An engine in 9 days plus a game is crazy man, gj even for only having tried this and an extra gj for getting it actually to work in 9 days, I don't even know where to start if I ever wanted to do something like this damn

Love the game for real! I myself am a guys who loves a game cinematic, nonetheless my favorite games are mainly singleplayer action-adventure story games and this game was just that and I loved it! I really did, got nothing else to say actually, I just loved this keep up the good work!

The good old agency haha, trying to survive and meeting the quota just gave me the right feels! 3 lvls is also a lot for a Jam, good job on that! The only problem I found was that my inventory bugged and items started to count as 0 or even -1 and couldn't pick up items anymore

Really great game! The crawling part is just on point and the combat just feels natural and fairly deep, love the whole experiece and the humor of it all, I really can't say much cause this game is just perfect as it is so yeah, great stuff!

Impressive volume of a game for a jam! I like the space exploration part of the game and basicly 3 lvl being available, the envoirments were very good and the enemies cool, the final boss too! But I don't really dig the no ending type of ending, fells like incomplete, you know it's like everything I've done in the game is just straight up useless since I'm not really going anywhere, but still overall the game was good!

This game graphics are so polished damn good job!
Loved the setting and the enemies, atmosphere was good at the start but the music at some point stopped and never came back, you should mark the doors more as something interactable, at the start I was stuck cause I didn't know I could open the door and I often ended up not seeing most of the door just to find them after a double check, all in all tho I like the game and finished it properly! The graphics are the strong point!

Loved the movedment and the destructable envoirment! But  I really couldn't find the key stones, I spent quite a bit of time bombing all over the place but I don't know I just found one :')

Damn this game was a blast, I really loved the looping rooms and the moment of realization, and after that the monster just coming out of nowhere that legit scared me ahha, every thing is also so damn polished and well put together, the only thing that bugged me was the last fight, I mean, I hit him so many times with the sword but couldn't kill him, and the thing is that I wasn't even sure I was supposed to kill him even after finding the sword, I mean you train me all game to find the differences and avoid the monster and the last challenge is about timing and attacking and all, should have made the sword just a one hit kill weapon but I mean this is just a small nitpick cause I really like the whole game!

Had a great  game session! Wasn't really smooth cause of the lengthy but unchecked navigation, at the start those golden bells things on the ground looked liked items so I like spent 10 min just trying to pick them up just to realize that you can't :'), and also items did not work properly, I just couldn't equip some armor and weapons and also couldn't use the armor and the sword together, but even so, the game visuals were polished and the setting very curated! Maybe the scope of the map did not give you the posibility to polish the game as a whole but all in all it's a fun game! And yeah I also finished the game ahah, I don't know why but I had two hearts in my inventory, also, the magic proficency ap cost is 0 right now! Almost forgot to mention haha

Good setting and atmosphere! I like the idea of "platforming in a dungeon-crawler" even tho it was a bit clunky sometime, the challenge there! Also the protagonist was real fun haha, I know this was supposed to be scary and stuff but the protagonist's attitude just made me smile a lot :')

Thanks! Yeah I never played a dungeon-crawler before so I did not know what kind of feeling I was supposed to get from the combat so I just went for a different style!

Yeah I was crazy thinking it was okay for me to do this ahah, the urge to not sleep was real but I managed to do the whole process in a rather sane and healthy way so I'm happy even tho yeah there are a lot of fixes, I'll be sure to update the game post-jam, also glad you like it thank you very much!

Glad you liked it! The scenarios I thought about were quite a lot,  would have loved to put more foreshadowing so that you could go on smoother but I'm happy you made it!

Yeah it really is slow, I never made a dungeon-crawler and didn't know if I was supposed to make a run button but just now I realized that a simple "Hold to go forward" would have fixed the issue, thanks for the feedback!

Cool game, I like the atmosphere and the setting but the gameplay wise it's really jarring, the combat are really long, not hard, they are just too long like a chore and the intricate exploring goes against the limited time you have cause of the falling tiles, other then these problems I like what you guys came up with it's really a game game if you know what I mean :')

Nothing actually, I litteraly did everything I could in the few days I had, this gives me the rare feeling of "being completly happy with your Gamejam Game" haha, I know my game is missing a lot and has a lot of flaws but I really feel like I directed my energies very well this time and feel like I matured, dunno this is getting deep anyway this is my game I need to do some advertising otherwise I'll come back here to write "Wish I advertised more" lol

That was very well done, very nice feelings I got out of this, tense, strategic and also scary, I was able to escape and even tbaged Cthulhu infront of the door while he was stunned, very very cool :')

Very good and straight forward dungeon-crawler, I never played a proper dungeon-crawler but this is exactly what I think they were, it's just that clear and cool, good job had a blast!

Very cool graphics and combat system!
I like these two a lot but the exploration holds this back soo much, going into right path into the maze is so jarring that I stopped playing, I mean, I really don't know where I'm going once I switch walls twice, go around a corner and switch walls again, still, the presentation is soooo gooooood.

Also I think it bugged while I was playing and the background music track playing doubled and I started hearing 2 desynced songs plus the desynced combat music

What a gem, loved it, addicting, played for like 2 hours, also I'm such a sucker for Trim

I wanted to respond and elaborate about the secretness of the secret so I replayed the game and actually found the fourth ending so now I can actually state valid thoughts!
Yeah I mean, you are definitly right with your intentions and I can agree with it but also I'll describe this ending as such "A clueless enigma", since it's clueless there is no lead, so if you look for a lead in the first place you are already lost and that's what I did in my first play through ahah, the only (Clearly stated) clue I had was "There is another one!" to be fair there is another clue but you really have to be desperate and be trying anything, so I mean, that's it, I still enjoyed the ending just like how I enjoyed the whole game ahha and make of this comment what you want! No right answers just my description of it!

