Please update the version, I can't play in public games :(

MILK

For Linux Users, after installing the game and extracting the .zip folder; make sure Steam(normal linux steam not the one using WINE) is running in the background after that open the installed game folder and before opening the game application go to the properties of the game application and click on the permissions tab and make sure "allow this file to run as a program" is checked and then open the game application normally and you should see the server list with the available online servers in your region and should work pretty smooth. this worked with me figured id tell other people.

Dani Mac is working perfectly, I dunno linux but just saying that Mac is working multiplayer

Whenever I go to join servers, there isn't any server there. When I got sent a code and pressed join nothing happened.

You have to install crab game (windows version on mac yes) and then launch the one you installed from here and steam will recognize it as crab game and everything will be fine

Dani needs to update the mac version though because its currently at 1.28 and 1.29 is out

hey yo get the game for Windows on itch or else you know the drill

there is a windows version on steam

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1782210/Crab_Game/

plz make it on window cuz steam version is terrible

yea

the itch.io version is the same thing

(1 edit)

they all require steam anyway so it would make no difference

edit: spelling mistakes I suck at keyboarding

both would be steam version cuz multiplayer needs to connect steam servers

why is there no windows version:(((( i can't download steam becuase my parrent didn't allowed me to download it:(((((((((((((((C

just make a free steam account without your parents knowing, its that simple

you're 7-9 years old probably, you shouldn't even play this

(-2)

im 11 :/

bruh

soooo i can sign up it if i age 11 or can't?

you need to be 13 or older, but nobody really cares

For some reason, when I open it, it just closes.

(-2)

why couldnt you make a windows version :((((

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1782210/Crab_Game/

It works, just download the game on steam and launch the game on Steam. (you must have this version downloaded and itch.io active). For some reason, you cannot create lobbies though.

You have to play the mac version here, playing it on steam is only for window so you can't create lobby

mac bersion is horrible

MAKE A WINDOWS VERSION

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1782210/Crab_Game/🗿

The Crab Game (Mac Silicon) application works on my 2020 Macbook Air, but no servers are showing up, and copying any sever codes will not work.

same dude

You need to have opened steam in the background

(1 edit)

I do have Steam open in the background.

Update- the 64 bit version works, although the build needs to be updated

i cant open crab game on mac i need help it opens and automatically close

(1 edit)

Linux Bros play the Steam version using proton it works with multiplayer i tested it

from what i now proton need vulkan to work so first verify if your gpu has vulkan support then try using a proton version 6.3-7 https://www.protondb.com/app/1782210

(+1)

(1 edit) (-3)

Make the size SMALLER go to navigate to Setting and click Video and click Resolution and choose a smaller size that you are Comfortable in and turn off the Fullscreen Mode and BOOM! No lag I tried it out myself and I'm the one who found it.

(1 edit)

Can you all stop complaining how the game doesn't work? He definitely knows by now, and is probably going to spend the next few days fixing this free game that he CAN'T EVEN TEST, because you're ALL complaining about it (and on the first day of launch, no less)

Please. Have an ounce of patience.

i get it, i know that, my comment wasn't even that rude

lmao he just needs a new build

i understand how he cant test the mac version (kinda) but then again he can make a mac vm to test it on mac and use something like wsl to run the linux version still dont think everyone should complain like children tho

Btw windows version works under winehq on linux

Unachiver thing

???

what version of wine are you using?

Make a new build
