Alright, so I feel like I owe this game another review now that I've played it for more than about an hour or so and my last review was pretty much just me being an opinionated shite. That said I'm not sure if the devs give a piss about my opinions anymore, but maybe you, the player, will just in case you go into this game with the same mentality that I did. Please note that I have not finished the game just yet, but I'm far enough in to know this is a good game that is worth playing. I don't want to get too spoiler-y so this is going to be more of a general review than anything.
So what bothered me the most in my last review was pretty much all the cartoonish randomness that happens in the prologue. After playing the game as a whole it feels to me now like the devs were trying to fit too much backstory into as tiny a space as possibly and ended up coming out as kinda a mess. I still think that the devs assuring the player that the game gets better the longer you stick with it so much is not a good look, it doesn't inspire confidence in the game. This could be fixed with just one developer not at the beginning saying something like "Hey, we know the prologue is pretty wild, but it's designed to be that way and has no bearing on the rest of the game." That being said, you shouldn't skip out on it because their is a bit of context in it that make other scenes in the future make a bit more sense.
If you manage to endure that first 3% of the game then you'll find the next 97% is actually a very well thought out story, and the main character is a big part of that. At first I just really didn't like the MC because he seemed like a walking contradiction, but the fact of the matter is he's a fucked up dude with a fucked up life in a fucked up situation. He's still not a shining example of what makes a good MC, but he's also not designed to be. He's compassionate towards the people he cares about and has understandable, and at times enjoyable, bouts of apathy towards people that piss him off. It's actually pretty satisfying watching him turn from a sniveling little worm into someone strong and confident. He still has flaws, but it's those flaws that manage to make him seem relateable as well.
There are a few flaws in the story telling, mostly the world building in my opinion, but most of those are actually addressed in a satisfying way. Accept for the college. This isn't a thing about the devs, more of a thing in general. I get the idea well enough, you want to have the high school aesthetic but you can't actually make anyone underaged so you call it a college. It's just that I don't know about or have heard of any college that has a mandatory uniform. It's a little jarring and immersion breaking whenever I see it, but I like say, it's not the dev's fault, it's a legal thing.
One piece of advise I can give you, the player, about the game in general is that you shouldn't focus on any one girl at a time. Progression works best when you broaden your horizons, not just because things are locked off by other characters, but once the main story starts to progress it can be a little jarring when some characters that you haven't spent much time on start talking to you like you've been speaking on a regular basis. This is something I think the dev's could improve on something, but since it's more of a progression issue and not exactly a story one I wouldn't know how exactly to go about it without just making more work.
Alright, there's my new review. I haven't hit any major forks in the road yet, but I'm definitely excited to see how things go once I get there.
Also, more Officer <Your Name> content please? I dunno if there's anymore or not at this point, but I honestly thought that was an interesting development and it could go in a pretty fun direction!
I apologize but I don't really have the time to answer in full at the moment as I'm way too deep into developing 0.14 and will be busy for that for quite a while since the new update has to be ready in about 3-ish weeks and it's a looooot of work.
The prologue might get some extra work in the future though it's already been done about a year ago. It's mainly there to give the characters an introduction, tells who they are and have multiple hints that will majorly develop through the course of the story. It's been quite controversial from the start so for me, nothing new there.
Inconsistencies in the story will always get fixed as soon as we become aware of them. It's not easy juggling 450+ events with quite a few different characters/storylines. We do our best, but feel free to let us know through Discord or whatever when something is off.
I'm always happy to hear opinions either good or bad but to be fair, you've played 3% of the game and you didn't like it and it showed in your post. That's fine as the game might not be for everyone. Lewd Town Adventures has been around for 2.5 years, it's doing pretty damn good, and I know that for certain players the early game is not the strongest, heck, some might dislike everything about the game. There are however many fans that do like the game for what it is, a game with many fetishes that are optional, an adult game with adult subjects that can be funny, but also really dark. Of course the game somewhat uses porn logic, especially at the start because that was when I was still learning. Over time changes have been made, more will come.
Criticism is always accepted but if one only plays a very small portion of the game and writes wall of text basically saying "I don't like x or x and now I'm not sure if I want to continue the game.". I can't really do much with that, besides you're not the first one to dislike the prologue, saying it should be skipped all together is not criticism but more of an opinion which some might agree on, others not.
This is a game in development and we make loads of changes based on feedback, we improve the game on every major update, we create polls where players can vote on what will be implemented next, we remake/change outdated scenes (for example, the prologue you mentioned), implement qol changes and a ton of other stuff.
So yeah, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm not saying I'm right, but we absolutely do have a very different view on Lewd Town Adventures. I'd recommend to complete the game first to get a better understanding of what we've tried to do, if not feel free to check out other games and maybe give this game another try in the future. Sadly, not every game will appeal to everyone although we've done our best.
In complete support of my boss here... How can someone judge a 2.5 hour film from 10 seconds of a teaser trailer? Especially if that trailer has very little in common with the brunt of the plot or story being told?
How can you judge an entire 7-season show (100 episodes or more) from just the first 10 minutes of the pilot episode, which has likely not been completely refined and is missing the majority of the cast?
In that same way, judging an entire game simply from the prologue or first 30 minutes of gameplay - while sometimes valid - holds minimal constructive criticism that would be relevant to the whole.
We appreciate opinions, feedback, criticism. Not everyone likes everything. If the game isn't for you, that's fine. But claiming it's a complete waste of time from less than 3% of the content? Sorry, that's just not adequate enough to get a sense of how the game plays out or what happens to the 40+ different characters (almost all of whom do not appear in the prologue).
You do have the right to feel it's not a game worth your time. Go find something that is. It's all good here. Like this game, and like many things in life - try not to take it personally or too seriously.
It's most likely 0.13 or 0.13.1, which had a minor bug that - if you completed Day 120 university corruption event - it locked out the other character events that precede Day 120.
2 options:
1 - find a save prior to university corruption event (before sleeping in MC house) and don't sleep there until the events are all to Day 120 or later in the tasks.
2 - Join our Discord and send Jamleng your save file. He can manually reset the University corruption events so you can get to the locked out events listed prior to Day 120.
This was fixed in 0.13.2, FYI but if you have completed the Day 120 University Corruption, then any character in the corrupted university will have all their other events locked unless you do one of the 2 steps above...

