Here you can share your favorite books, movies, documentaries, comics, videogames, websites or whatever you want about anti-capitalism.

We are eager to know the small (but powerful) things you do to erode capitalism as part of the civil society.

We are eager to know concrete initiatives you would take to dismantle capitalism if you had political power.

Voting period already ends June 9th, but you're so convincing that we extended it until June 15th.
Thanks!

Great! :)

Hi! English version is not mandatory. Use the language you want.
The sad part is that no chinese streamer has joined (our reach is limited). If you know streamers that could be interested we can try to contact them.
Thanks for asking!

Hi, we understand that you are not aware of this, but it's a very uncommon behaviour to charge people for the music during a jam. So we will remove this topic soon. Thanks!

It was a really good question. We added it to the FAQs section.
Thanks again!

First of all, thank you very much for asking!

The idea behind that rule is that everybody can play the games without paywalls. The main goal of the jam is to spread the anti-capitalist discourse and payments go directly against this goal.

It would be better if you make other people lives easier during the voting week by removing additional steps to download your project. That said, if you submit "pay what you want" games or give community copies, please be clear on the description:

1) Mention that the project is a submission for the "Fuck Capitalism Jam 2024" (you can remove it after the jam).
2) Explain that users can pay zero or ask for a free copy to avoid misunderstandings (not everybody knows of itch.io works).

A lot of people try to use the jam to simply sell their games and, as our time is limited, we will probably ban games that are not clear about their intentions.

Of course, feel free to do whatever you want with your game after the jam. However, if you make the itch.io project a paid game someday, it would be nice if you remove its submission from the jam. Don't take this as an obligation, but rather as a good practice aligned with the spirit of the jam.

Hope we have solved your doubts.

Not joking: I betted a dinner that someone would write that, so you're like a prize to me, Paolo. Thank you so much! :_D
Apart from this, we will delete the topic in the next few days as it is not relevant to the jam. Thanks again!
