beauty but so hard

Thanks for playing. It is a bit of a maze.

Interesting game so far but could I ask that you increase the mouse sense maximum a bit? Because It's still to quite slow for me :(

Also it would be good if the settings would save because it is super loud everytime you start it and changing it and the mouse sense everytime is a bit annoying.

Alright, I can do all of those things. New build in an hour.

Thank you very much :D

But I tested it and the mouse sense is now saving if you restart the game but the audio isn't. Is nothing you now need to instantly upload a new build for again so just do it if you changed a bit more ^^

Oh you're right. That'll be a quick fix, thanks.

Game is pretty spooky, but I have a couple of major gripes
1: The sound design isn't great. Especially the footsteps, they should have randomized pitch
2: Look sensitivity slider. The current sensitivity is so ungodly slow even with dpi at max (which makes my cursor practically fly across the screen)
3: The music is a little loud

Thanks for playing, I'll add some more options.

Added a sensitivity slider and adjusted some audio. I'll do more audio work tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback.

I do have another suggestion, that being a map.

Due to the nature of this game, I don't mean a traditional minimap.

Just a top-down map of the area, with no player marker on it. Maybe have a couple symbols on it that  line up with certain symbols in the game? For example, in the starting area on the map, there would be a star icon, and in the starting room in the game world there would be a large star on the floor. (I don't mean just the starting area, like one of the larger intersections could have like a circle on the floor with a circle on the map where that is too)

This would encourage players to use the map combined with their surroundings in order to try and figure out where they are, but would also make sure they don't rely on it too much because it takes time to figure out your location.

That is a clever idea, but I don't want to add a map to the game. I could definitely go back in and add more landmarks and unique areas though, I think that could help with navigation.

That being said, getting lost is apart of the design, so most of it is intentional. I think the game world is small enough that eventually you'll just map it out mentally.