Next update will make it way smoother because the journal will get quite of an update. Overall though, For the smoothest playthrough, complete quests starting with the lowest day listed in the journal. Ignoring certain characters will put in a block on certain quests.

I came to the "adult games" or mostly eroge starting with Katawa Shoujo. Gosh who would have thought i got hooked onto KS plot so hard the R18 part is just a plus to the story. Felt so emotional after finished the game (╥_╥). LTA lowkey remind me this feeling about it. Now i came to eroge for the plot mostly. Yes the actual plot not that kinda "plot". Why eroge? FYI - everything in the folders on the computer is NON CANON to the story unless it is later added to the game. So as far as "cuck" or "NTR" stuff - that will remain exclusively on the dark path, which becomes a choice around 69 days into gameplay (depending on how quickly and efficiently you proceed through the story events).

There is no "weird anti-trans stuff" in the game. Possibly a few stereotypes here and there for many different characters as the game has quite a high volume of parody/satire. Speaking for myself, I couldn't care less about how others lead their lives as I simply I wish for everyone to be happy no matter who they are, where they're from, what they do. 0.13/0.13.1/0.13.2 have a ton of new events. Leading up to the end of "Chapter 2" (which began when the Boss arrived around Day 69). 0.13.1 and 0.13.2 have some bug fixes, mainly, over 0.13, FYI.

I always test the game before release and I personally don't suffer from any issues.
With the recent update, it should run smoother on Android systems. A restart may be required though. The game is quite animation heavy but that shouldn't cause any lag whatsoever. Aside from that, it's a port similar to all other Renpy games on this platform.
Sadly, I don't have any proper solutions to the problem.
Dark includes darker events happening to girls around you as the MC slowly becomes more selfish and corrupted. Kinks include BDSM, gangbangs, and avoidable NTR (sharing them with other men with or without your consent)
Good includes more positive events, with more focus on harem-building and love. Kinks include impregnation, mild and wild kinky sex, and becoming a father.
Choosing Dark keeps you loyal to the Boss and the organization. More women join the organization.
Choosing Good allows you to save girls and reverse darker things you may have done early-game.
There are also neutral characters who can be corrupted or kept out of it all.
Depending on the choices marked "DARK" or not, some people will be taken from the safety of their home or possibly be brought out of the organization.
Am stuck at a part where most characters tell me to wait to meet the boss and the other characters are just telling me to complete other quests first, am pretty sure I met the boss at night and since then nothing has progressed.
If you experience any issues, check your game version number (the downloaded zip/apk will list the version number). If it says 0.13, try re-downloading 0.13.1.
It would be good if at the end of the last content of the current update a route line was unlocked so that we could see what the good and bad decisions were. Am I the only one who thinks so?

I thought it was odd how many warnings there were until I watched the "Patreon" video, now I understand and I am sorry that happened to you guys. Believe it or not - many of the backstory events did legit happen to either me or Jamleng - if not both of us. Our goal has always been to dig deep and pull emotions out as naturally as we can through storytelling and imagery. Glad to see you're enjoying it. So much more emotion and twists on the horizon...
While we would love to, and it would definitely enhance the experience...
Logistically, we'd need a minimum of 10 variations with different styles of sounds to match the huge variety of sex-acts in the game.
This requires us to either:
Pay some voice actors a lot of money for the rights to their performances.
Buy some pre-existing audio clips. - or -
Find some royalty-free or ripped audio clips that might work.
Then spend hours for each sex scene to sync them with the animations.
We'd love to do this, but it may not be possible until we finish the entire game and go through every line of code and every image and animation to make it 100% completed.
If our subscribers donate a nice chunk of cash to help pay for it, we'll happily do some testing... But unless that happens, we'll just have to wait and see. It's not all about the money, but money is a significant condition for it.
The android version of .13 crashes a lot. So far ive had it crash on start up, when ive switched to a different app, and even just changing the volume in the settings

