Condolences, I solidly believe the game should always come second to the life you have to live. I hope things sort out in the end and that you get the time and/or space you need to process everything emotionally rather than just bureaucratical. Thank you for the updates though, it's nice to have a window into what's going on and helps know the goal is still there.

Hello Runey, thank you for sharing this with us. My condolences. May your father be well, wherever he is now. I wish you a lot of strength to get through these difficult times. My father also died a few years ago. I guess all you can do is take one step at a time. Everyone probably has to find their own way of dealing with it, but I am a Buddhist and what helped me with my father was the idea that energy is not lost. At some point, the body is used up and the consciousness seeks a new form. I imagined my father was on a trip. In the apartment, I have a photo of him on the altar and in the hallway. I think about him a lot. I say hello and bye to him, good morning and good night. He lives on in my thoughts and in my heart. Take your time with the updates and have a good trip to Europe! My condolences. I experienced similar thing back then. I could only imagine how many bureaucratic things you have to deal with in your region, I know for a fact in my region that it was soul-draining and time consuming as we had to run all over the place to get everything done.
