It was hard to make sense of it at first. And i still don't understand what am i doing half oh the time.

But the more i play. The more i drawn into it.

And i realy liked obtaining monster cards in battle. 

In my opinion. Having more agenda over wich battle to pick, would make your game more unique and intersting.

At this point, z-offset is officialy my nemesis.

Actualy. After all the feedback we got. I was thinking about  mixing in some safe zones, where player can rest from constant spider attacks.

It is pretty blunt in enemy behavior and level design, hence the harsh difficulty.

Spider is a bit relentless. Should've given it some inderect attack tasks as well. Like setting a web or something.

As of pressure plates. It is z index. We messed it up while doing last minute (literaly) commits in git. And realised the problem several minutes past deadline. Since it's not a game breaking bug, we decided it would be fair to keep it in a spirit of the gamejam.

Vibe is on point! Controlls are matching the genre. 

I didn't get the pipes i needed tho. New pipes should't be entirly random in my opinion. Or mayby player needs other source of pipes with more controll over type of a pipe.

As a full time developer in a big tech company for last 6 years ... Yep. This is how it goes.

The gamplay, the graphics, the audio. So lovely. So consistent.

I'm not sure walking adds to the expirience. 

Would've been nicer if player was stationary with more field of view. So more attention can be devoted to aiming.

As i was uploading "final" build, literaly minute before deadline, i hear my frend facepalming...
So yeah)) Preasure plates are on top of everything on 2 and 3 level.

Yeah physics is all over the place. We decided it was ok for a jam and focused on different parts.

Art direction is realy solid

Sadly enough we didn't find fast and easy solution for graphic setting in Unreal :(