As far as the version number? It's not 0.1 - 3rd but rather 0.13 - the 13th major update. Each update has between 30-50 events added in addition to minor tweaks of existing events/images/typos/word selection plus several remakes. So with a different numbering system, it could be called version 1.3 but we kept with the 0.13 due to it being unfinished.
How many more updates? well, we're still figuring that out. If the funding is there via subscriptions we could keep going... But we're getting to a good point to start wrapping things up in the next year or so...
Hi, just finished everything (for the most part) my first playthrough (light side). I just have to say that, although I had my reservations when I first started like 3 days ago due to low-res texturing of the character models, I think that this game is amazing. the story up to this point is so well done a detailed I'm thoroughly invested in everything this game has to offer and look forward to seeing where things go from here. That said I would now like to go into detail on things I really liked about this game; things that I think could use work; a few of the story issues I had, and things I hope to see in future updates.
For starters I'll get right into the story "bugs" I saw that I think should be fixed. while most of the time I appreciated the freedom to explore at my own rate i found that in some cases this made key events of the story happen out of order. To that end i think it would be prudent to reevaluate the order at which certainly storylines take place and quest lock them behind other scenes that are relevant to providing context to the event that's out of order. i noticed it happen a few times and some of those weren't terribly significant to drastically change the story, however the scene that stood out the most to me that really broke the narrative for me was [spoilers] the Remoray (i think) scene where she, and Emma/Helen were preforming their autopsy on Tatsu and Emma/Helan were sneaking around Remoray's lab in search of any clue at how to develop an antidote, I saw this scene before I had even confronted Emma and asked about her past as Helen, where I would've learned about her split personality, as well as the scene where she wakes up from her nightmare and fights with herself to take back control and start doing the right thing. seeing the autopsy scene first really threw me for a loop and i think it definitely should be addressed. Another storyline that i got introduced to abruptly without any relevant context was the concept of Linus at all. The first time I heard the name mentioned was from my little 'Moonshines' Mama when went to their trailer to meet them for the first time and she did that spiritual reading of our character and I was so confused who this Linus was, while our character seemed to be in the loop without me knowing. So yeah, please fix these issues, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Now for what I really want to talk about, Sunflower Moonshine Baby Elisha Van Halen is hands down best girl!!! I just can't get enough of her content! Please sir can i have some more like a lot more. honestly, I think my top 5 favorite characters stories so far are Elsa, Emily, Hilda, Nina, and despite how little we actually see her Sarah. I love them and can't wait to build my harem with them as my main girls. Rose is a given too like she's easily number 6, only reason she's not high for me is her storyline stresses me TF out, i mean she in the "lion's den" right alongside you and it just makes me feel like she's always under constant threat and I'm horrified at the possibility of a father daughter NTR scene could be forced on me if I make a mistake. Beyond that I feel like a lot of the other characters aren't half as fleshed out as they should be by this point. So that's my take on the Waifus as for the scenes that i need more of, more bathroom scenes (the anatomy lesson scene in the bathroom with Hilda was Gold and honestly should be replayable), more pregnant sex (so far there hasn't been half as much pregnancy as I was expecting and really hope it'll be possible to get as many of the girls pregnant and come full circle as possible like with Nina). lastly, I just gotta praise the references that are so nicely sprinkled all over the place, given me quite a fair bit a chuckles here and there, and it really lightens things up where the story can get quite dark.
as for what i think needs work, the game could really use a quality-of-life overhaul that streamlines some thinks, like the quest log and UI to make things a bit simpler for the player to navigate, like maybe organize the quest log by day you can start stories and give tips as what characters are involved. add a new tab just for waifus in general with stats for the girls to keep tabs on what we've done and where to find certain girls at certain times. it would also be nice if once a girl's questline is completed you could implement passive options to have sex and whatnot in a similar way "Confined with Goddesses" allows you to replay non-story relevant scenes indefinitely. For example, at the currant stopping point of Nina's questline you can visit and find her sleeping in the Nursery, but you can't do anything that feels like it would be indicative of your relationship with her. the same issue with Elsa only its worse cause once you get to the end of where her questline is now you can't even find her anywhere in the game at this point and as she's she my favorite, it's just sad that I can't just go visit the trailer and breed my 'Moonshine'. even then main family members become unvisitable, and it just leaves things unsatisfying to reach the end of content and not have anything to do while waiting for the next update. finally take all the time you need to pack lewd town full of that hot creamy depth I've come to crave, but i have to ask when all is said and done is there any possibility that we could get a character model texture/render update that that fixes the clipping issues of the models when having sex and really polishes and makes the characters seem more realistic? if not that's perfectly fine I can still get off to this masterpiece but there's always room for improvement.
Whew. So yeah, that's about all I had to say. Sorry about the essay length review, I hope my feedback is helpful. I can't wait to see everything you do with this story, really well done my good dev, bravo.
Woah! That's a long read. Thank you very much for the kind words and the detailed post. I'll go through all the feedback you mentioned one by one but TLDR; we listen to feedback and fix/change stuff accordingly.
Out of order events: Thank you very much for letting us know, sometimes we're not aware of it so cheers for pointing that out. It's not easy juggling with over 400 events. I've added it to my notes so consider it fixed in Lewd Town Adventures 0.13.
Elsa: Glad you like her. She'll have a new event in the coming update, in fact, you being a Good Path player, you're in for a treat as there are some massive new events for various characters and harem building.
Quality of life improvements including the journal: The GUI already had an update last year and took lots of work/time to implement. We're not planning any changes to that soon, maybe when the game is done.
Having said that, we're always working on the game and try to improve earlier scenes as well. 0.13 has a new world map, an improved journal that's way more on point, hundreds of small bug fixes, inconsistencies and more.
This also connects to model texture/render updates: In the past year we've remade over 50 scenes to improve to quality of the game. There are still things that could absolutely have an upgrade, especially things leftover from the early to mid game. I've talked about that quite often over on Subscribe star. We will get to it but in waves as there are tons of other things to do when it comes to creating to games.
As for clipping, feel free to send me some examples through Discord because I'm not aware of any. We spend a lot of time making sure that doesn't happen and always fix things like that asap if it comes to our attention.
Repeat content and more to do when visiting certain characters: We try to implement more repeat scenes and idle content and most characters have that, sadly for some we basically run out of time and leave it partially unfinished. Since it's a game in progress, they will all eventually have what you're asking for. It's one of the downsides building a game on such a big scale. At least all naughty scenes can be replayed in the gallery.
Closing words: We care about the game, we invest massive amounts of time and will make sure it will be one of the biggest/lewdest adult games on the market (which it kinda already is I guess.)
From LTA 0.1 to LTA 0.13 there have been loads of changes made, basically every major update is a massive improvement and we'll continue to do so till the game is finished and we're both satisfied with every aspect of the game.
Thank you for such a quick response, that's all really good to hear, as for the QoL stuff it's not an issue, whenever it suits you to upgrade, if you feel the need to is perfectly fine. it's not bad as is, I just always think about the, "but it could be better" aspect, and while only just discovering this game I hadn't know that the GUI had been recently improved on, so I don't mean to criticize what I can't recognize as an improvement, having no experience with the old.
As for the gallery, the scenes in the "Gallery" don't seem to be replayable but just a static image while the "Replays" tab are the only replayable scenes and there are far fewer of them. I guess what I'm getting at is it would be nice if the gallery wasn't just a static image from the scene, even if it were just a clip show replaying the events it'd be appreciated; for example as I mentioned in my first comment, the bathroom scene with Hilda is a gallery scene that's only represented by an image of our character trying to pull away as our mother try's to pull his face into her pissing vagina. For me any bathroom scene is just so hot (minus scat but thankfully it seems we're of the same mind in that regard) and the Hilda bathroom scene in particular is top notch which leaves me a bit bummed that it's not replayable but just a gallery image.
My issue with clipping isn't so much a problem with the game but in certain instances such as the sex scenes when it becomes apparent that it's simply a penis shaped cylindrical polygon being shoved into a pelvis shaped polygon, or like when Nina gives birth the spherical head polygon overlaps the pelvis polygon to the point you can't even tell it's supposed to be coming out her vagina. It's not a dire clipping issue its more of texture issue that I just think should be polished up in a more final release of the game. Vaginas are elastic and being a picture pasted on a polygon doesn't really evoke that elasticity and kinda breaks immersion.
So yeah, don't worry about it too much, it's not that much of an issue. They're just some things that I think should be touched on when you get to the point of polishing the game for a final release. Just keep doing what you're doing, cause you're doing a great job!

