Sure, you're welcome! Thanks for playing and I hope you enjoyed the game until the end.  Some caveats are to be expected :)

Thank you for the kind comment!

Regarding level 44, I just tried it to see what the solution was and I have to admit that it gave me lots of trouble too. And I made that level! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and I would like to give you a hint on how to solve level 44: try to create a tripod with the blue stars from the left side of the screen.

I made a quick Imgur video to show you what I mean. Hope it helps!

Next game I make I will  be more careful with how I design the puzzles/levels.

PS: yes, pendulums! :)

Thank you for the kind comment @ClaireIsBored! I'm happy you enjoyed the game.

Really creative gameplay and I think the mixing of Breakout and Gauntlet works surprisingly well! Who would have thought? :) It really adds a lot, because you can't fully control the trajectory of the projectiles and this uncertainty adds fun and excitement, in my opinion. Great job!

Thank you for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I agree with you, I should have added some sort of feedback once the portals were cleared. Without a "win screen" the player might think that something is bound to happen. Will add something like this in the future :)

The changing of the projectile sprite in mid flight is a bug and is something I saw only once the game was finished :D Thanks for playing!

Super cool that you made a multiplayer game! I liked how you said in the description that you creatively solved the inherent latency problem by making the game rhythm-based. Nice creative problem solving on display :) I hope you will continue this project! Great job!

Thank you for the feedback and for playing the game! :)

Really like the juicy effects that you added, like the screen shake and the recoil to the player's weapon. I also like the planning phase, when you get to place traps and structures before the enemy attacks you. Also, the music and the graphics fit the game quite nice :) Great job!

It's a fun game that reminds me of Hotline Miami! I like the room layouts, they add some strategy to the game and make you think about how you want to proceed. Great job!

I'm glad that you enjoyed the game :) Thanks for playing!

Really cool game with lots of very cool details, like how the camera zooms in and out when you enter a new room!

The music fits the gameplay great and the art is cohesive and you can clearly see what is happening on the screen. I like how you combined the gameplay of Snake with the theme of the jam. It's lots of fun to destroy the portals and to eliminate the enemies. And it's great that you get some special abilities to play with as well. Great job!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad that you enjoyed the game :)

Thank you for the feedback! I agree with your points, I wanted the enemies to spawn at different rates and to add different types, but I soon realized that I might not be able to finish in time, and I scrapped both ideas. If there will ever be a sequel, these two improvements are at the top of the list! Thanks for playing!

Really fun and I think the limit on how many swords you have  makes you think more strategically and makes the game more intense. Once you start playing you get in the flow of the game and it's a lot of fun. Great job!

Great atmosphere and I loved the small details, like how the trees have shadows, the little clouds that sometimes appear. Also, I liked that you added a small rotation to the tank, it sells the idea that it is a heavy machine. Great job!

Really fun game and I liked how crazy it can get if you don't plan your moves carefully. The floatiness makes you think about how you fly, and it really adds to the challenge. Great job!

Thank you for including the game in your compilation series, and for the helpful feedback! I'll have to work on tuning the difficulty in the future. And I'll make sure the enemies linger for less time on the screen. Thanks for playing!

Yes, but may we never need to call on them :) Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing and for the words of encouragement! :) I'm glad that you enjoyed the game!

Hello. I updated the game and now the game should reset correctly, and that is if the enemies touch any of the player characters :) So you shouldn't see any more enemy overlap over the player heroes. Hope you enjoy!

It wasn't grating at all! The music really keeps me in the zone in this game :) I know it's a central mechanic of the game, but it's really well done.

I just saw! If I get the time I'll definitely implement some changes. Thanks for pointing it out!

Ok, I'll keep an eye out for updates :)

Such a fun idea and relaxing game! Bonus points for creativity and for the uniqueness of the situation. As crazy as it may sound, I really felt like I was in that small clothes shop, with a huge giant supplying the materials for clothes :))

Great idea and implementation! Great job!

Really interesting concept. I think this prototype has great potential for a fun couch multiplayer game, where players fight to paint more and more of the level. And adding abilities is also a great way to mix things up, so congrats on thinking of that.

I like the music you have chosen, it really fits with the competitive nature of the game. Great job!

Thank you for playing!  I'm glad the game left you with a good feeling. What more can I ask of? :)

I think I should have added a way for the player to die if it gets hit by a rocket, as that might have added some more urgency to the task of escaping.  Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for playing the game!

That's definitely a bug, thanks for pointing it out! I should have implemented a better way to reset the game when the enemies touch the player, but I was running out of time and had to improvise :D I will be more careful in the future!

Thank you very much for the kind words and encouragement! Thanks for playing!

I think you managed to make the game spooky and I really like the cool effects that the gravestones have, like the fact that they react to your hits and that they sometimes glow. And the growls that the enemies make are very well chosen.

And bonus points for implementing a cool menu to the game!

You mentioned expanding on the idea in the game page, and I hope you do that. Hope to see more of this game in the future. Great job!

I think it's a great idea and once you get in the zone you just want to keep playing. And the music is awesome! Great job!

Wow, really cool idea and game! After a while you really get in the zone and you just want to keep going and get to the exit.

The music  is great and you don't get sick of hearing it. And that's very good, because you really have to master the mechanics in order to advance.

Great job!

Great music choice and pixel art! The game is fun and I like that you grow the trees and then you have to protect them. It can get quite chaotic after a while, but the game is still fun! Good job!

Very cool concept that you grow bigger the more enemies you kill. Really nice risk and reward system, because while it is good that you get the coins from the enemies you kill, that also makes you a bigger target, which is easier to hit. Also, I think the sounds you have chosen are really punchy and fit very well do the game. Good job!

I like that you implemented a story, as it makes you feel like you are on this grand adventure. The pixel art fits really well and the attack animations, while not overly complicated, are really well done. Hope to see more of the adventures of the Whole Fool :) Good job!

The particle effects that appear when you hit the roots is very cool, as well as those that appear when you hit the trail. I think that the minimalist graphics fit very well to this game, because you can clearly see the white trail that the enemy leaves behind, and the enemies in general. Good job!

The game's atmosphere is out of this world :) The music and the art style mesh really well together, and the creature's animation is unique and interesting. It really sells the idea that it is some sort of spooky alien creature. I love the dithering that you applied as well. Great job!

So it might be a small detail but I really like how you gave the illusion of depth by placing the cacti in the corner of the screen. Such a small and subtle effect, but I like it quite a lot.

The game is very relaxing, and it's great that you can correct your mistakes very easily. The fact that the blocks fall slowly adds to the tension. Good job!

Really love the art and the songs are very fun and happy. Creative lyrics and great voices :) Thanks for giving an option to download the OST!

Clearly a lot of care has been put into the game, from the cool menus (you even have sliders, a story and difficulty levels!), to the well thought-out effects and art style. Placing obstacles in the level is a really cool way to keep you on your toes (do snakes even have toes, though? :P). But even if you lose it's not a big deal, because you can listen to the songs again! And of course, the game is fun!

The nightmare level was unexpected and awesome! The light and dark mechanic really adds a lot to the gameplay and all the subtle effects (like screen flashing red when collecting an item) are really well implemented. Not knowing what is around the corner really sell the idea of a nightmare.

Great job!
