Dude I had high expectations after Once in a Lifetime but the bar was raised higher with this update, that cliff hanger was *chef kiss* a sin to be that good.
Downloading now :) I played the last update and was blown away. Developer has a fantastic sense of humour and the scary scenes are legitimately scary in the best way. Can't wait to play this.

Also, in most hentai games the developer stuggels to write a decent main character but you definitely know how to write one. Once in a lifetime's MC was great but I think Eternum's MC is even better written.
Agreed the MC of that game was well written. There are many games where the story and characters are great but only a few where the MC is well written and compelling. I think Once in a lifetime, Eternum, Life changing choices, Trouble in paradise, Desert stalker & Maids and maidens has the best written MC's. Ravager also deserves a spot for try something unique and different.
BTW, for me Trouble in paradise is an underrated jem.
While this isn't directly related to fleshed out AVN MCs,I think Harem Hotel gets a pass for me.Even though the MC in that game is bland like many others, the narrative is self-aware about that and doesn't try make him be more important than he actually is. He's only the driving force for the real stars of the show, the LIs. All of them are fleshed out and are central to the worldbuilding and story of HH. For me,HH is how you should handle an AVN MC if you're going to make them a boring self-insert.
I definitely agree that Cari's games do have well written MC that feel like characters with their own personalities. And I get why most AVN make the MC bland,At the end of the day people play these for the porn and it's easier for self insert. But, if you're going to have the MC play an important role in the plot at the very least you could give them a personality that isn't cardboard.
This is getting exciting every time, the end of this chapter left me with the intrigue of seeing who the founder is, I can't wait to see what happens next.
I just wanna say that there’s probably a bug in the gallery for Dalia “Still waters”. I played the route where the MC punched the dude and MC goes after Dalia on the beach, but when I checked the gallery its still locked. Unless, that scene was not “still waters”.

Another great chapter! Still loving the wholesome way the various relationships are developing and the depth of the plot. I was not expecting the Alien reference, but it was cool to experiment with the various outcomes, and I’m very curious about the long-term consequences of some of the choices there and elsewhere. And boy, what a cliffhanger.

During the heist, just after the sniper headshots one of the Expendables, the door plaque behind him reads "202 LAUNGE" (should be LOUNGE).
During Cornelius’s call with the Security Officer at 10:01, "reinforced jam" should be "jamb".
On the beach with Dalia, after MC says "You want it so bad, don’t you?", he moans but it looks that might be supposed to be a response from Dalia?
At the Doyle mansion, when Calypso says she "used to be feared across all the Eleven Kingdoms", should it say Elven?
in that case you didn't win the bet i suppose. after gag reflex scene dalia and you will bet on something ,if you win and do that punch stuff i presume you can see this scene

so far im enjoying the game and the story. the plot is nice the twists are cool even the one "scary mystery" server was cool. But as it stands at this exact moment ima need the sound track playlist right fking now cuz the song playing in the bedroom after that mystery server was epic. i need that song on repeat now!!!!!!!!!!

First, want to tell you that eternum has a good potential. I mean, because eternum has a lot of servers and every server has different theme. So there's no limits about the story, you can make it into action, fantasy, horror, sci-fi and more! Already looking forward for the next content and don't forget give us more surprise!
Last, I'm always curious since play this game. Did you put some element from another game or movie as reference? Like Nier:Automata, SAO, Ready player One. Let me know about 😁 and see you on the next update! Maybe next year i guess lol
i have the feeling that the MC is some kind of a beast, because Lix Tetrax is a demon in Salomon's book, and the greek message sounds like a summon ritual, maybe this can explain why he has such power that even Calypso was surprised, maybe this can explain too why the little girl insist for him to not open the card, because he wasn't ready to deal with his powers, i guess that his powers are sealed, and the card can destroy that seal, but it will take some time for him to be consumed by the darkness inside him. The card is like a fertilizer, it will make his power grow, the problem it that he will not have control. And maybe this can explain why the phone call tell him to find Calypso, she could be the key for him to control his powers, and maybe this can explain his visions, those visions could be peoples who made a pact with him in the past, this could explain why they look inhuman, when they summon you, you give some of your power to those peoples, and your power corrupt them, and you can see them because they could act as a way to remeber you of what you're capable to do if don't control your power.
I don't know how you do it Caribdis. Once in a lifetime was excellent, and Eternum is easily the best adult game out there right now. I'll be playing v0.4 soon!
I absolutely love the mystery parts of the game and that creepy nursery rhyme thing gets me every time. Just finished 0.4 and thought the heist was really good. I kind of expected it to go either really wrong because Chang is, well, Chang, or go off without a hitch which is funny because he's a dipshit. I was not expecting the whole Ocean's Eleven vibe which i really enjoyed. With the Spaceship bit, I really like horror where there isn't straight jump scares and the atmosphere while listening to those logs was great. Lastly, the cliffhanger at the mansion was wonderfully done, you really know how to leave them wanting more. No pressure but this is by far one of the better VNs out there atm.
Also, I agree with Kura-chan, the eyes on the Praetorians leave me feeling some kind of way.
Fun fact: in my country, everyone is always waiting for September, 3rd just because of some fucking song (horrible song, btw), which mentions this date. It's ridiculous, yet this year I was waiting for it too..
So, let me tell ya, this is THE BEST AVN ever! Plot-wise, girl-wise and many other things-wise.
One question though: is the Walkthrough intentionally void of details in the spaceship scene? I've played one branch atm, and there are choices there that seem important enough to be put in the walkthrough (spoiler-free: handcuffs/eggs in Vasil branch).

Man, I've finished 0.4 already, and I've gotta say, I continue to be even more aghast with every update! I think this time I gotta make a longer review, really. So, there will be spoilers down there:

I think here is good maybe.
So, the game already started GOLDEN with the heist. It was really cool! For a second I thought "oh no they've failed", but then they pull an Ayanokoji on me and I realize I had been bamboozled together with the guy they robbed to think the plan had failed when it was all a part of the plan!
Then, we have another horror session in Annie's date where it's just basically Alien Isolation, and it was really cool! I specially liked the recordings too, I loved listening to them and the VA fucking nailed it. I do wonder what will each path you can choose in the station lead to though, I just hope I don't have to go back on my save to play a different path from my definitive one in the future.
Then we have the ending, it was really tense! You love ending each update with a cliffhanger, don't you? It's cruel 😭
All in all, it was incredible! 0.4 barely came out and I can barely wait for 0.5 already!
Holy shit this game is so good! I enjoyed Once in a Lifetime and saw everyone raving about Eternum and it completely lived up to the hype. The writing is so funny and interesting, the characters are so well done and the concept is compelling! I honestly couldn't put it down, amazing job and I can't wait to see what is in store for us in the future!

Hello. I just got done playing 0.4 and I can't tell if everything about the game keeps getting better or if it is already perfect from the start (probably the latter). The music choice has been spot on since I started playing for each scene. Unsure how you manage to do that. I plan to support you on Patreon since you truly deserve it. :)

If you're on PC, your saves will transfer safely.
If on Android though, make sure you overwrite the app so that the saves aren't lost.

I would say 'Tales of the Unending Void' is one of the exceptions with a well written MC.
