I know some versions of windows have had issues running renpy games. Using compatibility mode might help. Though you may need to try a few different versions. I think compatibility mode windows xp worked last time I saw this

The PC version
unless laptop users don't exactly have accessibility
so long as your on a windows based laptop you should be able to play the game. I am unsure about mac based laptops or netbooks.

do you get a specific error message when you run the .exe?
