Listen, I don't know about any of you but as soon as I downloaded it and tried to play it weird stuff was happening. The game was hardly responding, apps I had never seen or authorized started popping up telling me to update, and when I tried to delete the game it wouldn't let me. The file name kept changing, it wouldn't go to trash, and even after force quitting the music kept blaring. I admit this may be an issue entirely related to my own computer but my device has never reacted this way to any other game, itch.io or otherwise.
It just doesn't run... I double click on the .exe file then a loading screen pops up for less than a second then just disappears... Nothing after that shows up
yeah. if you cant keep up with dani's ghost then you wont see the shortcuts he uses. Just before the five consecutive hairpins there is a little dirt ramp almost that you can use to jump across and skip two of the corners. this will save you 10 seconds easy. you can also skip the last corner by jumping off the birm backwards through the finish line. Dani doesn't do this and yet still has a fantastic time which is why he is god. I like the FD RX7 the best since it is speedy boi but a bit trickier to control. The 86 is great as well and so is the first car you can unlock from beating dusty desert on normal. Other than this you need to know which corners to drift and which ones to grip, but honestly on this course you should drift almost everything. Start the drifts early and straighten it out quick. Keep it clean and use my second shortcut to beat dani!
Controls are hard but satisfying when you understand it. Only problem is the AI which is dumb and when it rams you from behind while you're drifting gracefully it makes YOU look dumb as well. Otherwise, nice banana delivery simulator.
the controls are wayy to sensitive and the tire just become slippery as heck when you drift , when you accedentally turn and the you want to go straight you just drift like crazy and you cant recover, when you wanna recover you just drift the other way
i've seen alot of people complaining about the physics,i do hate it to,but i dont think dani will ever update the game considering he never update the other games like milkman karlson
Yeah physics are a bit tricky but you can get good with practice. If you cant drift then dont, the grip runs for most tracks are almost as fast and some corners faster to grip

You COULD have said "Wow this game kinda sucks. The controls are really bad and its a super hard game. Maybe Dani could've done x, x and x to make it better." But, Then again, do you know anything about game design? You haven't uploaded any games to itch.io, so if you do, and think you could make something better, id love to see and play it. But until you are a game designer, don't just yell at people for having bad games that were made in the span of a few months (or weeks, we don't know how long he was working on the video and the game)
id call myself a game designer, seeing as im working on one right now, although i moreso compose/draw for it than design it. if you want a real review, then dani should...
1. fix the driving, way too slippery and is almost impossible to keep yourself on track 2. quit filling the games with memes or in-jokes, they weren't funny then they arent now 3. fix the difficulty, easy is still borderline unplayable
4. get better presentation
5. PLEASE stop getting the same guy to do the same music, his style is immensely noticeable

God damn thats harsh. Its a pretty good game you just gotta use a controller and practice a bit. Most fun ive had with a racing game since project cars 2. It has it's issues and the physics arent perfect but thats kinda part of the charm. Didn't have to break the game to beat it btw, but to beat danis godlike times you need to use the shortcuts that he built in.
No need to have a stick up your ass, while I agree that the whole 'reddit thicc milk funny' thing is annoying ,there's no need to go out of your way to go and say 'this sucks balls'
I really enjoyed the game and would love to see more content added. Overall a super fun game with challenging gameplay, banger music, nice car modals, and most importantly, it can be played with a banana.
super fun ai keeps destroying me on the turns also its funny how if you do the tracks in reverse but go through all the checkpoints you can still pass the course and as a bonus the ai just implodes on itself but on the akina downhill you cant scuff your way through it cuz if you try the ai kinda speedsup by a lot so you are screwed
the controls are infuriating, everything is monolithic except you, you touch anything, a car, a fence, THE FUCKIGN GROUND and the next thing you know is that your car is upside down and you have to restart the level (yes I got flipped by touching the ground multiple times and I only played for 30 min). Can't do any fine adjustements, combine that with the above and you get an unplayable piece of garbage. -1/10.
Really fun game once you get used to the controls.... that is if you are playing on time attack. Physics do not apply to the A.I. cars and they will ram you and screw up your entire race completely. Also, I know that this game is supposed to revolve around drifting, but I feel like this game really over does the drifting mechanic, as the cars feel way TOO slidy. You can be doing very well, then all of the sudden, you barely push the car a little too hard, hit a fence, spin, and your lap time is ruined.
It's alright, but here's a few things that can be improved.
Car Feel - The cars just feel slidy and unorthodox, so genuine racing with them is somewhat hard, but just goofing around in Time Trials is fun as fuck. If the cars had a bit more traction so that you could turn without sliding/drifting and were grippier in general the game would feel so much better.
Tracks - A lot of the circuits have the road slightly above the ground mesh, so getting clipped on them is very common.
"AI" - Is merciless and will ram on sight if you are too slow. 10/10.

yes, couldn't agree more. you lose so much friction coefficient after initially breaking free, and while this is actually realistic the difference is too much in this game to feel quite right. all of the cars behave like 4wd which is fine once you get used to it, but only the evo, gtr, and cybertruck actually are 4wd. all of the others are rwd only which would make cornering a lot different. also braking is jank af. no coast when you take off the throttle so almost like braking, then the brakes immediately lock your tires and reverse you so thats kinda weird. I didn;t make the game so i don't know how much this stuff would take to adjust, but this is not far from something i would buy lol
So since you made your own banana controller to play the game with and since I am way too small brain to make my own banana controller, I decided I would make my own banana VR-headset which is very real and very functional. I'm very glad it was compatible with the banana vr headset, because it was an absolute delight to play this game in such a realistic experience!
I've been playing the game some more outside the video and although it's quite the challenge, I genuinely had a lot of fun playing it hahaha! I always love a challenge!

honestly i think dani should put an invisible wall or clear part in front of the fences to make it not as frustrating when you hit the fence
