It feels like alongside games like Artificial Dream In Arcadia, SMT fans feel like the people crafting the most compelling projects in the genre
I made an account just to say how much I love the vibe this thing gives off.
I adore the pre-rendered 3D sprite art style and really appreciate the diversity in the range of character skins, there's a lot of badass designs, but the deadpan, sometimes uncanny expressions that come with the mannequin aesthetic is just unsettling and menacing enough to keep you on edge and ugh - *chef's kiss* - it's just wonderful.
Then, there's that ominous feeling of something always watching you from around every corner even though it's bright and well-lit and you can see everything in front of you, and man, don't even get me started on that crunchy bass line on (what I can only assume is) the boss theme hitting me in ways I didn't even know I needed.
It all brings me back to that little pocket of gaming in the early 2000's, where it was all a little bit strange and developers weren't afraid to get a bit weird, I respect that direction so much. I'm looking forward to seeing how this pans out, you've made something super cool here. Keep going!
The games super rad! The art and music really pulled me in and I HAD to play more when i saw the Cyborg Mutant class looking like a certain masked hero. Gameplay itself is real fun too.
One little thing, instead of asking the player if they want to save when they select the save option, i feel like itd be smoother to just go right to the save menu when you select the button like most other games. The player still has the option to back out from that screen if they dont wanna save.

You should put this on Steam Early Access, the art is very high quality and would probably help fund the full game.
