The system will prompt an error because the material cannot be found, if you skip the error, you will find that no one is sitting on the bed, but there is normal dialog text.
It's kinda out of the way. You have to beat the Mindflayer jerk as Celica after kicking his ass as Faylen.
After following the hunter lady's questline enough you unlock a dungeon in the swamp area run by a shady creepy guy. Return when possessing Faylen and use her staff skill to reveal himself as a mindflayer. Proceed to fight him (you'll want to fully level up Faylen beforehand).
After the fight you will get a ring shaped like a squid. Cna't recall if you get it automatically or you check the dungeon area afterwards.
Wear the ring in the swamps as Celecia and you'll eventually encounter a grey octopus thing. Let it take control of you until the special status effect meter maxes out. It'll bring you to the Mindflayer for a boss battle as Celecia.
My advice is to bring plenty of health, magic and anti confusion potions since it is a very tough fight. Win and he'll drop the AOE dark spell.
How do we find the 11th and 12th character? (total events 71/72 secret events 71/75 all other character a 100% except nel who is missing the last event.) You mention in another comment some ice armor that I don't have in order to find the 12th character I supposed its related with 11th one...

In the Quests Tab, as of v0.65, there are 13 Character Event lines. Who is the twelfth Character? Also, the eleventh Character is at (3/5) events, but the rest of my Events are 71/72 and 74/75, which doesn't add up if there are more than 0 Events with the twelfth Character. Any assistance is appreciated.
I thought the same. The visit and talk with the "maid" sets a background flag that triggers a later event, as well as opens a new area in the town at its conclusion.
So it turns out there are mimics in this game... and with how the combat works, it is almost unwinnable based on rng. I am level 72 and just starting the desert where I found 2 of them. Both game over. The first I was curious what the arouse stuff would look like, it was meh. The second time I actually tried to beat it, had potions made just in case and everything. I got it to almost half health then it took 4 turns in a row, forcing me to heal, then it attacked, grabbed, wasted my turn to struggle it off, then repeated until I died. The fact that you can get caught in an infinite loop with encounters because the struggle just eats your entire turn is fucked for this exact reason. Already had a situation where I spent 40 minutes in a loop with the weird demon octo's in the marsh, but the mimic is just to strong for this to be excused. Level 72 and it still chunks me for 326 each hit, and it takes 2 - 4+ turns before I can do a single turn.
The Mimic's level scales with Celica, so even having companions with isn't advantageous unless their levels are close (everyone should be able to hit the 80 cap). It is also ridiculously fast, so having a Speed of 50+ helps tremendously.
EDIT: Letting Nel power level you (and potentially two party members) also has the advantage of never encountering a Mimic.
imo having Nel encounter the mimic would at least semi balance it :/ she literally regenerates both health and mana mid fight. She also seems to have a much higher chance of just breaking out of being grabbed, and has a speed bonus. Because hot damn does Nel get a lot of bonus stuff we just don't get >_> seriously, the number of times she auto breaks out and attacks same turn is much higher than I get. And I run relatively high will and even wear that one item for the increased struggle chance. Regardless, if the mimic scales to Celica's level for damage, fine. But it shouldn't be able to just lock you into a death combo of attack then grab =_= let alone sometimes just choosing to go 4 attacks before you get 1
Сeliсa as a ghost and Сeliсa in the body of Faylen can offer Glace in Celica's body to go fight monsters. Trying to talk to Candy after that causes CTD.
After Nel takes Celica's body back, Glace disappears.

Hey, I'm having a problem with taking to guys about the ghost pirate ship, but i all ready finished all of the other stuff and I don't know if I'm supposed to bring some with you when telling the prince that you are finish getting rid of the ghost ship with that part of the quest
What stage of the quest are you at? You should not need to bring anything to them. They will automatically acknowledge the Ghost Ship is off their shore and will indicate a location of interest to you.

