I'm not asking for a site that don't host gay game. I'm asking for a site that isn't literally forcing them down my throat, or at the very least lets me choose when I want to see them. every other adult game is a furry gay visual novel or just unfinished. I'd also like a site that tells you just pick from game that are finished. Again there are 10 different tags for gay games but no tag for completed games, or games that you literally have to pay for monthly or you can't play them anymore.
That's the thing, because itch.io is an open marketplace, there are LOADS of gay games, which is the reason itch.io shoves them down your throat. Half the games (over exaggeration) are gay, so it's only fair half the recommendations are gay visual novels. Sure, it's really darn annoying, but there is nothing we can do about it, I'm sure the people at itch.io hate it them too, but I don't think it's very fair (for an open market) that some games are purposefully being left out by the algorithm.
There are 10 different tags just for gay content. Why is asking to be able to exclude those when I search for video games like asking to move mountains? I'm bisexual but I don't need my games to be about being gay. I'd prefer they be about having fun not the struggle of coming out to your family.

It's like calling Starducks an LGBT shop. Sure, there's such an overlap between the two crowds that it seems silly to expect there to not be any pandering, but that's not what the business advertises itself as, nor what people usually go to it for.
itch.io should suit your needs. Only about 0.5% of their games are about being gay. Happy to help!
This seems like you're trying to debate that the site isn't flooded with gay games when the number of tags say otherwise. All while agreeing with the point that you should be able to easily filter for what you don't want . Regardless this doesn't answer the question of alternative indie game sites and I didn't make this post to debate.

I don't think anybody here disagrees with your statement that filtering on itch is bad. The same can be said about just about every other platform, to a greater or lesser degree. Filtering is a hard problem to solve. If it were easy, then itch would have already solved it.
Anyway, it's possible that you would like GOG, if you haven't already tried it. Unlike Steam and itch, it's heavily curated, so fewer indie games, but what games there are tend to be higher quality on average. Also, very few gay visual novels, although there may be a few.
