Just discovered this, but wow! Russian translation :D

I don't need it personally, but I know that a lot of our folk do need it. Thanks for caring! :)

Came for the hot stuff, stayed for the (surprisingly) well-written story. Probably the best NSFW game I've played in recent memory.

Hey, thanks a lot, that sentiment is always super appreciated!

One more thing the other comment when I posted the review and suggestions of your game.  What I try to say by animation and voices in them. Could it be similar to Small Top & Cloud Meadow Animation that's what I meant not a complicated thing just that from those two games I've already mentioned I on already. Can you think about it for next future 😉

Sirlzike  it’s me travalor87 can you somehow show pictures of the trench, down some holes, and in a handful of other places in the desert? The tall pillars do not count for shelter. Look like so I can have it stored in my memory and remember where to go and not to go when I’m in dunes. Again. ☺️

It's really not difficult, and I'm not going to share a picture because each of the shady zones looks slightly different.

From the entrance there are two nearby shaded areas. Follow the boulders and cacti to the RIGHT, and then walk straight upwards after the second cactus.
Or you can walk forward about twenty paces forward, then walk to the LEFT and you'll find a shaded crevasse with blue water in it.

Remember to walk around in the shade to reduce your exhaustion.

Idk if i'm the only one but when i try to play it on my mac, an "unknownerror" pops in. does someone knows a solution for this, please i really want to play :c

Alright. I'm going to give you some step-by-step instructions. Hopefully this works for you:

First things first, have you properly extracted the folder after downloading it? If you don't do that, the game can't properly access the save system because it's still in read-only mode. Make absolutely sure you've extracted the game after downloading it.

If you've done that, the next thing to try is this:
Make a new folder. Call it whatever you want, and you can move this wherever you want later.
Open the ZIPPED Grove file you downloaded.
Open the new folder you just created.
Click and drag all of the contents from the Grove download to your new folder.
Try running the game again.

If you've tried both of those things and it doesn't work, let us know and we can proceed with next steps.

Amazing storytelling is exhilarating, but the glitches need work, especially in the desert dune zones, for the time limit of heat exhaustion. I would recommend it if you put a special item. That must be required on a higher-level basis from 16 to 20. That will allow plyers to eliminate the desert time exhaustion. That time is only achieved if they defeat a small quest. That will only take 29 to 40 minutes, minimum. After defeating the quest, you'll face off with a deadly boss that has the power to turn anything into kinky latex or bondage desires that will consume the Grove character if the player that is using him succeeds in defeating each and every kind of sexual entity that wants to turn all males into sex slaves for the rest of their lives while being used for public use or milking them through day and night. Also, you know that one scene, like the drone suit. Turing grove into a latex suit I wish there were a way that could be like the underwear garments special boost that can contradict the corruption attacks from any sexual entities trying to consume Grove while using the most powerful anti-curse latex suit oddity in the realm. Similar to the cursed underwear. One last idea, you know, when Grove gets defeated with all enemies and goes to lewd sexy scenes, can you somehow animated sexual scenes like a real actual animation along with voice actors following saying the dialoged out loud. with their characters, animation length would be couple of 5 to 10 minutes? before the gamer over appears, that would make it not just awesome but also make your game unique. Just a small reminder you don't have to follow the animation part it's just an idea a suggestion just in case you want to build your game more interesting.

after obtaining enchanted clothes to travel across the desert dunes. I constantly die even if just one step.  Saying that I already have heat exhaustion and take on shelter. After crossing only a few halfway across dunes for a couple of seconds I die constantly and yes I try different ways, so my character doesn't die. Every time I try across dunes I always return to the same stop where the entrance begins. Can you please help me or tell me a way to cross the dunes without the game saying that I am already heat exhausted even if I didn’t even cross halfway through the desert? Showing me where my character can rest shade without costly dying from dune heat. I'm sorry I'm responding like this I'm exhausted I've been playing 2 days straight I leveled up to level 20. Please is there anyone who crossed the dunes without dying constantly? Also, this is the first time I have ever been invested and enjoyed a game, especially this one I give Grove 10/10.

