Lol! I am glad you liked it.

Thank You for playing our game.

Ps: I felt the same way when I played your game (it makes you really use your brain..), and it's very well polished in my opinion.

Yes, I will continue working on my game.

I also hope you continue working on yours, as it is fun.

Cheers.

Wow, what a original game idea.

Your game has so much potential (you could even teach kids how to program in C#, by expanding the idea of your game).

Very clever game design on your part.

This is a cool game.

I also liked the Lighting and the Sounds you used. As others said before, I would also play this game without a doubt again in as a  single-player.

Another idea (to maybe consider): maybe you could add some weapons... for instance: the ability to shoot arrows at some point of the game could be nice.

Thank you for submitting your game, I had a good time playing it.

I really liked your game!

It's funny that we both had 'almost' the same idea (regarding the mechanics: moving two Characters at the same time (in different dimensions), trying to get to a Goal at the same time - that was my original intent... but in the end for the sake of time (and for not making the game more difficult) my team decided to allow the Main characters go across the Portal / Door even if it is not at the same time)... the difference in mechanics is basically a 2.5D vs 3D: and even that changed the whole game and perspective a lot.

Your game idea is very cool, and the Visual art + the Lighting work perfect together. For me the "Restart Level" menu was a necessity a couple of times... (I found myself bisecting the Levels and distances to be able to solve the puzzle : )   I got my: "You are Breathtaking" at the end.

I had fun, thank you for sharing your game.

Thank you for your feedback.

Yes, there is some visual art that was meant to be added in the last day (but due to our limited time to make this project, we rather had to focus on making it playable, fixing bugs, etc).

You got that right, about the robots: our original intention was equiping the Robots with some kind of Electrostatic Gun (very much like a Taser...) to stun any enemies 1 or 2 mtrs  in front of them. With that in mind, the enemies would also be able to shoot you with a similar weapon (making you loose time and health), instead of just 'being in the middle' to make you waste time. But again... those ideas had to be put away for a next version of the game because of our time availability for this Game Jam.

We are definitely going to make a more polished version of this game, with all those ideas and some real art.

Thank you again for taking the time to play our game!

I liked this game.

This is a very good example that shows how we should do good 'level design': when you get to a cool mechanic + some levels, what happens is that it doesn't matter if you don't use complex 3D Animations, VFX, cel shaders that amaze everyone (like in Zelda ToTK), etc... the game is fun because its core is very well done (and that's something that's also adviced for X.R. developers:  your core mechanic and basic level's design should be fun withouth using the 'Augmentantion' feature - if it's for A.R. - , etc)... your game reminded me of that basic concept.

Thank You for submitting your game, it's a lot of fun.

This is really a very interesting game.

All the elements (musics, sounds, lighting, story, animations, level design, Visual Art) are so well orchestrated that create a majestic atmosphere... This game has true potential for even sell very well on Steam (or at least a sequel of it). Please think about it.

The only thing I would try to improve for now, is the Player Controller (I mean: maybe the Character should only walk in the 'forward' direction, and you could use a quicker animation for the Rotation, so the player should no wait for that to happen - resulting in a smoother movement for advanced players).

Thank You for sharing this Gem with us, I am glad I played your game.

That will be fun!

If you want someone to playtest that future version, you got it.

I liked this game.

The Rotational Effect (...when you reach a corner) is very cool (I don't know if it is 3D or a simulation by using 2D sprites, but overall I can say it was well done).

It is fun to go out there scaring cats and thieves XD

I liked this game a lot.

The music is very adequate to the theme. The character is very funny and the SFX are hilarious.

Also the concept of transforming the whole scene from 3D into 2D is interesting (although I would prefer using the 3D View always...).

The 3D Environment is very well set, and it was fun to explore it.

Ps: One thing I would add to the game, (to make it even more challenging) would be some enemies (and the ability to fire / shoot a weapon to defend yourself against them).

Congratulations, it is a very nice game, especially for a one man team.

This is a very cool game, and looks very polished!

The story is very well told at the beginning. The music (which is very good...), animations and other elements are very well orchestrated to create the right atmosphere.

PS: If you want some feedback... I would think about adding a Multiplayer feature (maybe, Netcode in Unity...) so another friend can play with you against the Bosses, especially (because they tend to be difficult to beat... but with a friend or two it would become something even more interesting, due to the 'Networking' factor).

Congratulations.

Congratulations for making such cool games in a very short time!

(that is not an easy thing to do)

I've had lots of fun in this Game Jam... I hope you too.

