In level 2 I opened the wrong door and got stuck because the only locked door left had the only key left.
A bigger issue is that when I pressed A to quit the level (or any level i found out after), it wouldn't let me select animals again and i was stuck without being able to move or see an animal, making the level unbeatable.
Just beat the game and it was fun to play! Wouldn't mind if you added more levels in the future if you're planning to do more with the game. I was a bit confused on how to complete the tutorial level since there wasn't anything saying that I needed to get back where I started.
Discovered that I could get out of bounds in the game through this vent in level 4. It was fun wandering out into the void and later figuring out that the barrier out in the void was a hidden room full of treats that I missed.
This is a fun game! The tutorial is grand but a couple things threw me off. I wasn't certain I was supposed to return to the entrance after cheering everyone up, and it took me a moment to realize I could not be pet holding an item, in the top left corner at the start of my play.
This is a good combination of a cute idea and a perfect execution. The gameplay is really fair and intuitive. I could see someone getting really addicted to this. I think the addition of hidden secrets like a 2d zelda game would make this next level fun too.
For critique, I think that some of the UI feels a bit out of place next to the pixel art graphics and pixel art UI for being much more high res. Maybe you disagree, but I felt like it made the game a bit less cohesive. Some of the resident's hitboxes were a bit odd.
You definitely earned the spot of most popular game of the jam! Super!

Aced it! Loved it! Wanted more Of it. Extremely, good puzzle solving, got me several times, def one of my favs so far!
