Dang, even if I bought this on aesthetic alone I would not be disappointed. This is GORGEOUS. The layouts are incredible. Adam has such a great eye for design, I want to hang half of these pages on my walls.
Thematically there's some interesting meat on these very visceral bones. Portal Witches, for example, are INTERESTING. The book gives you enough flavour to know what's going on without drowning you in lore.
Mechanically this feels simple enough to jump into, while being well realized enough to not get tiresome.
I'm all in. I love this, and I'm so glad I backed it for ZiMo 2023.