The engine and character model tools allow nearly unlimited manipulation of the individual sections and sub-sections of the skeleton and skin. At the time of rendering, it was the best I could do. The clipping was unavoidable with the knowledge I had during the construction and execution of that event. We knew it was a bit obvious and wonky, but overall passable.
Since then, I have improved significantly.
There's a balance to be struck with stretching a limited-pixel region beyond the original intended purpose or design. Something similar happens soon that is a vast improvement and shows just how much better I am at using the tools available in the studio we design these scenes within.
While we could go back and "fix" the existing images and animations, we are focused on moving forward to finish as much of the game itself as we can. Perhaps once we reach our final scenes in an epilogue, we may return to fix such things.
on the topic of improving the game, perhaps a 'notebook' or something could be used for the involvements/side-quests of the non-primary characters. Moonshine's mom, Regina, Zoe, Chloe, and Cassie would be great to have updated journals or character logs for. Having the MC get a secure database from Chad to log/store and access said info --which would be for both personal and work logs -- would be a great touch.

As for not having the gallery fully completed, it's not a bug but it has to do with all of the multiple routes/sub-routes available. Wild/Mild choices also effect certain unlocks and then there are a bunch of hidden endings that are not always easy to find.
Question, doing the event where the police come to talk to lilly about sophia going missing. When i say my name is alex she says thats strange then a moment later reveals her name is officer alex, is her saying thats strange because we have the same name or does she always do that. major props if theres actually a name check for that dialogue.
Check for any and all TASKS for other characters - listed on/before Day 74. Do those.
The tasks and events are interwoven. Not kinetically, but some rely on other character events first. Also - have you been to Story Store for a new gun? Did you follow someone from the Bar at night? Maybe look into those.

Yes, like the vast majority of these type of games, there is no audio during naughty scenes. There are various reasons for that but the main one is that there are simply very few sound bits out there, even more so if you have put audio behind over 40 different girls.
I just started playing, 25 day in, wasted a lot of time working to earn money. So im fairly new to the story and I am really confused. What does the drug do? Is it like GHB? The doc says it "greatly increases sexdrive" but the mc says it "takes away free will." Which is it? One is a super aphrodisiac the other is a rape drug. Quite a difference.
The drug is both. It affects people slightly differently. What the MC gives girls in town is a less potent form of it. Once they come to the mansion, they are given the full dose. The specifics are intentionally left vague to allow flexibility in how different characters react (quickly or slowly) / (like an addict needing more and more or simply more open to intimacy with each dose).
As far as grinding money, at the very start of the prologue, the "Quick Introduction..." states "NOTE: In this game, there will be no grinding for stats or cash (the most you'll need is $10k). Try not to take anything too seriously."
I know those who skip the prologue may have missed this, and I suspect a few people may have skipped reading the Quick Intro text altogether. It's fine, but please understand we've tried to make LTA a no-grinding game (except for pelvises - grind those all you like)...
We get it. There are games similar to ours where you literally must grind out pennies to get enough in order to proceed. I've played some where I hold the CTRL button to skip about 75% of the time to fly through repeat grinding scenes. We wish to avoid that in LTA as much as possible.
Oh i read the introduction. I just didn't believe that 10k would be enough to last me the entire playthrough lol.
Oh and I don't think im taking things too seriously. I just like to figure out how these things work in games i play. What the logic is.
Altho I have 2 things that kinda frustrate me.
1. There is too much variation between the "Dark" moments. Like, sex on the beach with the chick from Hawaii and sophia getting abducted by her dad and raped into becoming a cum hungry whore are not exactly at the same level.
2. It is kinda confusing to figure out which quests you have to complete in order to continue the quest line. It took me like 20 additional days just to get into the bar because i had to complete A quest and I had no clue which one.
The journal is being worked on and fairly complicated with so many quests/girls. In time it will be 100% accurate. For the time being it's advised to complete quests around the day you're on and complete quests from other girls as well.
Also, about the variation with darker moments. This game has multiple paths. You've chosen the Dark Path for Sophia so it does get dark while choosing the Good Path will be totally different and not dark at all. There are other choices that will completely alter the outcome of certain girls, the story and more.
Yea i can understand it being a complex web with this many characters. But for some it says "complete the questline up to day x for characters y and z." Thats why i mentioned it.
Yea the Sophia dark path is... damn thats so fuckin dark. I will have to give the good path a go to scrub my brain form what happened to her. Damn.

