hi can i ask , why i can't bond with monsters outside of garden , ... it seems i have to be able to bond with monsters in my army to level them up ... but ic an do that with limited number of them in my garden , in description it says i have to be able to bond with all monsters in army , but its seems impossible outside of garden
it would be cool if there where 2 bonding modes, one where there's just one looping animation (but still different every session) , and one where an animation plays matching the script the whole time.
Hi, I have question. Why I cant load the save file? When I press save button on game it says task successful but when I relaunch the game and press load nothing happen. How to fix this? I use the .exe one . My version is 4.07
Had the same issue. After you install the game thru itch's "install" button, - you need to manually launch the .exe without the itch inteface: just double click "Tentacles Thrive Alpha v4_07.exe" file in wherever folder it installed itself. Solved the issue for me.
The save file is called "TTv4_Save.sol" which should be in C:\Users\-user-\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\-random text-\localhost\-your itch.io install path-\Tentacles Thrive Alpha v4_07.exe\
You can check if its being created/updated when you save your game.
thanks for the game the game play is easy to move around it so i can force it the way i need which is great but i ran into a problem when i trained monsters into areas for special items i cant get the monster back. for example i trained my blood star for a special rock in the valpines and another in my royal party to find feathers on the lower bank but they both disappeared from my party and can no longer be used in battle nor retrieved from finding resources.
Hey is there a reason combat and some story might not be showing up? I keep seeing comments about combat and I see the screenshot but I haven't had any introduction to combat and I'm around day 50
EDIT: I've also just realized that I haven't found any gold or minerals
Got a bug to report. I was conquering the surroundings, and right as I finished the battle against the lowerbanks, a commoner tried to talk to me, making the map uninteractable. I figure that part is intentional, but unfortunately his speech box doesn't appear, so I can't proceed. I have no way to explore or return to the secret garden. I reloaded, and the same thing happened at the lowerbanks. When I tried to explore, the fact that I can't click on the map means that I broke the game completely, as there doesn't seem to be a way to get out of exploring without making an attempt
Figured out that it only occurs when I give birth as the battle ends.
I’m surprised by how i have 0 complains about the game, the art, storyline and combat are really good so far, can’t wait to play the future updates! :)

I found that the game will encounter error and fail to respond if bonding tentacles higher than Lv20 (to activate some new scene). This happened to multiple tentacles to me (Nodder, Dolphy, Oturo, etc.)
Yea, sometimes it might be tricky though, but as long as you figure out where the save file actually is, and where it should be to be properly loaded, it shouldn't be a problem.
Hello. Have you considered adding keyboard shortcuts to the game. If they happen to exit, where could I check them? I was especially interested for a shortcut to get to the home tile on the map.
Dialogue didn't show because that "story" hasn't been added to the game yet. The Octoseal and at least half a dozen others don't have completely finished scenes, so you'll have a bunch that will do that with placeholder text till they get added.
how do you make a tentacle injured? I can't progress the instinct unless I can nurse something, which you cant do if they aren't injured.
I know hunting says they have a chance to be injured but it hasn't worked, even after sending out tentacles with low camouflage and senses to hunt many times.
Hmm, hunting with the same monster many times should get it done. Monsters will get injured once their stamina is used up. If it doesn't work, it could be a bug. Let me know in that case.

Now anyone where i can find the the savegame folder? The location on the pc. I have a few problems : when I try to save the game Tentacles Thrive v4 06 " the game doesn't save them " :(
probably your computer cant handle them or you have something interfering with them, some apps can do that. and theres aways the possibility you have a virus. or maybe your computer is just too old and you need a new 1.

Are you not able to summon them back through Intelligence screen?

Instinct unlocks all types of skillsets, including Invade, if you haven't already.
If you mean the Instinct skill you unlock at the near beginning of the game then I already have that.

Yea, sometimes it might be tricky though, but as long as you figure out where the save file actually is, and where it should be to be properly loaded, it shouldn't be a problem.
