This is an unnatural behavior, we can’t reproduce it on our side. What operating system are you using? And how are you closing the game? Are you properly saving the session before closing?

If by “pc” you mean player character, that would be a bit too difficult and costly to implement.

Yet we are considering the concept of female pc for our future projects

We’re taking in consideration the problems you have mentioned, yet for some it might take a while until they get implemented

first expedition, at its first fight;

clicked at the green thing under character face at left, which so far I have no clue of what it does but uses the green bar when its at 100.

I clicked at it right at the start of the first fight, with it at 0, if helps in reproduce;

It happened two times. Each time i set the challenges to Hermit and i think Weakness. It happened at stages 0-1 and 0-2. I checked and without challenges it doesn't happen. Pretty sure it doesn't just occur at stages 0-1 and 0-2 it will probably on all stages. Dunno I didn't check on other levels.

I haven't played yet, but I definitely get some Arknights vibes from the style to the HUD. Looking forward to playing this :) 

Whoopsie, I deleted my save files with the update xD

Guess this game stores the save files somewhere in the game folder, and not in somewhere like MyDocuments or AppData/Local.

I really don't know the limitations of the new RPG Maker engine, so I ask:

I've completed all my previous conversations and it still doesn't allow me to proceed with the next convo, what should I do? Also, what are the requirements for unlocking "Special actions"?

For which partner you completed the conversations? And on which conversation you cannot proceed?

Also, regarding Special Actions is a feature which is going to be added a bit later and it will be related to the “Love” parameter of the Partner

Fixed in the new version (which will come sooner than you might expect).

You should be also able to use your save file on the new version, but you will have to replay the first conversation with Fyra. Afterwards they’ll unlock normally.

I have a question in the traits. Can i activate all or not and if not how do i change the active one? 

There's no update to reset already selected traits yet.

There is currently no plan to add NTR related content. All non-vanilla fetishes are also avoidable and they will always be.

However, by looking here at the screenshots, I can't stop to think that RPG Maker is not the right game engine for this, especially because of its clunky mouse support. (I really like to play with mouse only)

Now that I had some free time to play after I downloaded it, I see that, I was wrong about the mouse support.

This game can be played well with mouse only :)

I'm not sure wether the RPG Maker engine improved over the years or you managed to find or create some good plugin/addon for it to make it work correctly, but you have done it well:

Clicks register at the right place, at the right time :)

At the same time, playing this game made me also remember some other reasons why I hate and avoid RPG Maker games. However unlikely I tought, you did actually solve the mouse problem, so maybe you can also manage to fix the following two problems:

1. There is no way to save/load/exit during conversations. Good story-rich games should have very long conversations, story events and scenarios, but the thing gets tedious if it is not possible to just save and exit in the middle of a long scene. Also, beacuse in these types of immersive story games, there should be a branching plot, with meaningful choices, it's only natural, that pepole wanna experiment around freely, saving before choices and then loading back to try an other choice, so this is an important standard feature which is implemented in every decent visual novel.

2. There is no way to configure wether to skip only the already read text, or all text. I saw that you have implemented a skip feature, but I still not used it, becuse I suspect that it would just skip all text. This also connects to problem 1., beacause I don't want spoilers, so if I need to save and exit the game during a long story part, then I do not wanna skip ahead only to be able to save the game, and also do not wanna reread everyting next time if I choose to just quit and reload an older save before the happening of the conversation event. Also, in a story-rich game with a branching plot and meaningful choices, there should be a way to skip only the already read text, so at the next time a player replays the game and would wish to go on a different route, he can automatically skip the already read text.

Anyway, I'm not sure, wether I should be happy or feel worried, that you are even willing to consider changing the game engine now. From what I experienced in this game so far, I understand, that it has already a lot of content, and reimplementing it all would be a total development nightmare.

I also noticed, that there is some built-in google forms survey in the game, about giving feedback or something like that. I would be happy to do it, but I can not, becuse I use my windows pc offline only, and the game does not open the form in a browser, so I can not get the link to copy over to my Linux computer which I use online. So, can you maybe post here the URL of the survey, or display it in readable form in-game, in the next update? I guess I gonna take my time checking this game out, so no need to rush tough.

I think most of them can be solved halfway more or less, I’m using lots of workarounds to bring most of the systems in their current state. This is why I’m considering changing the engine too, not changing it myself but hire someone to help me over time to port / improve everything over other engine.

Regarding the survey that would be a great idea indeed, I’ll see how we get to implement this.

Is there any cheats?

There are plenty of them. Open the biggest button on the screen: Depart menu (where you choose Story/Expedition) > in the upper right corner should be the debug.

Even the public version has debug.

When will be the public release of new update?

It is already released (Erosion [0.3.0 - Public]), just download it from this itch page

Hello there, thank you for showing this level of interest regarding our project.

For now we do not have the proper resources to deploy a native linux build, yet you can find our game on the Newgrounds platform and there can be played in the browser regardless of the operating system. (search “erosion” on Newgrounds and you will find it)

How do you deselect traits?

In future there is going to be a feature which will let you reset all your traits

can i play using joiplay?

You need joiplay to play the game on Android? If so, we already have an official android version released, check the .apk downloads.

You can definitely try, we have never tried it ourselves exactly because we make a the android version.

I cannot guarantee it will work because our game uses lots of custom scripts.

Yes, there are a few ways this issue can be solved:

  • try to relaunch the game and wait a bit until you press Start
  • try relaunch the game to Title Screen and enter Options then return from options, afterwards you can try Start session again
  • try relaunch the game with your internet connection offline until you successfully start a new session
  • try relaunch the game and do not change the game’s resolution (keep the initial one) until you successfully start a new session

Does your game require an internet connection? I am on android, also getting this issue. presumably because my tablet never connects to the internet, and it never will because I don't want it to.

