Very very cool game. I really liked the first painting, abusive relationships between spouses with a chronic/terminal/neurodegenerative illness doesn't really get touched on a lot in video games as far as I know (I mean beyond Silent Hill 2 I guess) so this was a really interesting topic to see in a free itch.io game! The use of AI art is very cool and interesting, I wish it had stayed this way instead of evolving into whatever it is today.

i definitely wasn't expecting a game like this browsing free itch.io games lmao. the most impactful part for me was the maze - i can't explain why, but everything about it just felt some kind of way. it's also strange how just a few lines of dialogue can make you feel so much for some ai-generated pixels, jeez. really enjoyed the atmosphere of this game too - it's just so right. the tone of all the text to the player is spot on as well - omniscient, encouraging, but just distant enough. and i have to give credits to the soundtrack because it's brilliant.
i will say: during the third painting, i didn't encounter a monster whilst looking for key cards. i was definitely terrified waiting for a monster to pop up during that whole segment but nothing happened, so i assumed it was a thing the game hyped up on purpose as some kind of metaphor deal, but looking at the comments apparently there's meant to be a monster? so i'm unsure why that happened :( i played in browser fwiw.
overall though i loved this! and i'll definitely be thinking about it for a while.

What a wonderful gaming experience! Such a deep and emotional game. Great pacing, dialogues and puzzles were fun and engaging. Reminded me of To The Moon series, idk if the devs took inspiration there. Definitely recommend it, truly a great game with splendid art and a beautiful OST. 10/10!

Very cool, I love the transition between cleaning the painting and being whisked away inside it. The second painting was my favorite. I know the dev said this was made right when AI art was just starting out so it looked a lot more interesting/surreal/bizarre then, and I can definitely say if I played it around then I would have loved the strange art more. Idk if I'll finish the third painting because my reaction time is just not fast enough to run away from whatever's happening lol, but the game is so unique even without finishing it

I have a habit of skimming the pages of "free" on itch to pass the time. I saw this title so much but never got around to playing it. thank God I finally did.
Usually I have a long thesis or something on the game by the time I'm finished but I don't.

this was such a good game!!! i felt so many feelings playing it. i love the music and the ai art it's so creepy but in a good way if that makes sense. also my gf noticed the key names and found out what they mean. really nice easter egg. are there more easter eggs in the game?
Some small easter eggs of sorts include the dialogue from the doll after helping the boy move on, which is "thank you" in Swedish, and Charon having a bit of dialogue that hints at the true nature of the protagonist if you talk to him right before ending the game.
this was such a good game, I had a wonderful time playing it
the music is incredible and atmospheric, and I really think you used the abstract nature of early AI art extremely well, this game truly is the exception to the rule, I think I'm going to be coming back to play this game every now and then just for how great it is, the stories of the characters were very meaningful and I enjoyed learning about them.

This was a real goodie. Excellent use of RPGMaker and got a lot more intense than I was expecting.

basically what you have to do is pick a god, pray, and book it as fast as you can to each pile of trash, and use the lockers to get the demon stuck