Wow! What a nice game.

The whole idea is very clever: combining the echolocation (and that shader...) with other perspectives (i.e.: Dimensions)... I really liked this game.

The only thing I would add (to make almost perfect) is two or more songs (of the same type of 'feeling' you are currenly using: calm + atmospheric), or a little longer song could do the trick too..., so when you are learning to play the game, so the music (which is very good) doesn't feel repetitive. (to be fair, it took me like 5 minutes to get the hang of it, by changing between Dimensions/Perspectives with "F", jumping across the platforms and everything... and so I listened to the song for a while later).

I also loved the shaders you used (Ripple + Outline together...), the effect is very interesting and supports all your game idea. I also agree that a V.R. version of this game would be awesome (providing you add a "vignette" effect to the sides, like they did in Resident Evil 4 VR, to help avoid "Motion Sickness" when you jump, run, etc).

Congratulations.

This is a very enjoyable game...   I wish there were more levels! (I know that 10 days is not enough time to put out all our ideas into the actual code, my team happended to have the same issue).

A Tip I can share: In any fight, if you Block your opponent's first attack, then you can make a Long Attack + a short attack in a combo... and you will be the Victor  XD

Hi  @Orange-Rhino , thank you for trying out our game. We are glad you liked it.

Yes, the yellow lights are just for lighting (although you gave me an interesting idea... thank you for that. Maybe if we decide to continue working on this project in the future we could implement Portals for the Robots to go across Walls according to specific rules - conditions...).

Regarding Fast Script Reload, yes it is a free tool that allows you to write code (in your preferrer IDE - Rider, Visual Studio, VSCode, etc...) while you have 'PlayMode'  already enabled in the Unity Editor... and you can see the changes in your game instantly. For me particularly worked like a charm, it improved my productivity. As I am a fan of that tool, I recommend you to test it out. The author has a nice Discord account an attends people's suggestions in there.

Have a nice day!

Thank You for the kind feedback!

(1) this is a Bug indeed... it is going to be fixed. Thank you for pointing that out.

In regards to you second suggestion (2), it was purposely intended that way, to make the player notice and "think"  further how to solve the puzzle of getting out with the 2 Robots together (the time is ticking out anyway, so if only one robot finishes the game, the player is going to lose as a consecuence when the 'time is out')...  Nevertheless, maybe that could be perceived as too much of a "punishment" for making  the mistake of not opening the door (and crossing the Goal) in the right order... Maybe in a future version of the game we could just cut the action 2 seconds later after that happens (and show the "Lose  ->  Play (Try) Again" Menu again).

Due to time constraints, it was indeed very difficult to playtest the game as much as we wished to (and there's also good "final Art" we wanted to add, but we had to focus on the design of the levels first and on - the "basics" -, the gameplay).

I hope you had so much fun with game, as we had while making it.

Please keep on making games!

You are becoming a good Game Developer. Thank you for sharing this game with us here.

Apart from the bug after pressing "E" (the upgrade menu, after that it does not allow me to keep on playing as a 3rd Person Shooter),  it is very cool. I liked the 3D environmet set, and I laughed when I saw the little guy dancing in the Main Menu.

Please keep on working on this game, it has a good potential (you might add more dwarfs, each one belonging to a class with a particular skill - Guard, Bomber, etc)..., you could also add more enemies and they could attack from a distance, etc,  it's just an idea.

Good work.

Lol!  The landing from the jump got me laughing for a  while.

Really nice 3D environment and Character... the Game has a great Potential, please continue working on it.

It's has an interesting Story background.

The aesthetics are very good, but it was kind of difficult to get past 3 or 4 platforms without the Dimensional Shift.

Nevertheless, Congratulations for your good work (the time they gave us for this Game Jam was very short, we have to consider that).

Nice Thumbnail image btw (I assume it was generated with A.I. - DAll.e2, MidJourney, etc -, right?   ; )

Lol.  Portal is a great game, and a good inspiration for this Game Jam too.

Also, the end results you got are really nice. I also liked the camera transitions and mechanics in general

(and I know, for sure, how dificult it can be to program good mechanics and recreate - or add - a nice Visual Style, all in only 10 days).

Congratulations.

Wow! It's a very nice game.

It reminds me of Zelda OoT  (gameplay wise).

...and that's a nice anime (cel) shading with Dithering, really very cool btw.

Great concept, and amazing  Cel Shading visuals.

Great concept, and amazing Visual Art.

(You seem to like Tears Of The Kingdom, right? ;)