I've tried relaunched the game multiple times, but it never gets to title screen or options. goes straight from warning into the error screen every single time. 


If you have the game set to fetch stuff from the internet you need to change the code so that it just skips that step if it sees there is no internet connection.

The game only fetches the image from the starting screen, more than that should not be a problem. There are a few workarounds to that error, such as: waiting for game to load until starting screen > go to options from the menu > wait a bit > back to starting screen > start a new session and no error should occur.

And I get your point, in one of the QoL updates I’ll try to not call that function when running on android, the fetching tends to be significantly slow on phone and it can result in an error more frequently.

That workaround does not work. I cant "wait for game to load until starting screen",  I always get that error *before* reaching the starting screen.

It keeps trying to fetch the image from github but that will never happen, this tablet never connects to the internet. 

I'll wait till the next QoL update then. thanks for being responsive!

I just started a new game and fiddled with the difficulty of my first enemy on the quest where I need to defeat 0-1 two times. However, now all enemies have permanent Heavy Stance so I cant harm them, and I cant disable that from the difficulty menus because its locked to Adventurer Level 2, buts locked as enabled. 

Did I miss something or is this a bug? The Heavy isnt going away after 1 turn like its supposed to, so theyre just permanently invincible.

Sounds like a huge bug you found there, yet I’m pretty sure it has been solved in the upcoming build.

As far as I remember starting a new game should solve the issue on the older builds.

Have you used a save file by any chance? I’m still trying to find out what was the real cause of the problem, if you have more info it would be greatly appreciated

In my first gameplay that happens as well. Using the 0.2.1 version.

BTW have u thought on moving to another language the game, instead of RPG Maker? C#, Python or even a partial C++ implementation? Or using another tool like Unity?

In the newest build I have tried to refresh the Difficulties in case they are selected and deselect them. A public build will come soon, please stay tuned and try on that one too!

Yes, I have thought about moving to another engine like Unity, that would make my work much easier and everything would run much smoother, but unfortunately I do not have the resources to make this thing happen yet.

There are multiple ways to heal the MC:

  • By sleeping you recover certain percentage of HP
  • By buying foods from the Guild Hall (accessed from City Center)

The HP of your partners also heals a certain percentage when you sleep. If you want to simply consume more energy (and go to sleep) you can just finish multiple times the 0-1 stage. That should be the easiest.

How do you heal?

How do we save here? Is it automatic?

You can manually save by going to Options and Save. But yes, there is also an autosave function whenever you sleep the game will autosave on slot1.

Could someone please help me? Whenever I finish the first stage and click any button after the victory screen, the game crashes....i don't know if it's my device but I've got 3 GB storage free, so i don't think there should be a problem. 

I'm talking right after the prologue part, I've tried to save game once after that 1st fight but i wasn't able to do so because the game crashed....let me know if you know how to solve this?

Either I did something wrong or there is a bug with the second fight in the tutorial against the shadow. When following the outlined actions so it seems that you get stuck in combat.
After the first combo, the game wants you to do the combo again and then tells you to finish him with physical attacks but since Iam unable to proc the +1 damage end of cycle effect before the physical cards the shadow doesnt actually die. Addionally i cant end the turn because one would probably die then. Iam playing 0.2.4 on pc

Hi, im quite confused how to do this.

What do you need to do?

You double tap/click on the cards you want to have in the battle, and you select up to 4 of them as indicated in the tutorial you had before this battle.

Tap/click on the down-arrow of the upper panel to scroll through the cards list

Okay, that's good to know. I feel like stuff like that should be labelled as such and I certainly didn't notice anything. 

The tutorials also don't seem to give any explanation for love, trust, attraction, and boredom. Presumably, love, trust, and attraction help the chances that your partner joins you, but I don't remember that ever being directly stated. I also have no clue if 'boredom' is a good thing or not. The bar has filled up to 105 at this point and I still have no clue what it's for, if anything at all in this point in development.

We will add a passive tutorial for them first time you enter that screen, so far we have not given any explanation for that system as we knew it needed a revamp (which was implemented in version 0.2.3), so those values have more meaning for the player.

We are trying our best to clear up all the “partial” parts in the game as soon as we can, including the lack of Partner levels. Please keep an eye on our game for the upcoming updates

Okay, sounds good. I've played lots of other games that don't clearly indicated what stuff is partially complete and similar stuff, seems weirdly common in my experience for there to be absolutely no mention.

C'est un bon jeu, le système de combat est très intéressant et permet pas mal de possibilités de combos. Le graphisme est excellent je trouve, on le voit dès le début et j'ai hâte de poursuivre mon aventure mais j'ai UN gros problème... Le jeu a tendance à se freeze du coup tu regardes ta cinématique ou bien tu lis le dialogue et pouf ! plus moyen de continuer faut relancer le jeu et c'est assez frustrant car je ne pense pas qu'il y ait de sauvegarde automatique... Bref, c'est cool mais ça va vite me prendre la tête ^^'

Hello there! Unfortunately, seems like there is no easy way to access your save file on Android, due to the way the engine works.

We have looked into this and it seems to be a common problem for this engine in general. It is clearly an issue and you brought it to our attention, we are looking right now into ways how to solve it.

Unfortunately we don’t have an official multilanguage translator, I will answer you in English in order to avoid translation errors or any misunderstandings.

In case you’re asking if the save files from the previous build still work on the current public build, the answer is depends. Saves from 0.2.0 are compatible with the latest build 0.2.1. If the save was made on a version older than 0.2.0, then the saves are not compatible on the latest build.