Seriously, a fusion list at bare minimum would be nice. Alternatively, if anyone knows if you are only supposed to lose to Nel or the Slime? I want to see if beating them enough would do something, but it is honestly tedious as fuck with no reward and decreases the bond... also curious about other NPC related scenes, but mostly curious about those 2 since they have a lot of bond to fill in.
I have the book but like... I know damn well I still have stuff that can be fused and it doesn't list them in the book :/

So, the thing about the book, it only shows "new" stuff if you are holding an upgrade material like gold. But the way it does this is by doing ????? For the name then gold + ????? For the recipe under the name. I already know there are things I can upgrade, but those really do not help me make sure I got the ones I want if I don't know if I'm missing something. Hell, I wouldn't have thought to upgrade the loot finder if I hadn't seen a comment about it >_> and even then, I still wonder if there was a better option to use the silver on. Just like I am currently wondering what I should upgrade with the thing after gold.
Oh, for those, you can generally upgrade all of the equipment that boost your stats like the arcane ring that boosts damage as long as they look like they are made of metal. You should be able to collect the necessary metals to upgrade all of your equipment. The current upgrade path is x -> silver -> gold -> mithril. I recommend upgrading the loot finder and then the things that are important for damage. Maximizing resource collection and damage output speeds up the grind I find.
Hey I have a question I'm with the ghost captain, I'd like to know how to move forward with her because in the tavern it tells me that I must find a way to go on the bate?
So I just started playing on Android using a Galaxy S22 Ultra and the game was nice at the start. I'm unsure what's causing it, but it almost feels like it's causing a memory leak or something similar. Especially during combat, each round can take upwards of whole minutes because of how badly it slows down to process what's going on. It almost feels like it's trying to process more than it should, since the last turns can sometimes freeze mid animation while it tries to calculate lost gained, willpower lost, and gods forbid if I'm poisoned or something else it seems to take longer. I have it set for performance, disabled animated backgrounds, and it's set to conserve memory.
It lags on my computer too (though it is getting old, 6 years old) but only slightly. It seems to be that the modifications to ren'py is very intensive for the computer.
Gotcha, it has thankfully not been to bad, but it does still have moments and periods where it just slows down. Its really noticeable if I just do Nel runs back to back XD
Health potions to boost yourself when you health is low and mana potions when your mana is low. The plan is to sustain the battle of attrition as the fire golem does have a lot of health.
I'm switching computers and don't want to lose my save data on the game. Could you tell me where the game data stored so I can transfer it? Great game!
You will need to explore the beach and fight jellyfish monsters. You will find a treasure, an empty lantern to fuse with the light crystal sold at the alchemy shop.

I'm not Deimus, but Patreon is usually a monthly payment service. It lasts for the month you pay and you get access to the current Patreon build for ToM forever (not future Patreon builds unless a new Patreon build comes out that month). There might be a yearly option but I am not certain.
Progress is not lost. You can load your save and continue where you left off in the next version. To maximize compatibility, ensure you have a save at the beginning of the day ( as soon as Celica wakes up). If a save does not lead, you can try loading a quicksave (found in the Q section of the loading screen)

Try to load it and see if it works. If it does not, try an older version, save that save, and try the newer versions.
Always save at the beginning of the day. (As soon as Celica wakes up).
If a save doesn't work, use a quick save. (Q section on loading screen)

There is a fusion list in game though it mostly give hints to one of the ingredient.
For Nel and the slime, it is mainly letting them work with your body or be with you.
For a Town of Magic wiki, that would definitely be a fine thing to be created.

Stock up on potions and use spells that the golem is weak against like water, wind, and dark damage if I recall correctly.
What potions should i use?
Health potions to boost yourself when you health is low and mana potions when your mana is low. The plan is to sustain the battle of attrition as the fire golem does have a lot of health.

The gold membership version on Patreon has cheats. Nel does make grinding more enjoyable though.
Faster rather than enjoyable imo lol. Seriously, she has perks that would make grinding super fast n easy... specifically her regen stuff lol

how to win fight with big slime
The boss will get much easier if you are at least level 7. Here are some more tips:
- You can choose not to fight the enemy. It will postpone the fight. That way, you can level up and fight him later.
- You can also equip the arcane ring to make your magic stronger.
- When fighting the enemy, focus on targeting and damaging the boss, not the smaller slimes.
- The enemy's weakness is lightning, so that spell does more damage.
- You can create magic and health potions and take them with you in battle.
