Pros

-Ina, Ame, Kiara, Calli and Gura's Trident are Great!

-Yellow is SUS!

Cons

-Gura speed is so slow and her hitbox is too big, may be impossible to doge from bullet hell

-Boring boss fight, because I hate I-frames (Invincibility frame).

-Why enemies or bosses are use I-frames? It's take so long (I take more than 30-50 seconds to kill 1 enemy).

This game is not pretty bad, It's so boring

Playtime: 50 min

Where can l download this game

Just the download button above

Pretty good, not gonna lie.

I had to download it from the website since the app wasn't downloading it for whatever reason, oh well.

Very nice. The addition of random Gura lines ever now & then during gameplay andthe "wh'cha" when selecting menu items is great, among other things. Truly a masterpiece!

Have a good day/night.

Thank you and have a great day too.

The healing is so little, and combined with me sucking at bullet hell and not knowing what Gura's hitbox is... there's a hole in my wall now and desk kun has maybe a generous sliver of .5 hp left. So, let's go in depth...

Please don't interpret me as a hater or anything, I actually enjoyed everything for the most part, I just want to get the criticism done first. I just... don't often rage quit things, but the Cyber Hunter boss brought me to that point. After multiple attempts, a hole in the wall, a nearly bruised hand, and a fear of hurting anything else, I called a very angry quits.

Some suggestions would be either buffed healing or more fish during certain bosses, a dash feature to allow for evasion when needed, maybe an option to show Gura's hitbox, even if it's just a practice mode? And finally, the special pickups could do to spawn a bit more frequently, 2-3 times per stage instead of 1-2. Especially when that's the only thing that can reliably damage late game bosses.

I said I wasn't a hater, so now it's time to prove it. There's actually a lot that I love about the game. Firstly, the controls are tight and responsive, which means that most deaths don't feel like something cheap and/or out of player control. It also makes winning stages feel earned when they're particularly difficult. It adds a sense of accomplishment, which may be a weird feeling to get from just a control set-up, but it's present nevertheless. Secondly, the visuals are amazing. Whenever I've played or seen bullet hell games before, it's always a layout with the playable character starting from the bottom and being able to work their way up the screen, a la Touhou, so it took a bit of getting used to doing a side-scrolling style for this type of game, but the thing that managed to pull me through that is the impressive visuals. Everything has a very unique look that helps distinguish to which part of the screen one would want to go. It helps that this also allows for more dynamic backgrounds that were always a gem to look at. Thirdly, the audio design is God Tier. I haven't had this big of an audio rush with any kind of bullet hell experience since the always-satisfying sound of the Master Spark. Defeating a boss and hearing the stage's enemies and threats around you die out with it is music to my ears. The audio clips were always very fun to hear, helped by the fact that they're crisp and easily recognizable. I also got a chuckle whenever I made a complaint out loud and it was subsequently repeated by Gura. It made the experience much more enjoyable.

Overall, I'd give the game a 4 out of 5 stars. The criticisms of the gameplay are the only hinderance, but I'm not going to rule out that it might just be me being trash at the game (and bullet hell in general). However, for the most part, the gameplay is seamless and extremely fun, the audio and visuals are amazing, and the game overall is just a very impressive masterpiece!

I appreciate your comments. Maybe Cyber Hunter is not a well-done design for boss fight, but I will take this experience and try to design a better boss fight for the next game. Thank again!

Best bullet hell I've ever played. Super fun, thanks for the Gurate game!

Thanks for playing! :}

That was such a good game man, good job. I even played the game on my channel

Thanks! :D

希望Gura本人和更多人可以早日見識到這個作品

謝謝!

So good. Just wish the the powerups comes in more often instead of 1 per stage...

Thanks! I'll think about it!

God, I feel like that's a necessity given how hard later bosses are.

Hey! I played through your game and I really liked it! I'm a big game design nerd, so here are a few comments I had

Good lord, this game had some really amazing good points. Like, I can't believe the quality you put into this. The animations are so satisfying, and the backgrounds make the whole game come alive. The controls feel really tight and natural which is amazing for a bullethell game. Sometimes during the boss battles I felt like I was playing Cuphead.

In addition to the visual aspect, the sounds were incredible and fit so naturally into the experience. Gawra's chatter, the sounds of guns and collecting powerups, it was all really well-done. My personal favorite part was using the powerups, and being amazed at how well you put the rest of the cast into the game. Their soundclips, powers and animations looked genuinely professional, and I could tell how much love you put into them.