Basically you unlocked a semi hidden ending. She'll be fine and you can continue as if nothing bad happened.
Originally her path was supposed to be split right there, but her choice was moved to later on in the game(Day 68+) and that will alter her route in major ways.
Alright, so I feel like I owe this game another review now that I've played it for more than about an hour or so and my last review was pretty much just me being an opinionated shite. That said I'm not sure if the devs give a piss about my opinions anymore, but maybe you, the player, will just in case you go into this game with the same mentality that I did. Please note that I have not finished the game just yet, but I'm far enough in to know this is a good game that is worth playing. I don't want to get too spoiler-y so this is going to be more of a general review than anything.
So what bothered me the most in my last review was pretty much all the cartoonish randomness that happens in the prologue. After playing the game as a whole it feels to me now like the devs were trying to fit too much backstory into as tiny a space as possibly and ended up coming out as kinda a mess. I still think that the devs assuring the player that the game gets better the longer you stick with it so much is not a good look, it doesn't inspire confidence in the game. This could be fixed with just one developer not at the beginning saying something like "Hey, we know the prologue is pretty wild, but it's designed to be that way and has no bearing on the rest of the game." That being said, you shouldn't skip out on it because their is a bit of context in it that make other scenes in the future make a bit more sense.
If you manage to endure that first 3% of the game then you'll find the next 97% is actually a very well thought out story, and the main character is a big part of that. At first I just really didn't like the MC because he seemed like a walking contradiction, but the fact of the matter is he's a fucked up dude with a fucked up life in a fucked up situation. He's still not a shining example of what makes a good MC, but he's also not designed to be. He's compassionate towards the people he cares about and has understandable, and at times enjoyable, bouts of apathy towards people that piss him off. It's actually pretty satisfying watching him turn from a sniveling little worm into someone strong and confident. He still has flaws, but it's those flaws that manage to make him seem relateable as well.
There are a few flaws in the story telling, mostly the world building in my opinion, but most of those are actually addressed in a satisfying way. Accept for the college. This isn't a thing about the devs, more of a thing in general. I get the idea well enough, you want to have the high school aesthetic but you can't actually make anyone underaged so you call it a college. It's just that I don't know about or have heard of any college that has a mandatory uniform. It's a little jarring and immersion breaking whenever I see it, but I like say, it's not the dev's fault, it's a legal thing.
One piece of advise I can give you, the player, about the game in general is that you shouldn't focus on any one girl at a time. Progression works best when you broaden your horizons, not just because things are locked off by other characters, but once the main story starts to progress it can be a little jarring when some characters that you haven't spent much time on start talking to you like you've been speaking on a regular basis. This is something I think the dev's could improve on something, but since it's more of a progression issue and not exactly a story one I wouldn't know how exactly to go about it without just making more work.
Alright, there's my new review. I haven't hit any major forks in the road yet, but I'm definitely excited to see how things go once I get there.

I apologize but I don't really have the time to answer in full at the moment as I'm way too deep into developing 0.14 and will be busy for that for quite a while since the new update has to be ready in about 3-ish weeks and it's a looooot of work.
The prologue might get some extra work in the future though it's already been done about a year ago. It's mainly there to give the characters an introduction, tells who they are and have multiple hints that will majorly develop through the course of the story. It's been quite controversial from the start so for me, nothing new there.
Inconsistencies in the story will always get fixed as soon as we become aware of them. It's not easy juggling 450+ events with quite a few different characters/storylines. We do our best, but feel free to let us know through Discord or whatever when something is off.

I'm always happy to hear opinions either good or bad but to be fair, you've played 3% of the game and you didn't like it and it showed in your post. That's fine as the game might not be for everyone. Lewd Town Adventures has been around for 2.5 years, it's doing pretty damn good, and I know that for certain players the early game is not the strongest, heck, some might dislike everything about the game. There are however many fans that do like the game for what it is, a game with many fetishes that are optional, an adult game with adult subjects that can be funny, but also really dark. Of course the game somewhat uses porn logic, especially at the start because that was when I was still learning. Over time changes have been made, more will come.
Criticism is always accepted but if one only plays a very small portion of the game and writes wall of text basically saying "I don't like x or x and now I'm not sure if I want to continue the game.". I can't really do much with that, besides you're not the first one to dislike the prologue, saying it should be skipped all together is not criticism but more of an opinion which some might agree on, others not.
This is a game in development and we make loads of changes based on feedback, we improve the game on every major update, we create polls where players can vote on what will be implemented next, we remake/change outdated scenes (for example, the prologue you mentioned), implement qol changes and a ton of other stuff.
So yeah, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm not saying I'm right, but we absolutely do have a very different view on Lewd Town Adventures.
I'd recommend to complete the game first to get a better understanding of what we've tried to do, if not feel free to check out other games and maybe give this game another try in the future. Sadly, not every game will appeal to everyone although we've done our best.
In complete support of my boss here... How can someone judge a 2.5 hour film from 10 seconds of a teaser trailer? Especially if that trailer has very little in common with the brunt of the plot or story being told?
How can you judge an entire 7-season show (100 episodes or more) from just the first 10 minutes of the pilot episode, which has likely not been completely refined and is missing the majority of the cast?
In that same way, judging an entire game simply from the prologue or first 30 minutes of gameplay - while sometimes valid - holds minimal constructive criticism that would be relevant to the whole.
We appreciate opinions, feedback, criticism. Not everyone likes everything. If the game isn't for you, that's fine. But claiming it's a complete waste of time from less than 3% of the content? Sorry, that's just not adequate enough to get a sense of how the game plays out or what happens to the 40+ different characters (almost all of whom do not appear in the prologue).
You do have the right to feel it's not a game worth your time. Go find something that is. It's all good here. Like this game, and like many things in life - try not to take it personally or too seriously.

