This game is so incredible, and its one of my new favorite rhythm games out there! The songs are so good and the character designs are so well made. even though there is limited amount of game-play right now I know when it is finished it is going to be such an amazing game! If you press enter the very second you die, you can continue the song while in the game over screen, pass, and still get points. Not like you get much though.
you might just need to reinstall the game and if that doesnt work then just download another unity game and copy and paste the unityplayer.dll file into the game folder. the second option is something i havent tested before but it might wor
Very cool game! Only one problem, with my Xbox controller A pauses the game and plays the note. I don't know if this is a controller or game problem. But PS4 controller works for me.
just played the entire thing and as a rhythm game junkie, i really like it so far! the only issue i've noticed is that the L symbol is super hard to see on pink bars, so i ended up missing those notes a lot
There's one issue I've spotted, if you don't skip the intro to Grease Poppin', and then press shift once you reach the "Take a breather" part, it speeds up and skips the rest of the level. Then, the whole game is sped up like you're fast forwarding. I'm pretty sure this is stackable if you can get to the same part in Grease Poppin'
Let's ignore the fact that I'm stupid and got stuck on the tutorial for longer than intended, this is a great little game. Can't wait to play the hell out of it.

"[man] i don't know!") which could use some sort of cue, too;

This is absolutely amazing. I've been wanting something like parappa, since I never actually played the game... I've played a lot of FNF, so it wasn't hard to get used to it... But I just gotta say I love the art style, the music, and I love how the songs are also cutscenes like parappa. Amazing game, I cannot WAIT for more.

Firstly, I'm in love with this demo! The music and the art is so catchy and charming! I for one can't wait for a full release!
Second, there's a couple of bugs I think you ought to know about: the most important of which is that when remapping your controller, in order to remap specifically the buttons which are both face-buttons and the "select" and "back" buttons it forces you to clear the buttons which are start and select because it causes a conflict (despite the fact that those settings are technically conflicting by default).
The other bug I found was that if your status is "lo-fi" at the very end of Poppin' Grease in quick-play mode all the background chatter of dissatisfied customers keeps going into the rank screen and doesn't stop until you go back to the menu (which was admittedly amusing).
These bugs aren't so bad that you'd need to fix the demo specifically so long as they're not in the full release. All the other notes I have are really minor things (like how the score meter at the end of each song fills really slowly and is unskipable, and how an audio indicator for when it's your turn to sing would be helpful).
Really looking forward to seeing development updates and eventually a full release!!! <3
I love the style of the music and art, but the core rhythm gameplay needs some fixes. There’s no (easy) way to tell, when playing a song for the first time, whether the phrase is going to spread out over 1 line, 2 lines or half a line. Half a line is visible at least, but it’s still quite hectic to react to. Consider adding an audio and visual cue like a record scratch when the track switches from NPC to player.
Also on the McWave Burger level, one of the longer phrases extends out of the bar across the screen, then wraps over into the second line. It’s very difficult to play for that reason.
Also please make the notes opaque instead of translucent on the note bar! It’s hard to see them during a game!
I like the artistic direction and the parappa type gameplay but I have alotta gripes with most of the gameplay... Call and response is very difficult as there isn't a build up towards the first note or anything to CLEARLY let you know that your part is coming, control scheme is hella unintuitive and feels like driving a truck through mud even on controller (especially for record notes [using a dpad or stick since ps4 sticks will make two inputs if you're off the axis by even a bit]) (Controls might be TOO ambitious...), music is a bit rough due to tts being off key at times, overworld is barren and a bit large given the character's fov and sprite size, you cant interact with stuff that looks interactable in the overworld (passed out fellar in front of your house right off the rip? [At least a textbox would be nice), people have exclamation marks over their heads when they have nothing new to say, unsatisfying feedback from Melodii's response during songs (no sound or clear indicator that you did well other than the numbers at the end) (Melodii reacting to the player's verse is an option). I LOVE THE ADAPTIVE CUTSCENES BASED ON WRONG OR RIGHT NOTES AMAZING DECISION.
Again, really cool ideas but the gameplay design makes it really hard to enjoy... IM HELLA ROOTING FOR THE CONTINUED IMPROVEMENT OF THE GAME.

Maybe actually explain what they are instead of just saying "experience" I actually went into the files and sifted through everything that was available, and there was nothing. Maybe you clicked an ad or something?

So you know the line? There's a bug with it.
Basically, the symbols on the line are inconsistently placed (for the keyboard symbols at least I'm not sure about the other ones).

This was really fun! It really gave me "PaRappa" vibes while also improving on that base formula. Can't wait for the full release! :D