The enemies were also really well-designed. I appreciated how each one was introduced as a boss so you could learn their attack-patterns one-on-one, then thrown into the fray as a normal enemy later in the game. It made things feel like a genuine test of skill rather than getting instakilled just because you don't know what a certain telegraph means.

I think the most well-designed enemy in my opinion was the siren boss. The attacks are multi-directional and prove more dangerous the closer you get to the boss, meaning you have to be ready to sprint in and out to get hits in. My very favorite part though was the music note attack in which the siren would send musical notes to slowly follow you. This was a stroke of genius. It forced the player to keep on their toes and be in constant motion, dodging and weaving between enemy attacks instead of making small, calculated dodges. This brought the game's strengths as a bullethell into focus, and the fight was really enjoyable.

In contrast, I think the cyber-hunter was a little overdone. Wheras the siren introduced interesting mechanics that changed the way you had to approach the boss fight, the cyber-hunter simply put as many bullets into the water as possible with little rhyme or reason. I think I would have preferred a scaled-up version of the siren, perhaps with all of the other enemies thrown in.

Anyways, those were my thoughts about the game. All-in-all I absolutely loved it, and I hope that Smol Ame's popularity will help boost this game too. I saw some superchats in today's stream urging the girls to try it out. Maybe Gawra will even play it some day? We can only hope.

Thanks again for creating this amazing game, and good luck in the future!

I am very grateful that you like this game so much! It's so touching when every time getting the feedback. That makes it worth I put into designing the game.

I think Cyber Hunter is a tough boss. Some players also think that this is more difficult than the final boss. Next game I will be designed more precisely by this these experience.

BTW,  the next game is planned to be an original story and characters, although it might take more time to finish. Hope I can get your support again when the game is released! Thanks! I really appreciate it! :D

Idk, Cyber Hunter does have an attack that will pretty much hit you no matter what if you're not lucky since there's no way to tell where the attacks will land.

Love your game! It's really nice to play when you're frustrated with another game and want to calm down and/or have nothing else to play. That's when I boot it up usually though, so I don't think I'm speaking for the others. Though there would be something that would really make the experience better for me and maybe some other shrimps out there. If you could implement a "save" function, where you could save the game at any point before shutting it down. Though the "Continue" option is nice enough for now, but for example, if you have to shut of your PC, for something important, a "save" option would be nice to have. Anyways, nice game and I hope that you continue to update it, as more and more people find it and hopefully play it. Really gureat!

Have a gureat day,                                                                                                                                  ~A fellow Shrimp

Thank for your thoughtful comments! I'm so glad to see that you like this game! I promise to do my best. Cheers Shrimp!

Thanks for responding! As i said It IS gureat already, but please make sure not to overwork yourself! :> Cheers

Hey man nice game! It's made very well imo and gives me an idea of my own. Could I ask a few questions if you don't mind?

1.where did you get all these sound clips from. is there some website or something to get them? or you clip them yourself?

2. the art I presume you did it yourself? If so was from photoshop/paint?

Reason I ask is after seeing your game it sorta inspired me to develop something similar with RPG Maker and would be nice to find some resources I could possibly use. I will probably do my own art though just need to know how to go about it.

The sound clips I want to use but not sure where to find them. Obviously I will give you credit whenever the game gets done. It probably won't be for awhile though since i usually take time with my projects.

Anyways like i said if you prefer not to give me any answers I totally understand and respect that. Again though you made an awesome game and I think you should continue it and add more content to the game down the line. It could really be something really great.

Hi! First of all, thanks!!! I'm so glad to see you like this game.

1. These sound clips are all cut from those HoloEn girls stream, just like the videos of other fan works.

2. I used Aseprite to draw all these work.

Hope these answers can help you! Good luck with your game development! :D

Great Thank you! I am not that great of a artist but I used the trial version and seems easier to use than photoshop.  So I think ill be able to make something out of it. Yea I plan on making some sort of dungeon crawler with a story tied to the Hololive EN girls. It's going take awhile maybe close to a year before i finish but hopefully it be worth it when completed. Anyways do you plan on continuing your game? Adding more content to it or are you basically finish with your project? Either way it's a really good game that you developed in 4 months you said correct?  Good luck to you as well!

Yeah it took me four months to develop this game. I'll try to fix some issue for this game and plan my next creation. I want to develop a new game for original character and story. I still love Hololive but I eager to create a new story by myself. It's a really tough work but I'll do my best! Anyway thanks again! :D