Im stuck. Im doing the dark path at day 153, I already met the boss and made the university a slutfest. The only girls left I got to do are:
Lisa - Visit bar after day 100
Principal - Try university classroom after day 85.
Eva - Visit the teacher's lounge after day 95+.
Luna - Visit the bar during the night after 110 days have passed.
Sarah - Visit the bar after day (114+).
Felicia - Complete Elsa's quests up till day 90.
Elsa - Talk to the university professor in the teacher's lounge after day 80.
Did I mess up somewhere? I tried every single task, nothing happened.
Check your game version. it should be on 0.13.2.
It's most likely 0.13 or 0.13.1, which had a minor bug that - if you completed Day 120 university corruption event - it locked out the other character events that precede Day 120.
2 options:
1 - find a save prior to university corruption event (before sleeping in MC house) and don't sleep there until the events are all to Day 120 or later in the tasks.
2 - Join our Discord and send Jamleng your save file. He can manually reset the University corruption events so you can get to the locked out events listed prior to Day 120.
This was fixed in 0.13.2, FYI but if you have completed the Day 120 University Corruption, then any character in the corrupted university will have all their other events locked unless you do one of the 2 steps above...

Mia is in Rose's old room. Test subject is Chloe and will be at the pool.
Next update will make it way smoother because the journal will get quite of an update. Overall though, For the smoothest playthrough, complete quests starting with the lowest day listed in the journal. Ignoring certain characters will put in a block on certain quests.

I came to the "adult games" or mostly eroge starting with Katawa Shoujo. Gosh who would have thought i got hooked onto KS plot so hard the R18 part is just a plus to the story. Felt so emotional after finished the game (╥_╥). LTA lowkey remind me this feeling about it. Now i came to eroge for the plot mostly. Yes the actual plot not that kinda "plot". Why eroge? Well obviously for the "plot" (๑òᗜó). But yeah you know what i mean (or not¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

FYI - everything in the folders on the computer is NON CANON to the story unless it is later added to the game. So as far as "cuck" or "NTR" stuff - that will remain exclusively on the dark path, which becomes a choice around 69 days into gameplay (depending on how quickly and efficiently you proceed through the story events).
Sounds like you're having fun. The MC prologue appearance is explained thoroughly if you pay attention to various events and read some of the side-content in-game when a certain 'reading' area becomes available...

There is no "weird anti-trans stuff" in the game. Possibly a few stereotypes here and there for many different characters as the game has quite a high volume of parody/satire. Speaking for myself, I couldn't care less about how others lead their lives as I simply I wish for everyone to be happy no matter who they are, where they're from, what they do. (as long as they love me.)

I always test the game before release and I personally don't suffer from any issues.
With the recent update, it should run smoother on Android systems. A restart may be required though. The game is quite animation heavy but that shouldn't cause any lag whatsoever. Aside from that, it's a port similar to all other Renpy games on this platform.
Sadly, I don't have any proper solutions to the problem.

Hi....Is there a difference between the good and dark choices?
Yes.
Dark includes darker events happening to girls around you as the MC slowly becomes more selfish and corrupted. Kinks include BDSM, gangbangs, and avoidable NTR (sharing them with other men with or without your consent)
Good includes more positive events, with more focus on harem-building and love. Kinks include impregnation, mild and wild kinky sex, and becoming a father.
Choosing Dark keeps you loyal to the Boss and the organization. More women join the organization.
Choosing Good allows you to save girls and reverse darker things you may have done early-game.
There are also neutral characters who can be corrupted or kept out of it all.
Depending on the choices marked "DARK" or not, some people will be taken from the safety of their home or possibly be brought out of the organization.

Am stuck at a part where most characters tell me to wait to meet the boss and the other characters are just telling me to complete other quests first, am pretty sure I met the boss at night and since then nothing has progressed.
There are 2 different tasks:
- Wait for the Boss to arrive.
- Meet the Boss.
Both are triggered by sleeping - first in MC bed, next in Rose's bed.
Meet the Boss is a key choice in the game. It sets the storyline to Dark or Good once you get past the meeting.
FYI - The game has been updated to 0.13.1
If you experience any issues, check your game version number (the downloaded zip/apk will list the version number). If it says 0.13, try re-downloading 0.13.1.

Just downloaded on a whim. I'm about a few hours in and already love this project. So much character and complexity I feel myself getting emotional at times. I thought it was odd how many warnings there were until I watched the "Patreon" video, now I understand and I am sorry that happened to you guys. Believe it or not - many of the backstory events did legit happen to either me or Jamleng - if not both of us. Our goal has always been to dig deep and pull emotions out as naturally as we can through storytelling and imagery. Glad to see you're enjoying it. So much more emotion and twists on the horizon...

As far as the version number? It's not 0.1 - 3rd but rather 0.13 - the 13th major update. Each update has between 30-50 events added in addition to minor tweaks of existing events/images/typos/word selection plus several remakes. So with a different numbering system, it could be called version 1.3 but we kept with the 0.13 due to it being unfinished.
How many more updates? well, we're still figuring that out. If the funding is there via subscriptions we could keep going... But we're getting to a good point to start wrapping things up in the next year or so...

