Also, I'm actually so down bad for the characters I'm trying my best not to go full awooga so just know the whole thing has been filtered to make me sound, well, sound of mind HHHH.
I'd been looking for a while now for a visual novel with horror+romance elements in it and I found so many amazing ones that I enjoyed, and yet Something's Wrong With Sunny Day Jack is one of the most unique games of this genre I've ever played. Sometimes I play videogames where the artstyle is straight up gorgeous but the story is a bit lacking, other times the writing is very rich but the music won't do it justice and some others they're both good but the art isn't very memorable. This game right here? It has it all. It's been a long time since I've played a game this interesting and you know you have something great between your hands when it's just a demo and yet it's the only game you have been thinking about for the past week. To think I did come upon it a long time ago and had no idea it was just my kind of game! The story is extremely intriguing in a way you wouldn't expect it, the music fits so well and is now stuck in my head, the artstyle is especially outstanding, it's the first time I personally play a game with this specific style and can we talk about the voice acting? Simply delicious. Honestly, I'm so happy to have found out this studio, needless to say your games have become my comfort games as well as a source of happiness. This right here is one of those cases where I'm not even bothered by the fact that I might have to wait a long time before playing the full thing, because I just know the wait will be so worth it!
There's so much more I'd love to praise this game for and express my thoughts on but I don't want to put anyone to sleep with my rambling lol lastly, I just wanted to say your games are the reason why I decided to finally make an account on itch.io, totally worth it, should have done that sooner.
Keep up the amazing work, I'll definitely be looking forward to any updates on this and your other games! Now please excuse me while I go replay the whole thing for the umpteenth time..
I have to say it, im down bad for the froyo customer guy. The hair, the emo look, the blush come on. Shot through the heart basically started playing in the background when his sprite came on screen. I want him to be a romancable character so bad.
I created an account just for this studio alone, I have now played one and a half of their games (Half comes from... DachaBo, don't blame me!) And they both are amazing. Just, "Extended demo" is just that. A demo? This game will grow, yes? I see potential and this studio is one I will keep an eye out for. I may not have much to go off of but this may be the best studio on ich.io, or at the minimum the best visual novel one. So my best words go out to you, devs, here's hoping they don't fall on deaf ears (No insult intended)
P.S: To ask in human terms, this is not the whole game, right? There will be more? Here's hoping

I tried the free demo available on Patreon and was deeply disappointed. I was hoping what they had here was still going to be worked on. The demo on Patreon was not even half as long and the character designs have changed for the worse. I can’t afford to back every single patreon, so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see if they ever actually finish the game.

It is a demo. I think Snaccpop said sometime in 2024 for a full release maybe but I'm not entirely sure, they've been releasing other games alongside this. If anyone is reading this and I'm wrong let me know lol

so, because of my amazing intelligence (my trust issues) I started suspecting jack. then when he started talking about how it would be better that he got rid of Ian, I understood that he was manipulating us, AND I WAS SO MAD ABOUT IT(maybe I did trusted him a little) then when that one guy asked if we had a boyfriend and said all that, I WAS ABSOLUTELY SURE THIS GUY AIN'T THE GOLDEN RETRIEVER I THOUGHT HE WAS

So mad because for some reasons the game won't download (it says the game isn't on the site?), either way, I played the original demo and let me tell, this, THIS, is probably one of the BEST games I ever played and I play a lot of these visual novels. If you're looking for something spooky with a hot man with a hot voice ready to be next to you, just play this game lol
finally i was able to! all i did was turn off safe browsing in security. go to settings in chrome and you will find it under privacy and security... you can turn it back on once youre done downloading 😌
