Wow great little puzzle solver!! excellent game

Haha love it!!! Beautiful music and artwork! So cozy. Every now and then the bird gets stuck on a block, but overall great game!!!

Wow thank you for the incredibly detailed review and for playing the game. Yeah It's certainly not perfect, still learning the craft of building games with unity, but I was pretty happy with what I got done

Oh I agree, I had intentions of adding more art to the environment to fill the house, and more enemies just ran out of time.  I also did notice the items that you couldn't hide behind after I posted lol. Oh well. Appreciate the feedback and you playing!

(1 edit)

yeah clunky sums it up pretty well lol

Definitely works best with headphones. Unique take on game jam focusing on audio aspect.

Cool idea, left me wanting more cases to sift through. Wish there was more!

Way too floaty controls on the main character. Some Slight tweak to character handling would drastically change how this game feels

Wow this is an awesome submission!! one of my favorites so far! love the atmosphere and the lighting! Really nice job guys

Great start mate!

A little repetitive, but looks good!

This game looks absolutely stunning! great art work and animations! My biggest complaint is that the game just feels too slow.  Maybe try shortening the map or creating varied locations? I don't know just seemed very repetitive after the first 30 seconds

I certainly wouldn't say scary, but definitely a unique game! Some generally funny movements with good voice acting! Not much of a "game" per say but definitely an experience

Loved the demon kill animation

Ohhh I really like this one! Love the randomization of the modules really adds to replayability! Story could have added a lot to this charming little game and a few bugs here and there but really fun game here!

Really enjoyed the story of the game actually! Well done and well narrated. I liked the limited camera field and quick decision making required when you are chased

Love the limited camera, really gives that feeling of tenseness when moving around. Well done!

The chase sequences were excellent! Great moments of tension

Sounds good! I hope i can play

Game looks amazing!! I couldn't figure out what to do in the first part of the game so i quit out :( Perhaps give some hints to the player as to where to go when starting? Or provide audio feedback from the character as to where the player should go? I also really liked the way the intro cutscene looked, but I thought it was a little boring and detracted from the game experience

Good game! fun mechanic that fits the horror theme nicely

Great art work! Loved the choose your own adventure aspect to a horror themed game

Am I crazy or is it not working?

I actually jumped! I liked the background story and the presentation, but the controls only worked the first time. I couldn't get the light to recharge so once she popped up and I used the initial flash, I was toast!!

Holy hell mate!! Don't want to post spoilers, but what an ending haha!! Movement sensitivity was waaay too high. Definitely had a horror vibe to the game which was great.  Story was fun. great submission!

Fun and upbeat music, not necessarily scary though! Good idea!

Like the idea, a little confused though... I killed the deer but can't seem to get the food? I don't know lol. Those angels are creepy though

I liked the progressively challenging level design! I definitely think you went the hard way for player control, but maybe you want the player to have a difficult time with movement? Good aesthetic and sound to match

Huh, I guess I am confused? I think I died right as the game started! I couldn't do anything lol!

Fairly simple game. Great sounds! Perhaps give the player some feedback with instructions in-game? I mean really it's not too difficult to figure out, but always nice to have!

Thank you! I began making games I want to say in May maybe. So maybe 5-6 months? I'm certaintly not practicing with it everyday, but I would say it's a pretty solid game developing tool! Lots of power with using C# to write behaviors for your game

There was a lot more I wanted to add to the game including more items to the house and more enemies, just didn't have the time. Oh well, next time! Thanks for playing!

There were cutscene, but when I tried to publish the game in HTML, the game would crash when the cutscenes played. I added the game as a downloadable file that contains the cutscenes if you are interrested! Thank you for playing!

Ahhh! Sorry mate, wasn't sure you were going to respond to this! I grabbed a music guy off the discord page for the game jam already :( sorry about that, maybe I should have waited longer than two days before I started recruiting someone else! If you're still looking for a team you should head to the discord page. Definitely a lot more activity there and people looking to recruit.

Hey! Don't know if anyone has reached out to you, but would love to have a music guy to work with! I've done only a few game jams so far and I'm still learning the basics but if you want to talk team up just let me know!

This is the same game I developed for Mini Jam61: Ancient Egypt. Being a Spokane native I HAD to post something though! Go Zags!!

Love the music and artwork! Maybe could have used a tutorial level, but has really good potential!

Sorry man, I'm working on a Mac :( I should try and install windows on this sometime so I can play games like this more often