Hi, just finished everything (for the most part) my first playthrough (light side). I just have to say that, although I had my reservations when I first started like 3 days ago due to low-res texturing of the character models, I think that this game is amazing. the story up to this point is so well done a detailed I'm thoroughly invested in everything this game has to offer and look forward to seeing where things go from here. That said I would now like to go into detail on things I really liked about this game; things that I think could use work; a few of the story issues I had, and things I hope to see in future updates.
For starters I'll get right into the story "bugs" I saw that I think should be fixed. while most of the time I appreciated the freedom to explore at my own rate i found that in some cases this made key events of the story happen out of order. To that end i think it would be prudent to reevaluate the order at which certainly storylines take place and quest lock them behind other scenes that are relevant to providing context to the event that's out of order. i noticed it happen a few times and some of those weren't terribly significant to drastically change the story, however the scene that stood out the most to me that really broke the narrative for me was [spoilers] the Remoray (i think) scene where she, and Emma/Helen were preforming their autopsy on Tatsu and Emma/Helan were sneaking around Remoray's lab in search of any clue at how to develop an antidote, I saw this scene before I had even confronted Emma and asked about her past as Helen, where I would've learned about her split personality, as well as the scene where she wakes up from her nightmare and fights with herself to take back control and start doing the right thing. seeing the autopsy scene first really threw me for a loop and i think it definitely should be addressed. Another storyline that i got introduced to abruptly without any relevant context was the concept of Linus at all. The first time I heard the name mentioned was from my little 'Moonshines' Mama when went to their trailer to meet them for the first time and she did that spiritual reading of our character and I was so confused who this Linus was, while our character seemed to be in the loop without me knowing. So yeah, please fix these issues, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Now for what I really want to talk about, Sunflower Moonshine Baby Elisha Van Halen is hands down best girl!!! I just can't get enough of her content! Please sir can i have some more like a lot more. honestly, I think my top 5 favorite characters stories so far are Elsa, Emily, Hilda, Nina, and despite how little we actually see her Sarah. I love them and can't wait to build my harem with them as my main girls. Rose is a given too like she's easily number 6, only reason she's not high for me is her storyline stresses me TF out, i mean she in the "lion's den" right alongside you and it just makes me feel like she's always under constant threat and I'm horrified at the possibility of a father daughter NTR scene could be forced on me if I make a mistake. Beyond that I feel like a lot of the other characters aren't half as fleshed out as they should be by this point. So that's my take on the Waifus as for the scenes that i need more of, more bathroom scenes (the anatomy lesson scene in the bathroom with Hilda was Gold and honestly should be replayable), more pregnant sex (so far there hasn't been half as much pregnancy as I was expecting and really hope it'll be possible to get as many of the girls pregnant and come full circle as possible like with Nina). lastly, I just gotta praise the references that are so nicely sprinkled all over the place, given me quite a fair bit a chuckles here and there, and it really lightens things up where the story can get quite dark.
as for what i think needs work, the game could really use a quality-of-life overhaul that streamlines some thinks, like the quest log and UI to make things a bit simpler for the player to navigate, like maybe organize the quest log by day you can start stories and give tips as what characters are involved. add a new tab just for waifus in general with stats for the girls to keep tabs on what we've done and where to find certain girls at certain times. it would also be nice if once a girl's questline is completed you could implement passive options to have sex and whatnot in a similar way "Confined with Goddesses" allows you to replay non-story relevant scenes indefinitely. For example, at the currant stopping point of Nina's questline you can visit and find her sleeping in the Nursery, but you can't do anything that feels like it would be indicative of your relationship with her. the same issue with Elsa only its worse cause once you get to the end of where her questline is now you can't even find her anywhere in the game at this point and as she's she my favorite, it's just sad that I can't just go visit the trailer and breed my 'Moonshine'. even then main family members become unvisitable, and it just leaves things unsatisfying to reach the end of content and not have anything to do while waiting for the next update. finally take all the time you need to pack lewd town full of that hot creamy depth I've come to crave, but i have to ask when all is said and done is there any possibility that we could get a character model texture/render update that that fixes the clipping issues of the models when having sex and really polishes and makes the characters seem more realistic? if not that's perfectly fine I can still get off to this masterpiece but there's always room for improvement.
Whew. So yeah, that's about all I had to say. Sorry about the essay length review, I hope my feedback is helpful. I can't wait to see everything you do with this story, really well done my good dev, bravo.

Thank you very much for letting us know, sometimes we're not aware of it so cheers for pointing that out. It's not easy juggling with over 400 events. I've added it to my notes so consider it fixed in Lewd Town Adventures 0.13.

Glad you like her. She'll have a new event in the coming update, in fact, you being a Good Path player, you're in for a treat as there are some massive new events for various characters and harem building.
Quality of life improvements including the journal:
The GUI already had an update last year and took lots of work/time to implement. We're not planning any changes to that soon, maybe when the game is done.
Having said that, we're always working on the game and try to improve earlier scenes as well. 0.13 has a new world map, an improved journal that's way more on point, hundreds of small bug fixes, inconsistencies and more.
This also connects to model texture/render updates:
In the past year we've remade over 50 scenes to improve to quality of the game.
There are still things that could absolutely have an upgrade, especially things leftover from the early to mid game. I've talked about that quite often over on Subscribe star. We will get to it but in waves as there are tons of other things to do when it comes to creating to games.
As for clipping, feel free to send me some examples through Discord because I'm not aware of any. We spend a lot of time making sure that doesn't happen and always fix things like that asap if it comes to our attention.
Repeat content and more to do when visiting certain characters:
We try to implement more repeat scenes and idle content and most characters have that, sadly for some we basically run out of time and leave it partially unfinished. Since it's a game in progress, they will all eventually have what you're asking for. It's one of the downsides building a game on such a big scale. At least all naughty scenes can be replayed in the gallery.
Closing words:
We care about the game, we invest massive amounts of time and will make sure it will be one of the biggest/lewdest adult games on the market (which it kinda already is I guess.)
From LTA 0.1 to LTA 0.13 there have been loads of changes made, basically every major update is a massive improvement and we'll continue to do so till the game is finished and we're both satisfied with every aspect of the game.

