about to replay this game after a year or two, i just finished 0.6 of eternum and decided id go through this with a walkthrough. Before i go just wanted to say im happy for you caribdis since you got all the love and support you deserve. OIAL was the first avn i ever played and it set my standards so high i barely find anything to play outside of your work. Seriously, stop being so damn good at making games.
Knightley passions , Android life , Randel tales , Shuggerlain, Terrene , Dream Scape by dummy delta , Naruto :Shinobi Lord and Space paws are also amazing games.
Just finished this one and am already waiting for the next patch in Eternum. And I very much hope to see further of some of the characters, as I suppose the "Best" ending is the canon ending for the game itself. I notice several other characters from other games that did seem to find their way into the game. I believe I even by chance saw a Darci model from Ripples. Though she could by chance be used for several other games and novels a well, so I have no idea if by chance that her within one scene of the game in the background of the store was.
Spoilers Past this point
I will say, I am however more surprised not a single person mentions the fun prospect of certain characters if you take the Astaroth ending and corrupt both the girls. It would be interesting if by chance we might get a further update of the game as some point with perhaps a further small storyline into how the girls themselves might have turned out if you take the ending. As well with how the world itself might be reshaped by the MC as Astaroth now.
It honest it could be a small project to take up and create a further continuation of the story from a darker side. Which from the looks Eternum already has some dark story elements within itself as well, so it wouldn't be new area to explore into. Though given I don't believe this project has been touched in two years now, I believe that's not likely to happen unfortunately.
I however enjoy the game and do plan to play another playthrough of it soon and am Looking forward to the next chapter of Eternum when it finally releases.
Caribdis don't miss, seriously. One of the if not the best visual novels I played ever. story 10/10, characters 10/10, Even the for the music they don't miss. I finished it today and I am so fucking sad I got the single-girl ending because I didn’t fucking freed Mike at the prison. I knew I was doing something wrong but the flow of the game was so good I forgot, everything went as normal.
Sigh, I came back and replayed the game with a walkthrough, my only mistakes were not freeing Mike and getting the first “potion” instead of the aphrodisiac. Unfortunately somethings can only happen Once in a Lifetime, so it felt a bit fake.

Hi, no offense but it seems like you haven't played a lot of adult games. Summertime Saga and Once in a Lifetime belong to different genres. As you already mentioned, Summertime Saga focuses on freedom and variety while Once in a Lifetime focuses on story. It's intended this way. Both games are very popular in their respective genres!
You should also know that this is a completed game and any major improvements you suggest are most likely not going to happen.
Okay, so I was sucked into the story and kept playing until I finished the game. This is the perfect amount of seriousness and comedy that gives the caricatures depth as well as proper character arcs. This continues into the execution of the explicit scenes that you can have with the girls in that (if you turn the option on) you can impregnate the girls and this will have story repercussions. Also while on the subject of the explicit scenes they don't feel forced in, unlike some other 18+ visual novels that I played. In terms of this writing, it's one of the best I played there as this is a story with erotica rather than the more common erotica with, very little, story.
The only issues I have with the game are that: 1. the Gallery is inaccessible from the Main Menu/Title screen, and 2. many of the minor or background characters you'll see use the same general character design with very minor changes to the model textures, which makes it hard to tell if they are foreshadowing by characters being in the same space or if it's just someone else entirely.
But even with those two shortcomings, I would still give this game a perfect 10/10.

I couldn't help it. There are times when a movie or a book leaves you feeling empty when you finish it. That mixes both joy and sadness in a single feeling. When that happens, it is that it has managed to penetrate deeply into the soul. The story is magnificent. There is no other way to describe it. As said, the background, the emotions, the character development and even the sense of humor... EVERYTHING is measured and included perfectly. The game, or rather the story, goes far beyond a simple erotic game. The emotions when achieving things, or the laughter provoked by some event placed subtly but skilfully... And the perfect music at every moment. I can only praise the excellent work done. A pity that it ends, as they always say. I wish you a great future and above all, thank you for this.

I went though the whole game twice and couldn't figure it out. Had to follow the walkthrough to the letter and was able to be successful that way. Prob means you'll have to start over but its worth it. Thats what the Skip button is for. lol
If you disable it, pregnancy and contraception won't be brought up by the game at all. If you enable it, girls can get pregnant. There are no additional lewds but a few extra scenes amounting to ~20 minutes of additional gameplay. It's for those who want to build a family with their girls.
Usually visual novel h-games are just pump and dump. Just a quick backstory then to the "climax" and done. However, this game (and it's spin-off Eternum, which is still in development), is a huge exception to that. I found myself drawn to the characters, not because they're hot (but it did help), but because of the characters in which you root for in the game. It sets up a backstory, and does bit of character development before you do the sex stuff, eventhough that sounds boring, the intriguing mystery noir plot keeps the game going along with the comedic moments that happens. Caribdis is an amazing story teller, which seems like a rarity nowadays, especially in the visual novel h-game scene!
When I played this game for the first time I ended up playing alongside a walkthrough because it's a long game and I didn't want to miss anything. I had a great time but the walkthrough made everything feel more gamey and less immersive.

I dont understand why i lost the path. For Judie i lost her path at the church were you practice kissing with here. Same for Lauren on the train for for the airport. Is there a reason why?
At the pool there is a scene that can happen with Judie and if you miss it then the kiss scene ends up going bad instead of going further as for Loren all I can think of is maybe you didn't choose to check out the hotel room before getting on the train
SPOILERS: You need eight points with her and not fail the massage. I lost her path because I didn't befriend the bouncer at Jasmine's party which is an obscure way to gain points.
when i enter the gallery and view the bottom middle scene and then the bottom right scene on the first page and click return it takes me to a scene i have not encountered before and if i watch through the entire scene clicking ignore whenever the error shows up if i click return again it shows me a different scene and unlocks the scene i just saw
Woah, sounds crazy. If you fix the error you posted earlier, this might get fixed too. If not, you can try to reproduce it and report back if you wish.

I want to play this after finishing eternum, however, whenever i upload the exe file to virustotal, it shows up as malware, specifically trojan

You don't need to do a full restart. Check out the walkthrough, page 19, red text, that's all you need.
