I found a bug. There's a level where there are 4 spikes, and it's kind of like a spiral. I guess you're supposed to jump over the spikes, but if you turn around and keep pressing to go all around without going over the spikes, just before getting the star the character will continue walking midair :)

very cool game! I got stuck on the level with the 4 platforms where the fire guys are going in a circle.

ended up on the lower right corner of the lower right block - character can only change direction here, not move or jump.