Shelter can be found inside a cabin, in a trench, down some holes, and in a handful of other places in the desert. The tall pillars do not count for shelter.

You need to walk around in the sheltered spots to lower your exhaustion. You can't just stand still. Walk around for several seconds and (if you have UI effects on) you should see Grove start to recover. The game will also make a sound effect as you recover.

Move from shelter to shelter. If you are starting to get exhausted and haven't found shelter, go back the way you came and try again in a different direction.

Finally, your destination is in the north-east (top-right). Look for some stairs going down.

Hello, I like this game of yours very much, I have a few questions about this game.Do you have any plans to have a separate quest line for Grove once it reaches a certain level of corruption, similar to Tuan? I hope you can answer my questions.Thank you!

(+1)

What I mean by this is that when some players are on a quest and if the Grove Corruption reaches a certain level, the player can choose whether they want to accept the Corruption to continue the game with the Corrupt faction or be a normal person

We know a lot of people are interested in a feature like this, and it's something we're often thinking about. We also are aware that such a thing would effectively double the amount of content we'd be making for the game, if we wanted a "corrupt path" to feel meaningfully different.

We can't make any promises about such a feature. But we can at least say it's an idea we think about a lot.

Hello Grove development team, it’s been a long while since I’ve have the pleasure of talking to you all! I just wanted to say a thank you and ask a question. I redownloaded the game last week and have been playing it in between my studies, and I still absolutely love the story, art, character development,  and the twists and turns. I have to say, based off of my previous statement, that my favorite moments of the story are still when we acquire the first of  the “interesting” items and its after effects (and oh my when that scene first happened I was in awe for days), and when we take a trip down to the water and see a quite little jello fellow with a growing~ desire to help our little blue dragon. Overall, such an amazing adventure with creative cuddly (sometimes too cuddly~) characters, NPCs, and opponents, and absolutely awe inspiring art! Please keep up the good work.
Also, talking about good work, I was wondering if the game has since been out on HAITUS. I was worried that the game is being put on the back burner due to the Grove Team loosing files, life prioritization, or other things. I would just like to ask the status of the game, whether on HAITUS, developing still, “dead” or any other status.

Either way, thank you for such an amazing game, and I hope that each and everyone of you are doing amazing! Stay safe!

Hi, thanks for your kind words on the game. We're glad you still enjoy it so much and think so highly of all the content and moments in the story.

As for the status of Grove, it is still on "Hiatus".
We're hard at work on a new update for our other project, Prowler. Once this update is complete and released later this year, we will return to working on Grove.

Ngl, it'd be pretty neat to have an in-game "gallery" like in Small On Top, diegetic or not.

If you're just looking for a place to rewatch scenes, it does have one of those. Unless there's some feature Small on Top's gallery had that you're specifically talking about.

wait, can somebody help me with this part?im seem to be sstuck and don't know what to do about when reached to the Northern Gulch i go into the light which is upwards and then when i go into there it says "stymied by the act of nature, i am forced to go back into the camp" and it is also impassable too and then i am back into the campsite.

After that i have no idea how to continue the story.

Starting from the Inn, walk straight down until you can't go any further, and then go to the left. Follow the path out to the cliffside, left as far as you can, and then head downwards again. That'll put you on the new path.

Oh, thank you so much Creator of the game! Your help made me progress through the Story. I literally didn’t saw the path at the cliffside at all.

Just finished the ending which made me sad because i loved it!

Came here for the NSFW (because that's why everyone else is here and you are 100% lying if you said you weren't) but was shocked that not only is there great art but a entertaining story to go with it.

When progressing I figured the Inn was a one stop shop to rest and buy items like any RPG.  But when I noticed that the settlement was really expanding, It got me invested into the details and looking forward to what will happen next. There were a few times i had to slap myself to realize why I was originally drawn to play this game In the first place!

This has made me looking forward to checking often for updates and when prowler Is finished. 10/10 game for me. <3

Hey there, thanks a lot for the very kind comment! As the one who writes a lot of the story, it's always a great pleasure to hear when folks "came for the porn, stayed for the plot".

