am i missing somthing or is this just an overly complicated game of jenga with an air of pursuer fears

Fundamentally a correct if slightly backwards take. I recommend if you're enjoying overcomplicating jenga, try The Wretched by Chris Bisette. Tumbling towers are a great mechanism for adding tension to roleplay. It sounds silly but give it a go!

We sat down and played it yesterday and honestly? It was an absolute blast! We loved how much freedom this game gave us, you can literally choose the entire vibe of your town yourself. The game does not forbid you from anything and does not specify what happens if you won nor fail, you are entitled to choose if the action you take is a success or not. It has a great replayability. We chose to play as two teens, for the first 30 mins we were progressively more sad and felt the doom looming around the corners and that made the interactions of our characters only more and more meaningful. We drew  the ace of clubs and it shifted the entire game for us. At that point our characters realised they only have each other, we started coming up with silly little stories from school or summer camps and held onto them, as these memories were the most prized of our possessions. I don't remember the last time an RPG game made such an impact on us, we spent a lot of time talking about it afterwards and are excited to play again, choosing a different setting. Thank you for this game and the effort you put into this, it is a remarkable piece that really takes you on an emotional journey. Cheers!

thank you so much for your detailed comment! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the game <3

My partner and I played this game tonight and, yes.... it is so much fun and suspenseful, and a unique experience from any game I've played before. Thanks. She said, "It's a GREAT two player game." (even better with wine).

P.S. I picked it up in the Bundle for Ukraine... thanks for including it there.

Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed it! <3

For the block tower do you just mean a jenga tower? If so, do we use all the blocks included in the jenga or a specific amount?

Hi! Yes a jenga tower, but I said tumbling tower because jenga is a brand and the brand doesn't matter 😂

And yep all the blocks unless you want to challenge yourself. I personally use them all and allow myself to stabilise the tower to compensate for my essential tremor, so whatever works best for you is what's best for the story. :)

Really looking forward to playing this one!

Thank you! I hope you enjoy it!

Hi there! Just got the pdf and the hyperlinks don't seem to be working? I was curious which links could simulate the block tower online and the deck for multiplaye

(+1)

I found this for the Deck. https://playingcards.io/game/standard-deck

But am still looking for a block tower Online option

Apologies for that! playingcards.io can be used for the deck, and for simulating the tower you can roll a d20 each time you would pull a block (or 2d20 if the game suggests pulling quickly to add risk) and if a number comes up 3 times that counts as the tower falling. Thanks for letting me know about the links! I'll pop them in the game's description later tonight
