As Soon as I have Cody help me move the furniture blocking the hole in the wall to another room, the game just freezes, and I cant progress. This is a huge bummer because the game is so great, I just want to keep playing!
This could be that the game jumps over a command and that command is the teleport or the end scene. Can you take a screenshot of the exactly moment the game freezes?
It also could be because of rpg maker is limited and I might have pushed it too far
Unfortunately no, When I try to screenshot the game says it was saved in the mapshots file but unfortunately they aren't saving for me. The freeze happens right when Cody moves the grey, rectangular, locker-looking object that covers the hole leading to the ballroom. Once he moves it, the characters face each other, and the game freezes. I've tried moving the arrow keys, clicking, restarting the game and my pc, but it freezes right at that moment.
It sounds like cody was with you when you go to the ballroom (as u play as nick). which is totally wrong. I think is how the event has been set up. Try it without cody and see how it goes. If you want cody to go away, go outside and talk to the monster outside of the mansion and then get done with the puzzles with the stew and the music sheets
as for the screenshot problem. it sounds like I accidently left a plugin on (is for getting map images) so Is something I need to set in the list of bugs to fix

Can anyone help me out, im at the stew making part and ive gotten the water, meat and veggies, but once I try to make the stew it doesnt put the meat. T-T Im not sure if I have to get the meat first and messed it up orrr... If anyone knows please help me and THANK YOUUUUU <3
There could be many reasons to why it doesn't work but I will mark some of them for you c:
1. There is 1 thing missing. It could be the shelves of the rooms or the flowers.
2. When you have everything mirrored and it still doesn't let you further, you will get a message from the door saying "I should talk to cody" he will reveal it is the mirrors
3. It is a bug. I know this puzzle is 1 a lot of people have struggles with and so is on the list of fixing for later c:
Is it the red and the blue room puzzle? If u have matched everything, you can go back to the door and it will lead you to the right path.
It will also ask for 1 more action afterwords, but in case you are like other people who haven't found the red and the blue room (and perhaps the save room's bathroom), it would be at the hallway in the center. At left and right ^^ the bathroom should be by the left side of the save room. hope this helps!

The developer has done an amazing job on this chapter. As a solo developer they've done so much to make sure that this first chapter came out! The game shows this, it's a lot of fun and very promising. The character portraits and artwork are great! Their personalities are fun too. The overall story is a nice twist on a classic tale placing a unique take and style no other developer can copy.
I thoroughly enjoyed the vibe of this game so much! The music, visuals, mapping, etc. are all so good! I can't wait to find out what happens next, Nova!! I'm going to keep up with you on all the social medias that I have. I also put the link to this game on a Discord server for creators! Many of them love RPG Maker! I hope you've been well!
Yo Nova! I played through your current build and I have to say, for a one person job this is incredible, I have played a few of "New Age" RPG Maker Horror games and few can give off that old nostalgic feeling games like "The Witches House" and "Ib" gave off.
But this game did just that, somehow capturing that same feeling I'd always get playing those games and it reminded me of what I value most in a game like this, convincing and organic character development/interaction. Even for a Demo, Nick and Noah's interactions feel real. Amazing job truly!

Hello! thank you for writing to me! I am trying to work on a update to the game and fix some stuff that doesn't fit to the story anymore!! I wanna try to post chapter 1 with a whole new lighting and feeling to it. making it feel like its a good story that does make sense. (Even if i have struggled writing chapter 1)
But i wanna say it will come out whenever i get chapter 1 done! I may be slow, but is mostly because i take this as a hobby and i have been working with commissions recently.
This was really hecking cool! I had lots of fun with my playthrough and I love the contrast between Nick and Noah, they're very good boys ;w;. I'll be following the development and can't wait until more is released!

If you got "vegetable stew" You just need to interact with the pot once again and it will add the meat ^^

hi sorry to bother you again, but i noticed the shevles are different and i have no idea how to fix them.
you can change them in the blue room by interact with it ^^
It should be 6278 c: the man who gives u the medicine will tell you some of the code as well.
It could also be a bug where if u have typed the code it's suddenly different but. Just reload the save if that's the case
It's something I am gonna take a look at on for next update

ive been wandering around the mansion for hours and i cant figure out what to do, but one thing i interacted is the red roses
Is it the red and the blue room puzzle? If u have matched everything, you can go back to the door and it will lead you to the right path.
