I really liked the simplicity of the controls. I assume you are going to get even better graphics/animations than your previous ver. at some point. The music was really good. This demo was fun so you are going in a good direction.
Definitely a fun srpg and surprisingly fluid control. I would play the game if it's finished. It really pay homage to the genre.
However, I find the representation a bit lacking. It took me awhile to realize they are actually hp blocks. Imo, the top left "party stats" should have shown the hp so i don't have to hover to individual.
I liked the demo a lot. The AI is competent enough to do some serious damage if you're not careful, and I had fun coming up with the most strategic placement of my units for the most amount of damage.
This has serious potential, I'm looking forward to see where this goes. I think it would benefit from a little UI work to match the game's aesthetic, and some shortcuts that don't require me to move my hand as far. If there was an ending, I didn't see it. After killing the last goblin mage on a map, I passed the turn and got hit by the late goblin's electric attack, then after that it automatically passed the turn back to me. Some kind of victory screen would be nice. Also, a minor note: It seems like going through water didn't affect how far you could move, when really it should slow you down to at least half the distance you'd normally go.
Overall, very impressed. I'm excited to see where this goes!
Surprisingly neat little tactics game. I normally don't like tactics games, but this one seemed simple enough for anyone to pick up for casual play (if it stays simple) with the ability to evolve into something more complex. The graphics maybe a little too simple for me without it having a distinct style that stands out (or it just seemed kind of blurry at the default zoom). Overall, would pass time with on mobile as a non-tactics game player.