I like it, I do find it a little too random but it's not that much of an issue, I'm indeed a fan of XCOM games but the kind of mash and see if you can don't really match my taste, randomness apart, the game is great looking, sound is awsome and overall presentation is just "Genuine", very awsome!

Very cool game, nicely presented and also polished, I kinda found the shadow figures funny, maybe adding sound to the encounters or making them appear in a tight corner would have been more scary :')

The presentation is awsome and really cool, the ambience is crazy good and I loved it, but turning feels really jarring and for me 40% of the difficulty lies on just trying to understand how to go through the forest, with 60% being the managing items and enemies, also I feel like the setup of it all really is naturally very hard, the placement of tombs is really random and there is no telling were they could which makes the game really tedius and less enjoyable, overall I liked it and it's really polished but I dropped trying to get the alternative ending after 4-5 retries in easy mode ahah, maybe I'm just bad I don't know

Great atmosphere, great presentation, great narration and the sense of mistery and discovery, nothing to point really cause it was really all good, just one thing, I really couldn't get the fourth ending I did everything I could to see all four ending but I couldn't find it and it bugs me a lot, I think it is part of good game desing to make secrets not too secret but this is just a small nitpick in a really good game!

I played the whole thing!
Really enjoyed most of it, but the beginning was really tedius, not everything is really explained or maybe I just didn't see the explanations, at first I just leveled up and then went in the maze, the levers felt a bit confusing, really liked the battle system and I tried all the combinations in the first encounters cause I didn't actually know what could I do, so far I figured only slash and stab cause the "trying out part" was just at the beginning, it would have been nice having a manual to explain the moves, and also the spells, the first time I encountered a lost soul I was stuck in "Resisting" and I didn't know I need to use the RIP move, also it bugs when you die, the game revives you at the spawn but you are still in combat, after the first death and also having learnt that the RIP move kills the souls I just speedran the game spamming slash or stab after maxing spirit and never used anything else, loved that part ahah, after a while when only one soul I felt the tediusness of the exploring, the map helps you but you really have to wonder a lot and since the tombstones felt really randomly placed in such a vast area but after 10-15 mins of wandering I found the last tombstone!

Overall good but the deathbug plus the exploring and the first minutes of playing really held it back.

Presentation was very good! Loved the graphics, sound was good but really lacked music and ambience!

The idea is very very engaging, loved to see how killing the black cubes spawned more of me but the gamedesign has a major flaw, since that every cube you kill spawns a copy of you in that same position, in later stages of the game once you get down in soldiers it is practically impossible to come back, killing the cubes spawns more of you but they instantly get eaten up by the other black cubes around it, this wouldn't be a problem if movement was more permessive in the game, the fact that the space where you can move is so small makes it so that you can't even skillfully stride away from the enemies, also the having such a small space leads you to just corner yourself when you have many copies of you and restricts you into having one single strategy option right at the start when instead at the start you want the players to be able to experiment in this kind of endless games and come up with a strategy that suits them and such strategy tested in the late game, think it like Call Of Duty Zombies, the gameplay is pretty straight forward but what add variety to the gameplay is movement strategies, guns, bonuses and enemy types and by the 30 round you have a set of weapons and perks that indentifies you, look into one those aspects when you'll upgrade your game and also make the map bigger or make it bigger based on how many copies there are of you or of the enemy!

Fascinating and ispirational, might not be a game by definition but to be games are art and this art is very very pleasing ahha, also this is so ispirational that you actually gave me a game idea with this same presentation, this could make for a really really fun game in my opinion!

Also when I say art, I also mean audio design and music which were amazing! Check out my game!

This game as a lot of potential, I like the idea of getting different abilities but at some point even those feel powerless and I don't think it's a good thing this is my only complain , I very much liked it, played it more then other games and the art looks so polised.

But at the end I have to consider that I played the fixed version so be carefull next time and plan out to finish at least a day before the dead like for some play testing, I also have a bug in my game but I don't feel like it would be fair to the other partecipants to release a fixed version during the jam!

Also I'll check this out again when you'll add music and sounds to it ahah, check out my game too!

Ok I'll start with the things I liked, I like the game idea a lot, the fact that you can make enemies your own allies is something that make for a very fun and chaotic game, the graphics are very simple but looks sooo clean and the audio is so clean too, if you did everything right I would have thought that this was a release ready game ahah but there are some flaws that, to me at least, are total turnoffs.

Now about the flaws, enemies take way too long to kill, you shoot projectiles at a slowfire rate and enemies are super resistant, same thing for the components, this makes the assault approach hard to consider, going stealth is very approcable but the fact that when you get to a component it litteraly takes forever to destroy makes you just stand there pressing the mouse button for like 10 seconds and feels like a chore, also when you make an enemy an ally, the other enemies can recognizes them but allies don't actually follow you so they end up screwing you up if you are trying to make as many allies as possible since red enemies cannot be turned.

I really really like the Idea, that's why I want to give you as much criticism, I like it so much that one day I might get inspired by this and these are my thoughts if I had to improve your game to fit in my likings and undestanding of gamedesign.
