I sadly also ran into the crash while level 4 was loading. What I could play of the game I liked a fair bit. The colored lighting reminded me a lot of the original Deus Ex.
I actually found a way to get around the crashes, if you install the patch, delete the reshade by deleting the "d3d9.dll" file, and you run the game through Windows 7 compatibility mode, it crashes a lot less or even doesn't crash. I hope this for somebody to be useful, becuase this is actually a really good game!
Not bad, but the level load crash, it isn't ready. I'm eager to see the full game with this error resolved. This game reminds me very much of Chaser—this is great old school FPS action.
Thanks! That happens to a lot of players and I hope to release a new .exe some time in december that will fix it. However, if you wish to continue playing, you can just load your last save and the level will load for you then.
Interesting! That never happened before. Alright, thank you for letting me know. There'll be a new version out some time this winter that I dearly hope will fix that issue. (and hopefully run the game at full resolution.) There is also a sequel on the way if you happen to be interested :)

Really cool game experience! It crashes a lot, but it's enjoyable. And the level design and art direction it's just wow!
