Lovely game ! i really liked the art it's so cute haha, you nailed the topic, the audio is good and it's super well polished, awesome job !!

Im glad you enjoyed it!

The game was really  charming and was pretty well made!

The black and white art style was really good, just loved the whole simplistic and kinda chill vibe.

One annoying issue with the game was how you could kinda soft lock the level and would be forced to restart every time you forget to move the food to the next area, it was pretty annoying having to reset all the time, though I saw other people have mentioned it and you working on that.

I also found a bug on my second restart of the game, where I clipped through the first area as I was trying to exit, and got out of bounds. Not sure exactly how I was able to do it but thought I should probably let you know lol.

Anyways, good job on the game!

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback! As you know I'm working on the soft lock issue, but I had no clue about the out of bounds thing! I have an idea of what might be causing it, so I'll see what I can do. Thanks again!

Fun puzzle game, I really like the simple art style and music/sfx.

The art creates a unique style, which we really enjoyed! The idea was creative too! Maybe you could work on the music a bit more.

A great entry overall!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing

I did like the game a lot. The Menu and the screen transitions are really nice. The gameplay is interesting but a bit confusing at first. I would allow the player to go back to previous rooms. If you leave some of the food in the other room you get stuck.

I really liked the simple but effective art and the good music and sound effects.

Noice!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for the feedback! I completely agree that I should allow free movement between the rooms, it would really make the gameplay more fluid and less frustrating if you make a mistake. I'll definitely work on that :D

Nice Art Style and Great Game. Loved it

So there is a bug that I'm not sure if you are aware of it or not: For the first level that requires 2 donuts to unlock, I have picked up both donuts at the same time and squeeze through the exit, but the camera did not follow the player and was stuck in the last room. I cannot replicate it again, however, butthe bug does exist, trust me.

Developer(+1)

Hmm thats a bit odd. After the jam I'm planning on going back and redoing the camera system using some code that I just learned, so fingers crossed! Thanks for the feedback

Really enjoyed the game, I loved the unique art style and the audio was nice. The only difficulty I had was understanding the multi pickup mechanics (and I didn't manage to finish the 2nd level due to not working out how to get the box to pick up a donut at the same time as I was holding the box and other donut.), just seemed a little tricky in terms of puzzles.

Would love to see this continued though!

Its a little hard to control, but I like the idea, puzzle, & art style. You got a strong foundation going, keep improving the game, good job mate!

I love this game!! The music is so good!

Glad you enjoyed it! :D

Very interesting concept to need to hold a specific amount of things to unlock the door. I was finding myself getting stuck trying to move multiple objects through a doorway, and then getting stuck after I moved through it and having to restart. The audio and graphics were nice. I was a little confused about what some of the objects were that I was picking up (the one that looked like a box). Overall, it was a fun puzzler. Nice job!

Developer

I understand the moments of frustration. I was originally going to implement a camera system that allows the player to move freely between rooms, but unfortunately I couldn't figure it out in time. I'll most likely go back and add that as well as a more complete tutorial to lessen the confusion. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice puzzle game! There are some things that others have already said (like a door between rooms and pick-up problems), so I can only say the music is very pleasant and the graphic style is good (but donuts could be more... yummiest).

Really cool looking game with a fun to use mechanic, although I had look at the spoilers at the bottom to even realize I could grab two things at once.  Also sometimes when you press C it doesn't pick it up and you have to micro adjust to get it.  Are the doors supposed to not let you back or is that a bug, I had to restart for one of them because of that.  Besides that the game looks really polished and the music and audio ques really add to it.  Really well done and I don't know how you were able to do this in a week, really cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that it isn't very clear in some parts and I'll probably go back after the jam to add a tutorial/adjust a few things. The only reason it doesn't let you back to previous rooms is I couldn't figure out the camera system lol, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! I barely got any sleep throughout the week so Im very happy with the result.

There was a cool puzzle element that needed a slight polish to the mechanics. The level designs were cool and they made since to the game, however the main mechanics tended to be a little inconsistent and without the cheat sheet you provided, some of the areas would have been like "I didn't even know I could do that?!" which comes back to game design, since I think introducing the players to all the mechanics in a safe way that didn't involve completely restarting would have been a very nice addition. I like the concept and it could easily be expanded upon.Nice work!

I completely agree. After the jam period, I will go back and tweak some of the buggier aspects,  add a proper tutorial, and  a camera system that allows you to freely move between rooms. You can already restart the level with R, but I didn't make that very clear. Thanks for the feedback!

Overall a very solid entry though, dude!

Really like the colour palette and feel of the game. Very nostalgic!

Looks great, sounds great. Fun to play. I could see maybe a little animation on the antlers or the doughnuts just to indicate when they had been selected. Just to make it clearer if you have grabbed both or not. Also I did find out by mistake that if you dash instead of walking through the gate it doesn't load the next scene(not sure if just lucky angle or maybe scripting movement and it "jumps" the trigger).

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I noticed the same thing recently too, I think it's because the triggers themselves are actually quite thin, so I think you're right that it just skips them entirely. At least it's a fairly easy fix for after the jam!