Thank you for such a quick response, that's all really good to hear, as for the QoL stuff it's not an issue, whenever it suits you to upgrade, if you feel the need to is perfectly fine. it's not bad as is, I just always think about the, "but it could be better" aspect, and while only just discovering this game I hadn't know that the GUI had been recently improved on, so I don't mean to criticize what I can't recognize as an improvement, having no experience with the old.
As for the gallery, the scenes in the "Gallery" don't seem to be replayable but just a static image while the "Replays" tab are the only replayable scenes and there are far fewer of them. I guess what I'm getting at is it would be nice if the gallery wasn't just a static image from the scene, even if it were just a clip show replaying the events it'd be appreciated; for example as I mentioned in my first comment, the bathroom scene with Hilda is a gallery scene that's only represented by an image of our character trying to pull away as our mother try's to pull his face into her pissing vagina. For me any bathroom scene is just so hot (minus scat but thankfully it seems we're of the same mind in that regard) and the Hilda bathroom scene in particular is top notch which leaves me a bit bummed that it's not replayable but just a gallery image.
My issue with clipping isn't so much a problem with the game but in certain instances such as the sex scenes when it becomes apparent that it's simply a penis shaped cylindrical polygon being shoved into a pelvis shaped polygon, or like when Nina gives birth the spherical head polygon overlaps the pelvis polygon to the point you can't even tell it's supposed to be coming out her vagina. It's not a dire clipping issue its more of texture issue that I just think should be polished up in a more final release of the game. Vaginas are elastic and being a picture pasted on a polygon doesn't really evoke that elasticity and kinda breaks immersion.
So yeah, don't worry about it too much, it's not that much of an issue. They're just some things that I think should be touched on when you get to the point of polishing the game for a final release. Just keep doing what you're doing, cause you're doing a great job!

Regarding the Nina birth event - it was my first attempt at that.
The engine and character model tools allow nearly unlimited manipulation of the individual sections and sub-sections of the skeleton and skin. At the time of rendering, it was the best I could do. The clipping was unavoidable with the knowledge I had during the construction and execution of that event. We knew it was a bit obvious and wonky, but overall passable.
Since then, I have improved significantly.
There's a balance to be struck with stretching a limited-pixel region beyond the original intended purpose or design. Something similar happens soon that is a vast improvement and shows just how much better I am at using the tools available in the studio we design these scenes within.
While we could go back and "fix" the existing images and animations, we are focused on moving forward to finish as much of the game itself as we can. Perhaps once we reach our final scenes in an epilogue, we may return to fix such things.
on the topic of improving the game, perhaps a 'notebook' or something could be used for the involvements/side-quests of the non-primary characters. Moonshine's mom, Regina, Zoe, Chloe, and Cassie would be great to have updated journals or character logs for. Having the MC get a secure database from Chad to log/store and access said info --which would be for both personal and work logs -- would be a great touch.

As for not having the gallery fully completed, it's not a bug but it has to do with all of the multiple routes/sub-routes available.
Wild/Mild choices also effect certain unlocks and then there are a bunch of hidden endings that are not always easy to find.

When i say my name is alex she says thats strange then a moment later reveals her name is officer alex, is her saying thats strange because we have the same name or does she always do that. major props if theres actually a name check for that dialogue.

Check for any and all TASKS for other characters - listed on/before Day 74. Do those.
The tasks and events are interwoven. Not kinetically, but some rely on other character events first. Also - have you been to Story Store for a new gun? Did you follow someone from the Bar at night? Maybe look into those.

Yes, like the vast majority of these type of games, there is no audio during naughty scenes. There are various reasons for that but the main one is that there are simply very few sound bits out there, even more so if you have put audio behind over 40 different girls.

I just started playing, 25 day in, wasted a lot of time working to earn money. So im fairly new to the story and I am really confused. What does the drug do? Is it like GHB? The doc says it "greatly increases sexdrive" but the mc says it "takes away free will." Which is it? One is a super aphrodisiac the other is a rape drug. Quite a difference.
First, try not to take things too seriously.
The drug is both. It affects people slightly differently. What the MC gives girls in town is a less potent form of it. Once they come to the mansion, they are given the full dose. The specifics are intentionally left vague to allow flexibility in how different characters react (quickly or slowly) / (like an addict needing more and more or simply more open to intimacy with each dose).
As far as grinding money, at the very start of the prologue, the "Quick Introduction..." states "NOTE: In this game, there will be no grinding for stats or cash (the most you'll need is $10k). Try not to take anything too seriously."
I know those who skip the prologue may have missed this, and I suspect a few people may have skipped reading the Quick Intro text altogether. It's fine, but please understand we've tried to make LTA a no-grinding game (except for pelvises - grind those all you like)...
We get it. There are games similar to ours where you literally must grind out pennies to get enough in order to proceed. I've played some where I hold the CTRL button to skip about 75% of the time to fly through repeat grinding scenes. We wish to avoid that in LTA as much as possible.
Oh i read the introduction. I just didn't believe that 10k would be enough to last me the entire playthrough lol.
Oh and I don't think im taking things too seriously. I just like to figure out how these things work in games i play. What the logic is.
Altho I have 2 things that kinda frustrate me.
1. There is too much variation between the "Dark" moments. Like, sex on the beach with the chick from Hawaii and sophia getting abducted by her dad and raped into becoming a cum hungry whore are not exactly at the same level.
2. It is kinda confusing to figure out which quests you have to complete in order to continue the quest line. It took me like 20 additional days just to get into the bar because i had to complete A quest and I had no clue which one.
The journal is being worked on and fairly complicated with so many quests/girls.
In time it will be 100% accurate. For the time being it's advised to complete quests around the day you're on and complete quests from other girls as well.
Also, about the variation with darker moments. This game has multiple paths.
You've chosen the Dark Path for Sophia so it does get dark while choosing the Good Path will be totally different and not dark at all. There are other choices that will completely alter the outcome of certain girls, the story and more.
Yea i can understand it being a complex web with this many characters. But for some it says "complete the questline up to day x for characters y and z." Thats why i mentioned it.
Yea the Sophia dark path is... damn thats so fuckin dark. I will have to give the good path a go to scrub my brain form what happened to her. Damn.