We hope we can recapture some similarly enjoyable vibes with Prowler later this year. And Grove once more after that. Thanks again for playing, for the kind words, and hope you enjoy what comes next!

I'm kind of stuck. I'm at the cliffside cavern. and am blocked by a locked cell. where do I find that key? it's for the area in the cave with the red slimes after using the mine cart. Also where can I find stronger equipement?

That door cannot be opened yet. Your destination is actually back in the cliffside caverns. You're looking for an archway, near the mine cart. Head through and down the stairs.

You'll be able to get stronger equipment soon. After you finish some events down there in the caves, you'll have an opportunity to do a bit of shopping.

yea I know of the archway you're referring to. I'm currently staying in place and am grinding levels. The enemies are pretty strong in that next area.

Don't forget to use all your various abilities and items. You should be able to clear the cave at level 4-5!

I'll say there's a useful magic ability you can use against slime foes, that you may have missed. If you have any old saves from back in the blue slime forest... there's a certain person you can rescue, and they'll give you an item that works as a 'key' to access an area with a useful spell!

(1 edit)

the rookie adventurer has been saved. I do recall him mentioning something about a certain place surrounded by slime. But have yet to find that location. There is that one rune that I cannot pass due to paralysis. I'm currently level 9. I have gone through the forest multiple times now but nothing really stood out to me. Unless that rescue can expire? Then i might have missed it. Otherwise I might go look for him. Also once you leave the forest. A certain key item loses power. Is that also permanent once you have left the forest? Can that item be recharged somewhere?

You pretty much answered all your own questions! Yes, you need to rescue the rookie, get that item he gives you, and you need to use it to pass the 'paralysis' thing.

And yes, that item does expire when you leave the forest, so you need to do it before leaving. And yes, there's a way to 'recharge' that item too.

Hi! Love the game, been playing it every now and then. But uh, I think I ran into some problems? I can't seem to access my saves. They exist, but the game won't read the files or something. I'm only around 3 hours or so into the game, and in the second digital world area so honestly I'm not too far into the game, but I kinda don't want to lose the progress i already have.

Any advice as to what I should do?

Did you extract the game from the zip file when you downloaded it? If you don't do that, the game can't actually write new save files since zipped folders are read-only.

There's an inconsiderable amount of lag when you reach to level "Your room?" and carries on when having to reach to a study room having to hit the buttons.

Do you happen to be playing on an external USB drive / Hard drive? I'd recommend you try running Grove on an internal drive (such as placing it on your desktop) as USB struggles to process the rapid image checks.

Let me know if it works out!

- Regalbuster

I do tend to have GROVE on a main drive which is my desktop but something could be fact of performance issues and also the jump pads also causes lag issues when not activated by the altar necklace

*small spoilers ahead if you haven't played the game"

Hi, I have been trying to complete what has already been made for the gallery but I have one that I still haven't been able to complete even after looking around trying to get the scene with the tipo of "the memory is covered in some white stains, and the skins of an unrecognizable green fruit...you walk into a small farm something green catches your eyes..."

Like the closest I got to unrecognizable green fruit was the apple (the only other thing similar to that that I found was a dream scene.) but I have already checked all the farms I could remember to no avail.

So I would really appreciated If someone were to answer what do I need to do to get that scene, because I am well and truly stuck.

This can be found fairly early into the game. After rescuing the blacksmith from the slime caverns, travel one screen to the right of the Inn. The beginnings of a farm will be there, and a box of green fruit... try eating one.

The fruit should stay there for quite some time. I don't recall when exactly the cut-off point is. Try looking there now, and if not, try going back to an earlier save. You can unlock gallery chest with earlier save files!

what I do in the cliffside cavern camp? I don't know to  I don't understand how I keep playing from that point. I got stuck

There should be a pathway to follow through the cavern, past many red slimes.

Near the bottom of the caverns is a minecart railway and an archway. Pass through the shadowy archway and follow the path into the next area and defeat the enemies inside.

Thank you so so much❤️
