apk limit you have to compress the images

You're correct!
It's a security feature to prevent files of a certain size from running. However, the images are already compressed. To do so any further would cause them to degrade in quality.

android high resolution is not needed due to small screeen size so you can try other than lossless compression or the break for that is apk + file  so size will not be issue

Or you can turn on developer mode on your android device, in my opinion this is better because you can play around with a lot of new features and don’t need a shitty 3rd party app.

if you are on phone/tablet you must go into settings and find the (Build Number) if you have trouble google it. then just tap your build number 5-10 times or until it says dev mode is on.

for ChromeBook it is a little bit more complicated so I’m sure you can find a YT vid about it.

What settings must you activate on Dev Options in order to do this?

Depends on what device you are using, it is different for each one.

I just purchased the game, after finishing installation it's says: "App appears invalid"?!

That is so much information to go off of thank you, here is the solution to your problem. step one, what device are you playing on. step two, try multiple ways of installing. Step three, Don’t use a 3rd party app. Step four, if on ChromeBook Use the terminal to install. If all else fails, give up and go home, It just wasn’t meant to be.

Ok. I am having a problem. I tried downloading the public version for PC, but it says that the zipped folder is empty and I can't extract it. Was this some April Fools' prank orr..

I'll check it out (I think we spoke via discord), but most likely I will just update the public version in a day or two with version 2.0.9. It contains a boatload of improvement, fixes and QOL improvements.

I installed 2.0.8 PC and I can't talk to Mai in the hut after the spying on the green enemy in the forest

figured it out

Oh, somehow I missed this. Glad you sorted it out though. I think I've fixed that particular issue in the coming update.

I've tried installing

HPC 2.0.8 {Android} version, but it keeps saying "App not installed since package seem to be invalid". Public version seems to be working.

I have the same problem...from what I read it is because the .apk is over 2GB and almost every android device has upper limit for installing .apk set as 2GB...from what I heard some devices have not this problem, but it could be that the manufacturer of the divice got rid of this limitation (but I might be wrong in this assumption)

How do you fix that

All android devices have a 2GB limit for apk’s but you can change that limit by going into your developer settings. you can not change this limit if you are useing a 3rd party service. on ChromeBook it is much simpler to change the limit, just simply change your linux storage, it sets it to 5GB default and will ask you to change it on set up. on phone/tablet it is more complex. do not come back to me for help, I just hate how everyone does not know how to use Android. It’s not that hard, like how old are you? 60?
